So I've used ups for a long time and I've never had a store charge me $1.50 for an email, so essentially this guy was going to charge me a dollar fifty to print out a UPS label. It was already paid for but he said I had to send him an email and be charged for a dollar fifty and then he would charge me for the printing and then he would send it off. All the other UPS stores that I've ever been to I just tell them that I need this printed to send it off and they print it right there and we're done. This guy wants an email and he wants his dollar 50 for it. And this guy right away raised his voice and started yelling. Completely unprofessional. read more

They always give me a hard time when I ask for a receipt after dropping off my packages. Last time the guy told me to just look up the tracking number online because if they are busy, they wont be able to give me a receipt. Well, most of the times I've been there, there are no customers and it only takes 2 seconds to scan my package and print a receipt. Also, I come to this location since they are supposed to be open at 830AM (others open at 9am), but most of the times I've been there before 9AM, they are still closed. This place is terrible. I was helped by the "owner or manager" of this store and his service was terrible. Repeatedly told me that he couldn't do anything until I gave him the barcode AFTER I told him I was pulling it up on my phone. After a 10 minute rude conversation about cell phone reception and how it works, he told me that he was going to charge me a dollar to put tape on the box (sure I don't care. It's $1....). After he put the tape on it he basically DROPPED it on the ground!! Aside from the fact that it was a COMPUTER MONITOR, I don't think anyone should DROP the package on the ground. I went to a different UPS store after this to not give this guy anymore of my business and they said that they had heard the horror stories of this guy. I work customer service at a business close by. Let me start with saying if I could give 0 stars I would. After readying reviews, I wish I would have done so prior to using the store. The man working didn't seem to like helping me figure out a printing problem. He kept saying "that will cost you extra" when I needed help, or when I wanted to upgrade the paper. I always replied with "no problem that's totally fine, I plan on paying". By the end of it, he ripped up the paper in front of my face and told me to leave and never come back. The guy who worked on Friday, June 21st just took my Amazon return items. He said he scanned it, but he refused to give me a receipt that items have been returned. He argued with me in a presence of 3 other people, standing in line, telling me how Amazon has changed their policy and now they don't give you receipt of your returns. WHAT?!!! He hasn't printed any label to put it on a packaging either. Since yesterday I keep checking on refund on Amazon for the items returned, but Amazon hasn't acknowledged completion of return on my side as Amazon usually does the same second the barcode is scanned by email notification. How would I prove Amazon that I have returned the stuff and it seems like that guy just took it. It's a theft. This past week I was expecting a pkg. from Amazon. I was told it had been delivered, yet we had not received it. The next day, hubby made it out to get the newspaper and discovered it had been left at a door we don't use-- right by the street-- lucky it hadn't been stolen! UPS has been told in the past that packages should be left at one of two doors. I'm on a walker and there was no way I could have gotten it. Hubby now uses a lot of oxygen and it was difficult for him. When he exerts himself that much his lips turn purple and he must sit and rest for quite some time. UPS has never paid much attention to our delivery requests- never made sure we could get it into the house without a struggle. Because UPS doesn't care about how we need delivery, I must stop shopping for things that will be delivered by truck. This makes me sad and very angry. read more

I wish I would have read the reviews prior to coming here. I took a package in there and the owner (assuming he was owner) was extremely rude it took 30 minutes to get an email sent to them because he was being audited at that given time. I ended up leaving withour a receipt, my mistake. I returned to the store to ask where my package was and he sent me to the post office, after checking the shipping number the post office never received it. Which means he is either a thief or just does his job poorly. It is apparent he is rude based on the reviews. I am not done yet. I will file a complaint. Please be careful at this store. Probably the rudest and most condescending person I have ever interacted with was working behind the counter. Possibly the owner? I brought in an Info Notice left by a UPS driver saying that I could pick my package up at that store location. I had tracked my package online... It also listed that store under "pick up location." There was some conflicting information on the tracking website and it turns out the package is at the distribution center. But in any case the guy kept telling me "No, you are wrong! Wrong again!" when I said it showed the store as the pickup point. Ok, how about having a little bit of customer service and explaining the issue nicely instead of basically telling me I'm stupid for going there. I came to make a UPS return. Because I was in the process of opening the scanned return order, but it was not yet opened, he walked away within 2 seconds and began packaging items. It was open a second later. A couple minutes later he said to let him know when I was ready. I told him that his actions were rude. He responded that this was a free service and he would not wait. My wife quit going there some time ago because of how rude he was. The fact that he looks and sounds Middle Eastern is not an issue at all. He's rude. I'm a businessman too. The man who runs the counter (pictured by another reviewer) refuses to give a receipt. This is my 3rd time shipping through this store and all 3 times I was not provided with a receipt. I had to return a cell phone and wanted proof of shipping. I explained I needed to have proof that I shipped it and he still refused to provide it. He told me that a tracking number should suffice. When my cell phone company contacted me to let me know it had not yet been received, and I would be charged over $500 for my cell phone if it didn't arrive soon, I was nervous because I had zero dated proof of shipping. Thankfully the cell phone did arrive, but I would have felt a lot more assured if he would have been willing to give me a receipt. read more

