    Fried mushrooms

Ok so this is mixed review honestly because some things were fantastic and some things horrible. Went for lunch on a Sunday about noon.... Ahh we where only people there other than one guy at the bar. Service was just ok. The good: Fried mushrooms and hush puppies are some of the best we have ever had! The average: Catfish Poorboy and fries were average. Catfish fillet was big but under seasoned and fries just blah. The horrible: The Tipsy salad sampler of egg salad, chicken salad and pimento cheese. While it looked great and huge portions all three are so bad, almost un edible especially the pimento cheese! The hush puppies are probably the best we have ever had and we had lots of them from all over Louisiana! Might give it one more shot.

Food is delicious! The bartender/server Tatum was adorable. Only issue is they do not have fresh iced tea - it's out of a gun. I will be back!

Service was outstanding! From the hostess to the waitress - attentive and friendly despite being fairly busy. We ordered the Crawfish Dip to start and were pleasantly surprised by the amount of crawfish - recommend crostini over chips. For our meals, I opted for a light option of blackened snapper with broccoli. Very impressed with the fish and while I know it's not easy to screw up broccoli, I thought it was really good! My husband had the crawfish Po Boy and was a big fan. I've also never seen my husband not finish a meal and this was it! Huge Po Boy with a hearty helping of fries. The fries were quite tasty as well. We will be back!

Great deals, cool vibe, great service at the bar! Food was tasty, cooked well, flavorful, and loaded. Had tequila Tuesday $6 drinks, and taco Tuesday $10 for lunch tacos your choice on the protein. We both got crawfish- fire with the hot sauce!

We walked in around 9 o'clock this evening, and Monica took amazing care of my girl friend and I. The food was well seasoned to perfection, amazing customer service, terrific portions, and a fun atmosphere. As a Louisiana native, I HIGHLY recommend you come here! Thanks Monica for everything, keep slaying baddie.

Image shows the gluten free food we ordered and loved!

Our server Monica was amazing! The food is great! Even better most of the menu can be made gluten free and is celiac approved!

Tipsy was just ok for me. We were the only ones in here at noon and ordered the fried catfish plate which came with the usual fanfare of fries and cole slaw. It was ok ish. The slaw had way to too much mayo and vinegar but the fish was decent. The reason the 4 stars was the great service and the cool atmosphere. But for fried catfish, Razoos is better, in my opinion.

We love Tipsy crawfish! Love the fried crawfish poboy, and the boiled crawfish are amazing! Added the mussels for only 8 dollars. So yummy! Highly recommend!

We ordered the…read morepepperoni cagliaritana, Caesar salad, TNT panini, small three cheese pizza, and tiramisu and every single thing hit. The cagliaritana had the PERFECT ratio of ingredients and the crunch on the pizza was unreal. Everything tasted and smelled insanely fresh. The Caesar was loaded with freshly shaved parm and somehow tasted way better than a Caesar salad has any right to. I think the croutons were also homemade? Perfect! The small three cheese pizza was also perfect -- great crust, great sauce-to-cheese ratio, and honestly the perfect size to split with someone alongside a salad. But the TNT panini?? Holy crap. The second you unwrap it, the smell of the garlicky focaccia hits you immediately. And the pink sauce was some of the best I've had. The tiramisu was also the perfect sweet ending to the meal. It wasn't overly sweet and soggy like most in this area. Cannot wait to try the cannolis! After years of searching for real Italian food, I finally feel like I found it. Fresh ingredients, amazing flavor, and genuinely kind people. The owner (or who I believe was the owner working the front) was so friendly, accommodating, and transparent about timing. We ordered ahead online and everything worked out perfectly. Already excited for the leftovers and cannot wait for another visit!

Maybe it got cold by the time I came home and tried it? But it's a pick-up only location, and i live like 13 mins away, so idk how to make the experience better. I did see some people getting the sandwich, and they looked really good. I do want to revisit to try the sandwiches, but the pizzas are unfortunately a no for me. The service was decent. The store is a tiny, super cute pick-up location.

All three of the people that came by to refill coffee and water and to check on us (multiple times) were very nice. We were fortunate to arrive at the perfect time for a Saturday morning, as we would find out in just a few minutes, as we watched the wait list grow. This being our first time, we weren't sure of the seating situation. I walked to the back, where the to-go pick up was located, to find that we can sit anywhere and that someone would come and help us. We did, and they did. I suggest you stop in and give Curuba a try. Very reasonable prices, lots of menu choices, wonderful staff, oh, did I mention the coffee? I love dark roast coffee, "Just black, please". This Columbian coffee is dark, rich, smooth and flavorful with an aroma that hits the senses with every taste. If you're a dark roasted coffee fan, stop in for a cup to go. You'll be back. And even better, the coffee comes from Columbia. They purchase it from a local importer (I believe). They provided the url via QR code. We believe in the "Buy local" philosophy. It's nice to see businesses doing business with local businesses. THE BAD: It's a small restaurant. Making a reservation (Open Table) is likely a good idea. We happened to find it at a slow moment on a Saturday morning. OVERALL: We're fans. I'd love to take our friends and family for lunch, or tell them about our new find. However, there are some things better kept to oneself.

Been wanting to try out Curuba for a while and finally made it in with a friend for lunch…read more I'd like to start by saying that the service is fantastic. The gentleman practically went over the entire menu with us which was much appreciated . We were constantly checked on and felt really welcomed. My friend got a coffee and said it was very good . We also tried the lulo and Maracuya juice . I highly recommend the lulo if you enjoy tart and sweet ( the maracuya was a bit too sweet for my liking ). We started off with the empanada sampler and Marcilla au gratin . Not big fans of the marcilla - way too much dairy . The sausage itself was good, but wouldn't get it again . Our favorite empanada was the calentao followed by the brisket. The chicken was just ok. We both agreed that our main course, the sancocho de costilla was yummy . If you're looking for a hearty soup that feels like a nice warm hug, I'd highly recommend . Overall, worth checking out . I'd come back to try other dishes and grab something from the bakery .

I am very displeased with the manner in which I ended up with what I "NOW" know was optional.... at an additional charge. Since the sandwich was basically a Thanksgiving meal on a bun, when the order taker/server asked if I wanted the gravy on the sandwich or on the side, and this being my first time to darken their door, I said, "on the side". My sandwich was a very reasonable $7.99. Ordered! Expect ill with tax to be $8.50-ish. NO.... $10.26. By the time it registered that something was amiss (by my thinking) she was wrapping up the order for me. I reminded her (I am sure she didn't have a clue about the story) of the mom and pop store that kept a hand broom by the register and on every order, they would automatically scan the broom. Most people never checked their receipt to know the difference and if they did it was chalked up to being an accident. That being said... I diligently searched the menu board for a side of gravy or an Asterix noting an extra charge for the gravy and it was not to be found... anywhere. She did not say anything acknowledging a problem from that side of the register. I wished her a happy New Year and left. I will be a repeat customer because the meal was great. But I should have had been told the gravy was extra. Now that I do know, I can't imagine NOT ordering the gravy. But it was a devious tactic to stick us with an extra charge that the person could kit show me on the board. Despite my rant, if you are a sandwich person, DO GO!
