    Grilled Chicken Fajitas

Service was fantastic. It was quick and the server was friendly and as attentive as we wanted. The food also arrived very promptly and was pipping HOT! The outside and inside of the restaurant was very clean, which impressed me. It was spacious enough you definitely didn't feel like you were sitting on the other tables laps. The Arroz con Pollo was a huge portion and tasted great. The fajitas were really good too. The chicken tasted great and love when it comes out with some "sizzle!" The chips and salsa were okay. The chips tasted a little hard, not sure if stale or not. Also, I ordered a Ultimate Marg and honestly, it want the best. That's the reason for the , & not the 5. For a $13.00 Marg, I'd expect better. Just didn't taste good and not too much flavor.

Shrimp salad. Very good with lots of perfectly cooked shrimp and grilled onions and peppers.

There is always a nice little crowd of cars around The Toros and the girls next door recommended lunch. We stopped for early Sunday lunch and we pretty much had the dining room to ourselves. We were seated quickly and water, chips and salsa arrived quickly at the table. The service is fantastic. Our server was attentive and friendly. I ordered the shrimp taco salad and my daughter ordered the traditional taco salad. The shrimp salad comes with a generous portion of grilled shrimp, grilled onions and peppers - like a fajita. The shrimp were plump with a hint of lime. They were perfectly cooked and tasted fresh. The salad was filling and the tortilla shell bowl was crispy and tasty. My daughter enjoyed her salad as well. The salads were $11 each. The restaurant is in a newer strip mall. The dining room is clean and decorated typical mid western Mexican - I wouldn't say upscale. There is plenty of parking in the strip mall They offer lunch specials Monday - Saturday. Good experience. I'll be back.

This is not a place to travel to, but if in the area... gets the job done of a quick, filling dinner. Arroz con Pollo was about $16, and came with a side of tortillas. It was cheesy and filling. I would get the tilapia fish tacos again. It was about $13 and came with a nice spicy sauce, just a basic street taco with cilantro and onion. The chips were nice and thick, salsa came in individual ramekins.

    Hot & Spicy Burrito

I'm always up for some 'authentic' Mexican, so when I was on the northside with some friends, this was an easy decision to try for dinner. It was fairly busy on a Saturday night, but we easily found an open table at the bar. We were immediately brought the usual chips and salsa that is customary at most Mexican restaurants. However, at this restaurant each of us was given our own personal bowl of salsa, which was nice. The drink special of the night was a 32 oz Coors light for $4.75. They also have several types of margaritas and other beer options. The menu had multiple different entree options -- all the usual finds. I ended up getting the "hot & spicy burrito" which was a burrito stuffed with chicken, beans and rice with shredded beef, salsa and cheese on top. The burrito was huge, and I was full after eating half of it. It was also quite flavorful and paired well with the complimentary chips and salsa. Although I enjoyed it, I would definitely want to try one of the other entrees when I come back. On the back of the menu, they also had lunch specials (see picture), which would be a nice option for those that work in the area. Fun fact: 'toro' means 'bull' in Spanish!

Hate to say this will be my last time here. Food is good. Service is good. But this time, the actual first time I looked at my check before I paid. I noticed the prices on the menu are, in my case, 20% lower than what I was charged. My chorizo and eggs, the same thing I order every Sunday I come here, is now $12.99. I'm fine with the increase in prices I understand now days. It's the fact no one said anything about it and now I think back to all of the times I did not look at my check because I was with a group or other and I wonder if those prices were also inflated. This is the first time I came to brunch by myself and for some reason I looked at the check this time. I did bring it up to the cashier and they did say they would let the manager know. I still paid what was on my check. Because it's not about the $2. It's about the principal. All I am saying is double check your check before you pay.

Loves this restaurant. The staff was so friendly and efficient. No wait at all. Good safety as well. Food was great and oh my was so large. Had a spicy burrito and took half home. Come and support this great place to eat.

I was impressed with how quickly they were able to seat us despite it being so busy in a Saturday night. We managed to snag the only available table out there. Score! They were able to accommodate my request to make substitutions to my enchiladas. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the overall experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Service was slow and the food was just okay, but what really bothered me was the way gratuity was handled. I was with a party of eight, and I completely understand an automatic 18% gratuity for larger parties. The problem is that the gratuity was not shown on the paper check we were given before paying. My check showed a total in the $60s. The server then took my card and processed it on the handheld device she was holding. I was presented with the option to select a tip, so I selected 20%, believing I was tipping 20% on the total shown on my paper check. It wasn't until the very end that my total suddenly showed $92. Once several people in our group noticed the same discrepancy, we asked about it and learned that an 18% gratuity had already been added. We had essentially tipped on top of an automatic gratuity without realizing it. To their credit, they refunded the additional tips when we asked. What bothered me most was when we asked why the automatic gratuity wasn't included on the paper check, and our waitress responded, 'because some people don't tip.' An automatic gratuity for a large party is perfectly reasonable, but customers should be clearly told about it and should be able to see their actual total, including the gratuity, before their card is processed and they're prompted to add another tip. Unfortunately, this also wasn't my first uncomfortable experience here. The first time I visited with my family, while we were still eating, a staff member asked if they could take the chair my son was sitting in to use at another table. Yes--he was literally still sitting in it. We were so surprised by the request that we asked for our bill and left. I only returned last night because it was a girls' night and someone else had made the reservation. After this experience, I won't be returning again. If you dine here with a larger party, I would strongly recommend checking whether gratuity has already been added before selecting an additional tip.

I came across this food truck at Sagara international food event…read more I was intrigued by the fusion of Indian and Mexican food. I tried the lamb, the veggie and the chicken tacos on corn tortilla instead of Naan. They each had cilantro and onions but the meat and veggies were Indian flavor. I preferred the chicken, then the lamb and the veggie came in last. I would have put more of the sauce on them but it was hard to walk and stand and eat as it was and didn't want the tortilla to get soggy, but the lamb needed it most. It was interesting. I would try again, especially the chicken and I would like to try on the Naan next time and use all the sauce they provided for the lamb.

The service was friendly and knowledgeable, and they were happy to explain the menu and make recommendations. There are great vegetarian and vegan options, which we really appreciated. A cool touch is that you can bring your own chips for the walking tacos. Since they're a truck, you'll want to check their social media to see where they'll be and when (we found them outside Patel Brothers in Castleton). They do a lot of events and aren't always in one spot, but they shared that one of their New Year goals is opening a brick-and-mortar location, which would be amazing. Definitely worth tracking down!
