We always loved the taco man when it was in Ontario and the one in Montclair! Going to this one reminded us of the old days of living in the area! The tacos were amazing and as always their pineapple habanero salsa was I got two street tacos with al pastor, 1 baja style fish taco and also a quesadilla with al pastor. I love the pineapple addition and the juicy al pastor meat adds the perfect touch. The fish was flaky and perfectly seasoned as well. It was a little cold inside the building because the fans were on and the door was open but the workers fixed the problem for us when we asked. This location is located off foothill in upland. Service was friendly and fast! I ordered the keto taco with asada protein this was a delicious lighter option as the tacos is made of cheese. I enjoyed the crispy cheese flavor. I will be ordering this again when I come back. I topped it with the red salsa which was hot and flavorful. The gringa taco has a flour tortilla and stuffed with cheese onions and Al pastor this was a nice size and had a great taste. This establishment also offers beer if you want to sit back and relax while eating . There is five tables but around the front of the ordering area there is an option to sit down on stools. The weekday morning crew usually does a better job. This time I ordered online and showed up right when it said to pick up. I checked in with the cashier, and she asked to see my receipt (which they've never done before). She looked for my order, said it was still being made, and told me to wait. Fifteen minutes later, they finally made it. I don't mind waiting when things get backed up, but the attitude was the issue. They don't take phone orders so you are waiting there forever. Hidden Gem. Stumbled upon this spot as I approached Waba Grill and decided last second that I was feeling taco Tuesday instead! (Great deals on Tuesdays). One of the business managers named Israel greeted us right away which made us feel welcomed. We ordered the al pastor and carnitas tacos and they were FANTASTIC! I've been here twice and each time I've gotten my food to go. The street tacos are really good, the meat is juicy and the tortillas are delicious. The salsa is flavorful and a good level of spicy. Everything else that I've tried is good but only if you ignore how soggy the food gets. I live about 5 minutes from this location and by the time I get home the food is extremely soggy and cold even though it was just made fresh to order. I think the problem is the amount of cilantro and onions or salsa cruda they put on their food. I got the skirt steak burrito but it was hard to really enjoy it. The bottom of the burrito was so soggy that it started falling apart. The flavor was there but it really detracted from the experience. The same can be said about their Tijuana tacos and their mulitas. I'll give this place one more chance and order everything on the side next time. read more
