    Carne asada burrito & tacos
    Bethzy R.

this place is pretty good! I got the carne asada burrito & added guac and cheese and it made it 10x better. The burrito is pretty big so although it is 4$ for a taco the portion of the burritos are worth it in my opinion. The tacos are pretty good as well, and the meat is great as well. The service was good, and we didn't wait that long to get our food, the ambiance inside there is no seating inside, super small but outside there's plenty of seating around. Lines could get a little long but they go pretty fast :)

Came here in a Sunday afternoon. The place wasn't super busy but has consistent traffic. Inside is very small and barely any space to stand in line. Service was good. Food was mediocre. The meat was tender but not much flavor beyond that. I like how they have a variety of sauces but none are particularly extraordinary. I'm glad I tried this place out but would not go out of my way for it.

First time trying The Taco Stand and while there were definitely some good things, it didn't quite win me over for the price. The mar y tierra fries were great and I really appreciated the homemade tortillas. We visited on a busy Saturday afternoon and unfortunately they had already run out of both al pastor and churros, so we only tried the carne asada tacos and the mar y tierra fries. The carne asada had good flavor, but the quality was a bit inconsistent. A few tacos were good and a couple were dry. Overall, it's better than many taco spots in the area but the big cons were the price and the wait.

The cashier and manager very helpful. Made great recommendations! The outdoor seating and whole vibe of the Collective is really laid back and chill. All of the food coming out was amazing. Tasting , presentation, smells. IYkYK

I saw this place on TikTok and decided to check it out. I came on a Sunday around 8pm, and the kitchen was still really busy, so I ended up waiting about half an hour for my food. The restaurant itself was clean, and the employees were friendly with a very positive attitude. I got a California burrito, and it was decent. Overall, I'd recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.

Volcan Carne taco I ordered. Nothing like their picture. More tostada than cheese and meat, couple pieces of cilantro and onion. First time here and very disappointed.

I was excited to try this new taco spot at the Farm House and had a solid experience! Got the California burrito and the Mar y Tierra fries and both were great. Their portion sizes are very generous. I was easily able to share the burrito with my wife and we had a good amount of fries left over as well and we were stuffed! The burrito was really good but the highlight for me was the fries. The shrimp on the fries was awesome and the seasoning was really good. They don't skimp out on the ingredients, portion or the guac. Everything tasted fresh too. Be prepared to wait in line however, we waited for about 15 minutes and an additional 15 to get our food after ordering. A group of people also cut in line in front of us with their friends so that was a bit of a bummer too. All in all though it was a good experience and I look forward to trying more from here!

The food is amazing the meat is tender and something different with their style that way of preparing the meats and everything no matter what you order has so much flavor is the sauce is the flavor and the lines expected to be long or very long or very very long but you know if anything is you never hear anyone complain because it's worth the wait and they have a soft bar with all different types of sauces and condiments the only regret you have is you wish you ordered more so order more and you'll have no regrets

Fries, guacamole, steak, shrimp and more.

I had seen a picture of this meal and really wanted to try it. It looked so good. Great combination of ingredients. So I finally went to try it and I was really disappointed. Why, because, and only because, I think the fries were too greasy. I think the fries alone ruined the whole meal. Change those greasy fries and the meal will get fives stars.

I went to the San Diego location last month and was excited to see they're expanding closer to me. This new spot is at The Farmhouse Collective in Riverside think Anaheim Packing District but mostly outdoor dining, less cramped and better vibes IMO. This Taco Stand location is small inside with no indoor seating but there's plenty of outdoor seating. The menu and pricing mirror their San Diego and OC locations and are honestly such a good deal for fresh, non-fast-food Mexican. If distance and convenience weren't factors, I'd choose this over Chipotle any day. Everything we ordered hit. Baja Taco (sub corn for flour and thank me later) - A solid Baja taco. Not the best I've ever had but if it's on the menu, I'm ordering it. California Burrito - Under $11 and incredibly filling. Steak was cooked perfectly. Would absolutely get this again especially paired with their creamy salsas. Mar y Tierra Fries - We tried the carne asada fries on our first visit and were blown away by how addicting they were. The fries remind me of Taco Bell's nacho fries, but 10x better. The shrimp was a nice touch, but I'll probably stick to carne asada next time. Churros - So good. Perfectly crispy with just the right amount of dough. Served warm and still crunchy even 20 minutes later. Overall, the food quality, pricing, and consistency are commendable. Easily one of my top picks at The Farmhouse Collective. They're still working through some operational growing pains but the food comes out fast.

