Why 4 stars? Because I loved the European vibes. --- --- --- This is one of the most European restaurants I've been to since my visit to Europe, 6 years ago. The vibe, the menu, and even the plates/cups/utensils. I'm pretty sure I entered some kind of portal in the Woodlands that teleported me across the Atlantic. How I ended up here is: we have taken our son to the Play Museum next door many times and recently noticed Simona's had opened. I bookmarked it, but kind of forgot about it. Fast forward to a morning a couple of months later where I got done playing basketball and was experiencing a shocking level of hunger. Like, I was going to need medical attention if I didn't consume a lot of food, very quickly. I opened up my bookmarks and Simona's was the closest spot to me at only 6 minutes away. Done! I ordered a very odd combination of things, but when you're that hungry, nothing makes sense: Protein Shake: 3-stars. This was fine, but not something I'd order again. I just really needed protein. Ribeye Sandwich: 4-stars. I didn't love that jalapenos were in this, despite them not being listed on the menu. That was a surprise, found out too late. But otherwise, this mostly hit the spot for me. Berries and Sweet Cream: 4.5 stars. Not too sweet, but perfectly satisfying. Hey, did I mention that this place reminds me of Europe? It certainly didn't hurt that I sat outside and the weather was postcard-perfect. Next time, we will definitely plan a visit here for the whole family post-Play Museum.

Simona's is a perfect example of what a bistro should be! I wish that there were more than 5 stars to render this cute, eclectic, delicious, little fusion restaurant. If you are in the mood for a light, inexpensive, healthy brunch experience, in The Woodlands area, add Simona's Bistro to the TOP of your list. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed!!!! *The Three Cheese Omelette (with spinach and chicken added) and Mediterranean Avocado Toast were EVERYTHING!!!!

I really want to like this place, I've been 4 times. We always kept thinking maybe they had an "off" day in service but it's been consistent every time. Service is slow to non-existent. Every time we go there it's not busy, maybe 1 or two people on their computers drinking coffee. Unless you speak Spanish it's really hard to get much help here. Even when you go inside to ask for something nobody knows what you are asking for because they don't speak English. Servers take about 10 minutes to get to your table, then another 15 minutes for the bartender to make your drink. They never check in on you when you're eating. The menu prices are wrong. I ordered 1 egg (on the menu it was 2.50). The bill they gave us the egg was $4! Just a single egg, $4?! On a positive note, I love that they offer healthy light vegetarian dishes. The Hugo cocktail and Molletes with fresh pico is so good. We will probably be back if they work on the service and update menu pricing.

    Mole was fabulous!!

Super cute spot here in The Woodlands. Staff is super friendly and their Nutella Crossiants are to die for. We definitely want to come back and try some of their wine and tapas. We love the art work and the restaurants whole vibe. Definitely coming back!

I found this place after doing a quick Google search, and we couldn't have been happier to have found it. The food was absolutely delicious & the drinks were everything we wanted. I celebrated my 29th morning here, and the staff were so kind and welcoming! We will definitely be back!

We got several things including the tableside duck tacos, a crazy menu item but it was delicious, as was everything else. Honestly surprised I haven't been back since, I will definitely make a mental note to take someone here. Just saw the "fantasy hour" menu...if the prices are the worry for dinner, go before it ends at 7 and just order a couple things each and try different stuff out, thats what I'm doing next time.

The neo modern interior is stylish and chic. Our group opted for the 10 course Chef's table tasting menu with wine pairings. The Chef's table is in a semi private space right in front of the kitchen, separated from the main dinning room by curtains. It was fun to watch the kitchen in action, but the area felt a bit warm at times. Presentation was definitely one of the highlights of the evening. Each dish arrived in uniquely designed serve ware and each wine was presented in a different glass. The ingredients were top-notch, featuring Hokkaido scallops, Wagyu beef, yellowfin tuna, etc. That said, while some dishes highlighted the Indian flavors we were expecting, others leaned more towards American fusion. The wine pairing complemented each dish well and the sommelier provided detailed explanations for each wine. My favorite dishes of the night were the chaat and the lamb chop. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and appreciated the quality of the ingredients, the service and presentation. However I wish there's more emphasis on the Indian flavors. Based on the glimpse of the flavors we experienced in some of the courses, I suspect I might enjoy a simple bowl of vindaloo or curry from their regular menu more.

When we arrived we sat downstairs until a waitress let us know they had closed but upstairs was open. The winding staircase is very nice. I ordered a cosmopolitan and my husband wanted a glass of Riesling but they didn't carry it. He ordered a glass of Pino Grigio instead. But that was quickly soured the blaring club music that felt like someone put a speaker directly on our window. I could still hear it with a sound machine and ear plugs...When discussed with the front desk, they said it was normal for floors 2-4 to hear this. Personally, I don't think it is normal for hotel guests to be subjected to club music while trying to get to sleep at 10 p.m. especially when you pay $300 a night, but that's just me. The Westin ended up moving us several floors up in the middle of the night so we could sleep. Laughably, we got up to floor 10+ and WE COULD STILL HEAR THE DAMN MUSIC AT MIDNIGHT.
