An amazing Yelp find. Kobelco has a customer experience center just down the road and we had a group there this week. After dropping them off at the airport we have to straighten up the "Ranch". We opted for breakfast and Yelp brought up Jordan's just around the corner and behind another business so you do have to be looking for it. Small veteran owned business. Neat as a pin on the inside. This is a super friendly quaint restaurant with delicious quality home made food. Super impressed with the attention to detail and how everything is done with intention and care. My favorite was chicken and dumpling soup and the apple pie. The salad bar was stocked but it was definitely quality over quantity and I appreciated that. The meatloaf was moist and flavorful as was the mashed potatoes and gravy. I stole some if my sons tater tots which were perfectly cooked too. was very very happy to support this place. This is a veteran family owned business. They have a lunch buffet Tuesday thru Friday with different home cooked meals. There Chicken Fried Steak is so good. And so are there burgers. Looking for a breakfast place other than a big chain restaurant where the staff is friendly and attentive, then look no further. We were out running errands and stopped in at Jordan's. The food was just great home cooking and you didn't have to do the dishes. We had the omelette and the pancake breakfasts which were very good. I recently found Jordan's Home Cook'n as a wonderful hidden gem and I am annoyed at myself for not having discovered this great place earlier than I did because I live nearby and used to frequent this same location when it was occupied by the former pizza shop. I visited today with my wife and children and had a great overall experience, as the friendliness of the proprietors, the extremely high quality of the food, the high levels of cleanliness, and interesting decor made for a great lunch. My wife and daughter ordered the breakfast buffet and they thought the bacon, sausage, pancakes, and waffles were wonderfully prepared and super fresh. My other daughter commented that her grilled cheese sandwich was the best that she has ever had. I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and I think it was as good as any chicken fried steak that I have had in quite a long time, featuring a great crust that was clearly cooked in a clean oil and possibly in the pan instead of a deep fryer. I thought the gravy and potatoes were superb as well and were clearly prepared from scratch and seasoned deliciously with a pronounced peppery flavor that is perfect with the CFS. I also greatly appreciate that this is a locally and veteran owned business, and I also appreciate the wholesome and very interesting decor of the dining area, featuring old newspapers, Superman memorabilia, nice plants, and also patriotic and veteran supporting materials, so kudos to the owners for their great taste. Heard about this place from a colleague. She had the breakfast. I ordered the BLT and fries. The fries were seasoned to perfection. The bacon was not missed! I will definitely be back! I'm not sure how the other reviews got so high. French toast was soggy with oil/grease and the hash brown patty was the same way. There was no buffet and the menu only had six or eight items to choose from. The coffee was some sort of hazel nut flavor and looked like sun tea. The only thing I can say is that the eggs were over easy just like they should. This was a Thursday and the only person working had to do everything himself. He took our order and payment at the counter. Told us where the coffee was and to help ourselves. He then went to make our order. Nice guy. Very polite. Hopefully he gets some help, if business picks up. We were the only two people in the place besides him. Maybe things are different on weekends. But from what we experienced, We will never know. read more

They catered an event in my neighborhood and the cookies were delicious. We decided to try them out for a last-minute dinner alternative. The food was great. I got their brisket burger with fries, the fried chicken wings, and collard greens. Everything was delicious. It was all made to order fresh and the service was great. Delicious breakfast buffet. We had eggs, bacon, grits, pancakes, hash brown casserole, and hash browns. There were also biscuits, gravy, and potatoes. The food we had was absolutely delicious, all of it. We like to try different breakfast places, and this one had the best flavors and didn't taste like all the rest. Friendly people, clean reataurant, and the buffet includes coffee or tea. We will definitely be back. As of 9.29.24, the hours are different than posted here. They have lunch buffets M-F, breakfast buffets on Saturday and Sunday, and open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. read more