First time trying this place after my friends told me to check it out. It's amazing!! We got the Baja tacos and the carne asada burritos. The line moved pretty fast but the food was fresh. It's our new spot!

Wow is what I would say with the food from Taco stand. It's worth every penny and every minute of wait. We went to see our son in Riverside and he took us there for lunch. Had to wait almost 25 mins to order food and 15 mins more to get the food. Bu when you take the dirty bite of food you know it's so worth it. We ordered el pastor burrito and a mushroom burrito with three different types of taco and a portion of churros with condensed milk. Omg it was so much food for dirt cheap price. So filling. The place is located in a nice farm house kind of a location. Great vibes and some great food stores nearby too. Evening if you go they have live music everyday too. Fun place. Vegetarians have limited options but they do have it. Also the salsa and sauce is so so good. Please visit guys. Wish you had a store in Bay Area too. Sure to return when we in Riverside again.

The meal started off strong with their chips and salsa--super fresh and flavorful. For my entrée, I had the chicken fajitas. While they were cooked properly, I wish they had a bit more seasoning to really bring out the flavor. My wife had the enchiladas divorciadas, which were beautifully presented, but unfortunately, the filling was a bit cool. She probably should have sent it back, but since we were in a hurry, we didn't bother. On the positive side, my daughter had the carne asada burrito, and she said it was excellent. Service started off great with our younger male waiter being very attentive at first, but it slowed down significantly as our meal went on. By the end of our visit, I actually had to go up to the register to ask to pay. It was lunch time, and it wasn't that busy, so this felt a bit out of the ordinary. Despite the hiccups, I'm willing to give Morena's Mexican Cuisine another try, as it may have just been an off day. The chips and salsa, along with my daughter's burrito, showed that they definitely have what it takes to impress. I'll reserve final judgment after my next visit!

I found out about it through my cousin, who's a UCR alum, and I'm really glad I finally got to try it. The staff were super nice and attentive, constantly coming by our table to check if we needed more water, tortillas, or anything else we might want. Even with how busy it was, they still made sure everyone was taken care of, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was packed, and it actually surprised me because I don't usually see that many people at restaurants in Riverside. The energy inside felt lively but still comfortable. One of my favorite parts was the fresh tortillas. They come out hot and fresh from the oven, and you can literally watch them being made right in front of you, which made it even better. And the best part is they're free. We ordered the carne fajitas and chile relleno. The fajitas were incredible, the meat was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, with that perfect smoky sear that comes from being cooked fresh on a hot skillet. Everything came out sizzling and stayed flavorful with every bite. The chile relleno was also really good, with a nice balance of savory and slightly creamy filling that paired well with the sauce. It was actually my first time trying fajitas, and I can confidently say I'll be ordering them again the next time I come back. I definitely plan on returning while I'm still at UCR to make up for all the years I didn't know this place existed.

First time coming to the restaurant for all of us. The ambience was cool and I liked the fact that they made the tortillas fresh. The food was cool I guess. My grandmother got the chicken fajitas but there were no bell peppers with it, just onions. The tamale was mid. My Dad and myself ordered a basic bean and cheese burrito. I did not like the fact that it wasn't mentioned that the beans are made with bacon until AFTER we received our food! My dad doesn't eat meat and the rice is made with chicken as well. The server did bring him something else but this needs to be stated on the menu or upon ordering! We were sat right next to where they made the tortillas and can see them being made since they had glass windows around it. However, there was one gentleman that was making tortillas who was on his cell phone texting or whatever CONSTANTLY at the same time while doing this. He had a glove on one hand and no glove on the other, and was touching the tortilla dough.....We all know how dirty a cell phone is! And what made it worse is at one point he itched the inside of his nose with his finger, and didn't even wash his hands or have gloves on after that. Definitely made my stomach turn and what caused me to go and write this review. I suggest a camera be placed at the tortilla station, add the notes about bacon in the beans and chicken in the rice, and add bell peppers to the fajitas. Also, maybe give the option of meatless beans and rice for the non-meat eaters
