Elegant place to grab a glass of wine or a cappuccino while waiting for the train. Beautiful, clean and reasonably priced.

Mozzarella Flatbread Calamari Chicken Wings Pretzel Bites

Came here for happy hour, but we actually ended up paying full price. It's fine though. The food was good. The pretzel bites were a little bit stale so I wouldn't get those again. The flatbread was pretty good but a little bit soggy. The wings were delicious and the calamari were delicious. The service was very fast and hovered over us a little bit but they were very accommodating so that was nice. We sat outside and the outdoor seating is very nice. Not sure if I would come again, but it was good for a quick happy hour

We lucked out because it was a pretty evening and there were tables available outside. Service was great, very attentive. My Greek style salad was filling, and my friend had the crab cake appetizer in a main entree portion. Drinks were lovely as well.

Pat LaFrieda Burger with delicious fries

Today I had the pleasure of having lunch here with my God Daughter after a busy day running errands. I had to try the Pat LaFrieda Burger as recommended by the magazine "Westchester." That burger did not disappoint. My Goddaughter had their cod, which, although was lite and delicious, but after she had a bite of my burger, she had to eat the rest. I promised her we would come back and order their burgers again. I remember when this place was "Coals." The interior is stylishly decorated with a bit of a modern and bright flair. This place is definitely worth multiple visits which I will most likely fulfill

Stopped by for lunch meeting and the experience was amazing. The service food and drinks was great. I also like that it's close to my job so I can definitely stop by again.

Cauliflower & Swiss Chard Appetizer with Melted Brie!

Greeted with kindness. Cocktail favorite was a spicy mezcal spicy Paloma! The main restaurant is divided between the main dining and bar so all can enjoy. The cauliflower appetizer was the perfect balance with Swiss Chard and Brie - YUM! Dinner was a tasty Cod Filet with an orange glaze and couscous. I will be BACK!!

Five Stars Isn't Enough! The Tav'ery is an absolute gem! I went yesterday and I still can't get over the food and service. I grabbed a table outside on a perfect day, and the atmosphere couldn't have been better--relaxed, vibrant, and ideal for enjoying great food. The calamari? Off the chains. Perfectly crispy, seasoned just right, and easily some of the best I've ever had. The sauce with it was incredible! And there's a reason why the Pat LaFrieda Original Beef Burger was voted Best Burger in Westchester--because it absolutely deserves it. Juicy, flavorful, cooked to perfection... it's the kind of burger you think about days later. I also tried the Chicken Francese--not bad at all, solid dish, but the burger definitely stole the show. Also I judged the fries on the look early but they proved me wrong. The fries were actually incredibly. This is the first time in my life going out to eat and being this shocked of how good everything went where I needed to leave a review to explain it. You need to get the calamari & Pat LaFrieda Original Beef Burger! Shoutout to Emma, our server--she was incredible! Super friendly, attentive without hovering, and made the whole experience even better. If you get a chance to read the review and go to eat ask for Emma if she's available and you won't regret it! If you're looking for great food, next-level service, and the perfect outdoor setup, The Tav'ery checks every box. Already can't wait to come back.

    Pat LaFrieda Burger

Nice restaurant and lovely staff. I had the Pat Lafrieda burger and it was delicious! The patty was juicy and I loved the sauce they used. I wish they had more burger options so I could try more. They also had these interestingly cut fries that were more like wedges. The flavor was there but it was a little too much potato for me, I prefer slim fries.

Pop music, pops of black on the walls, TV screens behind and above the bar- so that almost every seat has a good view, a noticeable bar and those wood-slab walls. You know the look. The last time hubs and I were in this space was about 10 yrs ago, when it was Sammy's, so walking into Urban H. and getting hit with their urban-industrial-sports bar feel caught me a little off guard. No offense. Since hubs and I are getting settled into our other home in Westchester, dining out has been our friend. The young ladies here did well. From the moment we walked in until we headed out, everyone was pleasant, welcoming and attentive. We started with the calamari which was tender. Like really tender. Not a rubber band in sight. But where were the tentacles?! Those crispy little tangled things are half the reason hubs and I order calamari and sadly, there wasn't even one. Hubs went with a canned hard lemonade. It was refreshing but it was missing at least a little oomph especially if it's called "hard lemonade". My salmon dinner was beautifully prepared on parsnip puree with sautéed broccoli rabe and a pomegranate sauce. I totally get my dish was going for that savory/sweet mix- but that pomegranate sauce kind of sent my dinner slightly off keel for me. Hubs, loved his pork chop though with sautéed spinach and...white rice.¯\(ツ)/¯. We ordered the "mango" sorbet but it tasted more like lemon and it you had blindfolded me and asked me to tell you the flavor, mango would not have made my first guess. Honestly- Urban H. has more swagger than quiet, screens and a pop playlist that wants you to know it's there. But the service was super pleasant.

We started with the Poke Nachos ($19), which were alright. I'm more of a beef nacho guy. Weird. Much weirder was the glass I got my (delicious) cocktail in, which was a large condiment/snack glass. I have the same ones at home - great for olives and sides of guac, not for a drink with boba balls. The drink had no straw (bc in a three-inch tall sauce cup). So I had to just kind of shake the boba into my mouth when the drink was done. Cocktail was a nice combination of flavors but that presentation was extremely odd. Vibe of refresh is more like an airport sports bar, very different from warm/industrial/dark look before. Was a big fan of this spot for years but new version isn't for me. Wish them the best with new food/drink program and crowd.

The restaurant has a typical sports bar vibe, with TVs and sports memorabilia on the walls. It was quite loud. The host was kind enough to sit us in a corner so we had room for the stroller we had with us. They have an awesome brunch menu! They also have a full cocktail menu (with very pretty images), but we did not partake this time around. The avocado toast was just okay. I was excited because they seemed to have a unique preparation with dukka and chimichurri. The chimichurri was quite tasty. The bread was nice and hearty and the dressing on the side salad was pleasantly tangy. However, the avocado was not at all fresh. It was slightly brown and tasted like guacamole left in the fridge for a day or two. My husband got the chicken sandwich and was pleased with the taste, portion size, and accompanying fries. My lemonade was on the sweet side. I prefer a bit more of a fresh citrus taste so I asked for some lemon wedges and that helped. Our waiter was friendly.

I opted to mix and match tacos and all the flavors were delicious. --I really like when places offer a mix and match situation because I like variety. Though pricy, all of our drinks were on point. The large beer selection was a hit as were the refreshing margaritas. Our server was very friendly. (He did however keep noting things that were listed as spicy were very spicy when no one in our group found anything spicy at all despite the dish title lol, but I guess that's personal preference). The restaurant is definitely on the pricier side so keep that in mind. I would definitely return. The menu offers something for everyone.
