I wanted to try something new to eat so I decided to go to The Tradewinds Pub this afternoon for lunch. As soon as I stepped in the door, I was already admiring the decor. This place has the same vibe as the Jungle Cruise ride at Disneyland. I loved the music, the ambiance, the style, and the colorful lighting. I tried the Tradewinds club and it was absolutely delicious. The menu is very versatile from sandwiches, burgers, soups, salads, fries, brunch, and fun deserts. The service was the best service I've had in the Central Valley. I was treated with the upmost respect, kindness, and friendliness. Do yourself a favor and try the sweet potato fries. Overall: The service needs a little work, but they knocked it out of the park in terms of theme and food/drinks. This is such a unique experience and I'm really glad to have it in R town. Atmosphere: Every inch (except the bathrooms) is themed as a safari/jungle. There are elements of Disney's Adventureland as well as the Rainforest Cafe while still maintaining the Pub at its core. There are literally animatronic monkeys swinging from ropes and vines on the ceiling. If you saw a video of the interior you would think this was a restaurant in Vegas or New York City, not downtown Reedley. Food and Drink: My husband and I had the miso salmon, burger, Mac and cheese, lobster bisque, IPA, and a vodka lemonade I can't remember the name of. All were fantastic! The miso salmon was really amazing. Service: I try not to judge a whole restaurant based on one server but ours was not amazing. She didn't write down the orders which of course resulted in my husband not getting his soup until we asked about it. We waited about 30 minutes for our food because she said someone else accidentally took our burger to another table. We decided to visit on 6/30/24. I'll start out by saying the atmosphere was fun and it was nice and cool as the AC was kicked down pretty low which was refreshing on a 100+ temp day. The live music was really enjoyable and not so loud that you couldn't hold a conversation. Our waitress was nice however she failed to mention when she gave us the menus that on Sundays they only serve 3 of their burgers and only items off of the brunch menu. The food was disappointing. There were 3 of us and one had the Polynesian Pub burger which in the description reads that there is a slice of pineapple on it, unfortunately the pineapple was half the size of the burger patty and you didn't get to taste it until you were halfway through the burger. The other 2 of us ordered the Allies Burger which in the description states that there is English Coastal Cheddar and roasted garlic French onion jam on it - there were 3 "chunks" of cheese and a teaspoon of French onion jam on them. I will say that the fries were good though. All in all, we would have rather sat in a hot restaurant, with bare walls and no music that had great burgers than what we experienced during our visit. Maybe we went on an "off" day, but I know it will be a while before we try it again. We had a large group gathering for a Birthday celebration what a fun atmosphere there was. I love the decor and overall ambiance here. The food was amazing. The portions were very generous. I recommend the Brussel sprouts appetizer and any of the tacos. The staff is super friendly and they had karaoke that night too. The broccoli side was barely warm, not steamed, and the mixed veggies was mostly broccoli as well. Service was absolutely awful! Two of our 6 person party had empty water cups for a while. One of us finally got up to ask for more. Our server was constantly just standing at the POS system and never even rang in one of our parties food....it was a salad....she never noticed. We had to go get her and let her know that she had forgotten someone's dinner. Took another 10 minutes for that to come out. She never came back to check on us throughout the whole meal. The only time she came back was to give us the check. I will say the restaurant was full, but there was a decent amount of staff. I have visited this new establishment numerous times. I have yet to be disappointed. Thus far, I have ordered the Chicken Marsala plate. The chicken was made perfect with their mashed potatoes and vegetable medley. I have also had their French Dip Sandwich, multiple times. On both occasions, the meat was perfectly made, nice and tender. On one order I had the fries. The second order, I tried the Mac-N-Cheese. You really can't go wrong with fries and it was delicious, but the Mac-n-Cheese is a must have. The last dinner I had was for Father's Day. The Instagram post advertising their steak lured me back in. The steak was perfectly made as I requested. The vegetable were great as well. If you like desserts, I highly recommend the bread pudding, it was scrumptious. The service was great with each server I encountered. The staff is friendly as well. On each visit, I ordered beer to specialized drinks. One thing I did notice that the selection of beers rotate, in my opinion, that is a good idea, especially once they had Firestone DBA on tap, oh boy. Be mindful, this establishment takes pride in making their craft cocktails. If it's a busy night, there can be a delay. It appears that their craft cocktails is what is ordered majority of the time, so be patient. With each visit, the restaurant is clean and lively. It has a good atmosphere feel to it and it reminds me being at Disneyland themed restaurant. Leading to the weekends, you will have DJ music on a Friday night and a live local bands on Saturday. I come from Clovis to visit The Tradewinds Pub. It is worth the drive to get away. read more

I learned about this spot from an Instagram reel and thought we'd check it out to celebrate a friends birthday. Plus who doesn't love a good brunch spot?! I made reservations for 11, but we weren't actually seated until 11:30 or so. They're open at 10 on the weekends although when you google it says they don't open until 11. The waitresses were a bit slow but I had read that in other reviews, so I was prepared for a long leisurely brunch. We ordered a mimosa flight. The bartender let us pick which juice flavors we wanted (4) or he would pick, whichever you preferred. And I ordered the mudslide. It was good, but very strong! The table ordered eggs Benedict- good flavor, thick English muffin, but just used regular ham lunchmeat, nothing fancy or hand carved. The bang bang shrimp eggs Benedict- she thought they were delicious but the English muffin was too thick and not crispy enough for her. Avocado toast- they really liked everything about this dish. The feta cheese, tomatoes, avocado and crusty bread. It came with fresh fruit on the side that was really sweet and delicious. The tradewinds toast- had a really good flavor. Peanut crunchy topping and the syrup was supposed to be made with peanut, coconut and honey but there was no sign of coconut anywhere. Even without it, it was still very tasty. Homemade whipped cream served with fresh strawberries and basil. The monkey decor was fun and came alive every hour and made the lights flicker. And while we were there someone across the restaurant ordered a giant Moscow mule. All the sudden, as it was presented to them, the Russian national anthem blares through the speakers. To be honest fish n chips was tasteless the coleslaw has an asian taste and for the price and the draft beer was 9 dollar plus fees. To tell you the truth i would just go elsewhere avoid this place. Delicious food in a fun atmosphere. The onion rings are thick and meaty with a light panko crust and come with a chipotle aioli that is TDF. We have come back just for those 3 times! Other things I'd recommend is the prime rib French Dip - generous amounts of super tender beef, the aus jus isn't overly salty, and it's served on a baguette. The chicken on the Buffalo Chicken salad is sooo tender, and the sauce isn't too hot. The bed of lettuce it was on was super fresh, some kind of spring mix, but nicer than the kind you find in grocery stores. The fun part (well the food is definitely fun , too) is the decor from around the world: thoughtfully selected, beautiful things to look at. Every 1/2 hour or hour, the monkeys shriek like you are at the zoo (you will just have to go there to see what I mean by "the monkeys". Haha. I saw this place on instagram a while back and have been wanting to check it out. Since I had to work in the area today, it was the perfect timing to catch up with friends over some good food and drinks. Our bartender was great! I tried their pineapple coconut crème margaritas and a mojito and they were both very refreshing! That pineapple coconut crème margarita was not too sweet and would definitely be a nice drink to enjoy poolside or on a nice sunny day - not too sweet at all. The mojito was pretty good as well, nice and refreshing. Let's talk about their food, that jam in the burger *chef's kiss* amazing!!!! The truffle fries paired quite well with it. Now onto their vibes.... Every once a while you hear the screeching sound of monkeys and have the light flickering and butterflies flapping their wings away. Definitely fun and unique!