The older gentleman behind the counter (same one in the photo in another review) is very grumpy. I stood in line with one person in front of me for 10 minutes and he made no attempt to speed things up. Never said Thank you to the other customer. The UPS driver came in at 5:05 pm and he ranted at her about her being early and she shouldn't be there for the pickup because he was not ready. The driver was more patient than I would've been. I finally got to the counter for a Xfinity return and he barked that only the postage was pre-paid and that I would have to purchase a box and packing from him. Not a chance would I give this guy a dime. I left. I went to this place a few years ago and had the same poor experience. A lousy attitude and the place is a dump. This UPS store is HORRIBLE! The clerk is very rude! He was on what sounded like a personal phone call when a young lady walked in. As she was shopping he asked if she was shipping or picking up. I needed to mail my BFF's bday present so I found this store on line. Saw the horrible reviews and thought "how strange". Walked in, it was clean, girl at counter was nice and I got waited on right away. Handed her a 3 lb box that I was guessing would be about $7-10, based on my years of experience shipping UPS from my former employer. She quoted me $34 for ground, then said it would be $89 by regular USPS. WTF? I took my package and left, knowing that their mark up is horrendous. Drove to USPS. My package cost $20.40 via 2-day air. That makes their mark up over 4 TIMES. Never returning based on the cost alone. read more

Not very helpful and a little on the rude side. They lectured me on where to place boxes when I come in. I figured they would have to weight it so I placed it on their scale right next to the register. I got lectured like a 6 year old on how EXPENSIVE the scale is. So I moved my box onto the counter. Then what did they do? They moved it onto the scale. Suggestion: if you dont want people to put items on the scale, post a sign or move your scale off the front counter. Also, what is the deal with the box prices? There is at least a 3-400% markup from what I can get on ebay or at walmart. I get that they have to make a profit on things like that but I feel that they are pricing to gouge customers who walk in with an item and dont want to have to go to walmart or other location to buy their box. This place does not use its sign light unlike its neighbors, so at night its very easy to believe the corner is apart of one or the other since the store is so tiny in the corner. Online it says they are open till 6pm on saturdays on the glass its hours state till 6pm. However after driving around for over a hour trying to locate it, it turns out they usually close around 430 on any given day. read more

This was the worst customer service I have ever recieved. I was having something notarized. They did not tell me it was $10 PER SIGNATURE! It is hanging behind the counter, in 10pt font. Now, this is LEGAL, but it is horrible customer service. I will never go back in here. I have 20/20 vision, and could not read the sign. Once they sign the documents, I couldnt do anything but pay. I sent an email 3 days before going to make sure that they would have a notary available. The response said yes, someone would be there all day as all of the employees were notaries. I arrived 10 minutes after the store was supposed to open, and found it still closed. We waited a bit longer than went to a different store (that's a whole different review!) I called this place back an hour after their posted opening time and still no response. I continued to call other places for a Notary and accidentally called back to this location. They were finally open almost 1.5 hours after their posted times. He didn't speak much to us as helped us - eventually we found out he was on the phone with his tech support - he was carrying the phone around while he helped us. That in and of itself wasn't bad, but the rest of the experience has me rethinking ever using a UPS store anywhere again. read more

Initially, he tried to charge me to package my return, and was not helpful when I asked for information on how to package it myself to save the charges. The only reason I'm rating this location 1 star is because of the employee I encountered. It started out with trying to find a FedEx location that could print a label and ship something back to a retailer for me. The FedEx website I was on had a Covington address I tried first but there was nothing there. I went to this location per the website and obviously it's not FedEx but this is where the website directed me. I wish I would've gotten his name (dark skin Indian guy) was very unfriendly and treated me like I was dumb, thanks! I won't be doing service at this UPS Store again. The owner/manager (same person as the picture on the yelp profile for this company) was very short and rude to each of the five customers (including myself) that were there within the 10 minutes I spent in the place. I was returning four separate boxes to Amazon but didn't have packing tape at home. He wanted to charge me $1 per box. Not a huge deal, but when I mentioned that it was strange that no other UPS store had ever charged me for that his response was "This is my store and that's my policy. Many customers are upset about it, but you're welcome to go somewhere else." I had somewhere else I needed to be so I just bought a roll of packing tape, taped up the boxes and handed them to him. He eventually handed me two receipts with tracking numbers. I asked if there were two others since I was mailing four boxes and his short rude and obviously annoyed response was "YES! It's right there!!" as he pointed to the receipt where I hadn't noticed three tracking numbers were on one receipt. My wife has shipped many items via this store but we won't be doing business there any longer due to the owners terrible customer service, not just with me but that I also observed with the other customers in the store. He obviously doesn't care about his customers so he clearly won't care about handling your packages or using care with them. read more

What a horrible horrible experience. The "owner" (he kept saying "my store") was rude. we got price gouged and when we questioned him he got increasingly rude. I asked to insure a parcel, he told me I had to buy a new box, so I did, then charged me more than DOUBLE what it should have cost (we knew what it cost to ship it out to Washington, so it should have been the same home). He told me my package weighed 30lbs (I could see the scale it weighed 17lbs) and when I asked he got mad. then he charged me 3-day "select" and I literally just got my package over 7 days later.
