Great Oysters. Would give 5 stars but they won't always shuck them unless you call ahead. Today I lucked out. The nice young lady broke down I did it for me today. Last time was a no! Thank you! Ambiance is N/A for a seafood shop.

Tried the soft shell crab sandwich. Thought it was a good portion, batter was well seasoned, and the brioche bun plus fix-ins plus sauce paired well. The po'boy sandwich also tasted good. Fries were nice and crispy as well! All-in-all great spot to stop in and grab fresh seafood!

This is out go to place for seafood in Cutchogue. They closed during Covid and reopened with a more upscale menu under a new name Brauns Kitchen. Under the appetizers we had the tacos which consisted of 4 tacos with grilled white fish with guacamole and veggies. This was a generous serving which is enough for a meal! I tried the scallops with white bean ragu and Swiss chard. The scallops and the white bean ragu was delicious but the chard was a little under cooked for my taste. Another great option is the grilled Mahi sandwich with perfectly cooked fries.

The perfect place to go for lunch while you are out in North Fork! They offer outdoor dinning under a tent with picnic tables. Definitely get the fish and chips...the portion was generous. Peel n' eat shrimps was nicely flavored and you can literally just eat the shells. lastly, if you are looking for an healthier option, their offer grilled fish, where you can drizzle it with lemon buttery sauce...the best way to enjoy fish!

Blacken fish???!!! Should change on the menu to burnt fish. If you want CANCER, order this.

Rarely got misled by Yelp. This is one of them:(. Ordered three dishes and threw two away:((( ouch! Blacken fish is rather badly BURNT than blacken. Eel is tasteless. The only eatable one is fries n a small piece of fish. Amen! I would give one star. Two star for the outdoor sitting.

Great seafood! Specials Menu has a good variety. Quick and friendly service. There are a few tables inside but more seating outside.

This place is not opened for take out.. Yelp should be sure to report that?

They were. Maybe the time you went it wasn't. But, I took out 3 filet sandwiches and fries plus drinks and we sat in the park and ate them. Give them another try.

I explained I had to get back to Brooklyn, she let me know that I could get salads and soup. I ordered about a small container of shrimp salad my friend ordered seafood salad. Both were delicious l. They had the right amount of red onions, celery, dill, mayo and whatever secret ingredients they put in there. I also had the lobster Chipotle soup, once again great seasoning, warm and comforting. I would definitely drive about two hours back to this place. Hopefully during the week it's not as crowded.

We showed up a few minutes early and were told by the counter person that (a) that our order hadn't been started yet and (b) that we were told it would be an hour when we called and we were early. And there was an edge in her voice. So we went to run an errand and came back 25 minutes later and the order still hadn't been started yet. So it's now more than an hour from the time we ordered and now we are in freefall. So we cancelled the order - with more attitude from a different counter person. It wasn't so much the delay in the order - things happen. But it was the attitude that accompanied it that was most off putting. It felt like a learned behavior.

Had the mezcal Paloma and my wife had the bees knees which were both created to absolute perfection. The Littles looked over the menu and were kinda ‍ but our waiter must speak kiddo and said that they have chicken fingers and other kid meals that they would be happy to make. Score!! We got the fried calamari for the table to start. Crispy, fresh and beautifully tender. Kids devoured them and almost took one of our fingers off for the last one. My wife had the summer risotto and made a request for grilled chicken on top which they were happy to do. I had the Greek farro salad with grilled chicken, again, after a day of wine tasting it was the protein I needed and lightness I was looking for. Chicken as a topper on both dishes was abundant . Our servers were attentive without being intrusive or trying to rush us out. Host was friendly and accommodating, even checked up on us as she escorted other diners to their table. QPR was right on point. All dishes were fresh, seasoned to perfection, creative utilizing what's local and what's in season and generously portioned. This place stays on my radar and will be frequented again and again when we're in town next. I wish more spots in CT were this creative with locally grown ingredients and still maintained an ambience of a friendly neighborhood bistro. Very welcoming place.
