I had the Pork Chop meal for breakfast and it was pretty decent. I had the pork chops, eggs, grits (added cheese) and hash brown casserole. Everything was actually good. Just because I like things a little more seasoned than the next person, I could have added a little more season on the pork chops but it was good. Eggs cooked well, but my favorite was probably the GRITS. I'm a grits baby and I cook some REALLY good grits and their grits were well cooked!!! The hash brown casserole I really didn't eat, I'm not a fan of onions.. love to cook with them but not eat them (if that makes sense) lol. And last but not least, I had a cranberry mimosa, I've never heard of one but it was BANGING and the portion was AWESOME for $6! I was trying to make a Togo order but nobody was answering the phone. I have arrived at the store and I asked them why isn't nobody answering the phone. It is very busy in here but why offer ToGo when you don't have the staff? The lady at the podium said we can make a ToGo order at the bar. Everyone knows how that goes. Two people working on the bar very busy. Can't even get the guys attention. Where is the hiring sign bc y'all need help. None of these employees look happy to be here. It's been a long time since we had a server that truly cared about their service. Alexy at this location was ON POINT!! He made suggestions for our meal and was Johnny on the spot when it came to any request and needs we had during our visit. My food was delicious but it's something about the service that makes it over the top!! My bill was $40ish and I had no problem tipping him $30 he made our visit amazing. This was a bad experience I picked up a order of South Fry Arnold this morning with some other items the item was 14.62. And they would not give me a refund for my cash I don't live in the area I just picked up some food based of the star rating. I called the company 6 time trying to get in contact and they finally picked up. At first they asked for photos of my food and it send it and they said they would offer a new plate of food but I just wanted my money back. They gave me the run around then said they would only refund me if I brought back the food that I placed in the large dumbster at my work place for the day. Again I just wanted my money so I could go to McDonald's where hair has never been in my food this was a very unprofessional experience and the mangers were not being helpful and said they could not give a partial refund which I know they could it was just laziness. The Toasted Yolk brings Spring a new hip and tasty breakfast establishment. The service was fast and the food came out lighting fast. The West Coast Arnold was delicious and my Bloody Mary was great and tasty. I ordered a side of bacon and french toast all were fantastic. I have eaten here a couple times now. The food is nothing great, but this place fills a neighborhood need for a brunch spot. I tried to take some out of town guests here earlier today. We came in from the windy weather and scooted closer inside to get out of the doorway. I made eye contact with the girl who was taking names at the front and waited while she tended to a guest who got there before me. While she was talking to him, another patron came in. After the man in front of me was taken care of, the employee turned to the guest who came in after me to ask how many in her party. I interjected and said I was actually next in line. She made no apologies, and didn't even acknowledge her mistake. Due to this, I told her that I was going to go elsewhere because of the poor initial service. She very sarcastically wished me a Happy Holiday as my group walked out. Next time, I won't even try to go here. Horrible service!!!! Checked in and got a time of 25min they took my number down to let me know when my table will be ready due to the poor waiting area inside we waited outside. We got down 10 min from checking in just in case we were called although they said they will txt us. We are standing inside while waiting and the host are just laughing talking. I go to ask how much time for my name since it was already over the 25 min they said still waiting, people are leaving and no one is being seated. New people come in and they are being seated (WTH) so I ask why is that and they said they asked to sit outside, I then told her well why didn't I get that option if you see me standing her with my kids trying to sit down and eat. I had to go seat myself because she said for me to go pick a table and I had to get my own high chair because she couldn't do it. 15 min waiting for someone to acknowledge us to take our drink order. This place is 5 min from us. The food is pretty good but I'm underwhelmed at their lack of gluten free options for a fancy breakfast place. My husband says their biscuits and gravy are just what they should be. Today we ordered 3 types of eggs Benedict. They put scrambled eggs instead of poached eggs. They also forgot the avocados we paid extra for and had to go back to get those. We didn't realize until we were home and past closing time that all of our orders were incorrect. I have been to this location a few times and am always satisfied with the quality of my food and the superb service. Portion sizes are huge and the food always is prepared well. Prices are a bit high but are balanced out by the large portions. The servers are always friendly, accommodating, and are always going above and beyond to make the meal a great experience. The wait was a bit long, but that is to be expected on a Saturday morning when you have a restaurant that offers delicious food, great ambiance and excellent service. Brianna was our server and she was OUTSTANDING! Very friendly and joyful. She made our first visit to this establishment wonderful with her energetic and positive demeanor.
