I've had their chicken salad sandwich, their pastrami sandwich, pasta salad, potato salad, and their clam chowder so far. Impressed, tasty! Good-hearted people overall -- as an example this young girl walked in asking to purchased toasted bread with butter only, as it was for her sister with a stomach ache, the owner instead asked if it'd be ok to provide/make a toasted bread, slightly burnt without butter so that it could help her sister out, and mentioned that is a common/suggested fix when dealing with upset stomach, the girl accepted. The plates are perfectly portioned and uniquely dressed with color and presentation. The staff that runs the shop is friendly, unique and pays attention to detail. They offer lunch specials hot and cold sandwiches, homemade sides, and deserts. If it is your first time make sure to let the staff know. They give you the option to try a small portions of different sides with your meal so that you know what to order next time. Although there is parking located around the shop, the price is $2 an hour to park and please make sure to pay because the meter maids are very active in downtown Riverside. Bathrooms are not located inside the sandwich shop and seating inside is extremely limited. There is an insid section right next to the sandwich shop to which all the businesses share that has a patio setting and there is seating in the front patio. They have a fridge with different craft and regular sodas and also regular fountain sodas and freshly brewed iced tea. If you purchase a craft soda, you'll get a cup with ice and you can still get free refills from the fountain drinks after you finish your craft soda. They also have different soups on different days. Not sure which one is on what day, but the poblano cheese soup is delicious! They also have fresh brownies and cookies. I always have to indulge a little bit and get their fudgy brownie! It's very small inside, but they have a small patio and more tables on the other side next to the cupcake place.
