I ordered take out for three. I don't eat meat, so I'm always looking for a go to veggie dish. I was excited to try the Pasta Delicata, a zucchini noodle w/marinara. It was bland, bland, bland! Salt is inexpensive...use some! Also ordered The Classic (hamburger) with a coke. I had to ask for the coke and was surprised when I saw how small it was with a half inch of head space which means not much coke for $2.75. Could've grabbed a bucket of coke around the corner at Circle K for less. The Chicken and waffles were just ok. For the $18 price tag it should have at least been served with real maple syrup and SPICY candied jalapeno bacon (bacon had no heat, nada, zero!). A jalapeno may have been waved over the candied bacon, which does not make for spicy candied bacon. All for over $50. I was really hoping to have a new dinner spot, unfortunately this 1st impression missed the mark. read more

My first time visiting and I will not return. I went about an hour before close one evening. The staff were very friendly and prompt but the food was not good. I ordered the corn bisque and it was soooo salty I couldn't enjoy it. I asked the waitress to go back to the kitchen and taste it and she agreed so they removed from my bill. Otherwise it would've been a great dish! Same with the platter - it came out hot & fresh but salty. At least the hush puppies were good. Anyway, I won't return. I went for Mardi Gras. I ordered a Hurricane and was disappointed it came in a styrofoam cup. The service was really, really slow. FYI, we were told, you have to call ahead to reserve a booth. Sad thing is I tried numerous times and no one would answer the phone. The hostess told us she was too busy to answer the phone so she just let it ring. Ordered on DoorDash and the restaurant was working on our order for over an hour and a half. The restaurant itself would not answer the phone when called, and all of the multiple different dashers who waited on our food said that the workers ignored them when they tried to ask about the order. Just had an a fantastic lunch at Tipsy Crawfish in McKinney. My husband and I both had the shrimp tacos and they were absolutely AMAZING! The portion size was huge - 3 fully loaded tacos and a mountain of sweet potato fries (for me) and kettle chips (for my husband). The tacos included pico, lettuce and a really tasty remoulade. The tacos are normally $15 but they are included in the lunch specials for only $12. Can't recommend this place highly enough! Go and enjoy! Also found out they play poker there on Tuesday nights. Love this place! My husband and I have been having a date night here every Friday since Tipsy opened. The bartenders are lovely. I order a mojito every time and my husband always orders a draft beer (usually the union bear Amber). We love the kettle chips! Please try these, they are so good!! They have vegan options which is a plus for me because I have a dairy allergy. My husband loves the jambalaya. His favorite dish though is a dish that isn't always on the menu but is chicken and waffles. AMAZING! Our kiddos (13&16) order the grilled chicken salad and the shrimp po boy! My husband and I wanted to treat ourselves and have a nice meal out. It was my job to find the perfect spot. After a quick map search and a quick peek of their website, I knew I had found the perfect place. Boy was I wrong! We were welcomed and seated after a brief wait. We loved the aesthetic of the restaurant, a very strong Louisiana-Cajun feel. The bar area housed a few large screen televisions and the outdoor patio was very inviting. We ordered drinks and wings as the appetizer. The wings were whole, freshly made and tasty. Shortly afterwards, my hubby ordered the catfish po-boy with "seasoned-fries" and I ordered the shrimp and catfish basket with the same side. Now here is where the grave disappointment begins. Although the food seemed freshly made it was not good. The fries were a cheap version of sub-par frozen fries, and not true seasoned fries. It's 2024 and there are much better fries to choose from for your restaurant! I was so disappointed! They were fries sprinkled with a seasoning on top that you couldn't see or taste. I couldn't believe it, and they were greasy. Yuck! The catfish was a half cut of a filet, very thin and not seasoned to taste. However, the shrimp were a nice size bite! They were seasoned and tasty. They were the best part of my plate. Be smart and wise when choosing this restaurant. Clearly they have a lot of work to do in the back of the house. read more

As much as I had hoped there would be a good Cajun restaurant nearby, I was very disappointed. I've been here twice and the first time the gumbo & etoufee were okay. The second time I ordered fried catfish, shrimp, crawfish & hush puppies. The shrimp was burnt and I'm not sure what was supposed to be the crawfish. The service was incredibly slow and we had to ask for catsup, cocktail sauce and tartar sauce, which took several minutes to bring. Another 10 minute wait to get out check even though there were hardly anyone eating there. read more
