I typically schedule UPS pick-ups but on a few occasions, I have had to drop off packages at this store. Each time, I was greeted by friendly and professional employees who really wanted to help. Today, I dropped off a time sensitive package and requested saturday delivery. The associate's name was Delen or Gelen (I only glanced at his name tag) and he made the entire process so easy and even suggested on how I can better secure the contents inside the shipping box. He also extended a AAA discount - sometimes I feel that vendors forget to or care to tell you about the AAA discounts. read more

DO NOT come here for passport photos. They take poorly-lit photos in the store's back corner, and then crop them incorrectly so they would be rejected by US Passport Services. By the time you receive the rejection notice it's already months after they're taken, and they also don't offer refunds on their mistakes, costing you both money AND time. Just got finished being assisted by Dominic and wow what a great experience! He was not only accommodating quick and professional but also asked me how my day was going which I had told him I was going to a concert with my wife to enjoy a date night. He was very efficient and helping me return some items. Also explain to me the tracking numbers and when the packages would arrive. Overall I would never expect this level of service at a standard UPS store but he went above and beyond to make me feel valued as a customer. I'm a small online business owner so I ship out packages here and there. I come to this UPS store about once a week and I can say with all sincerity that Dominic is one of the nicest and friendliest people I have ever encountered. I used to use FedEx because they were a few dollars cheaper for me but quite frankly I quit going there because their staff was never friendly and overall Dominic always made my day brighter just from our 1 minute conversations during drop off. I've used this location for a few years, and only put up with the rudeness of a certain indivual due to the convenience of the location. Never again. From now on I'll go out of my way to not have to deal with Deborah (or Debra?), the middle aged Native American woman that has been mentioned several times in the reviews here for her bad moods. So because others have mentioned her too, I finally see that it's not just "me" who she doesn't like. I've never given her a valid reason to dislike me as a customer. Occasionally when I'm in there, she'll say hi to customers who she knows, and is extremely friendly to them. Then back to her same old attitude toward me and others. She only greets certain people when they come in, and others she just looks up from the back desk with a scowl on her face. Why the attitude toward some and not others is really strange behavior, not to mention unprofessional. Last week when I was there, she was literally yelling on the phone right there in full view. It was a business phone call she was on, but still... even if the person she was talking to was incompetent, it's not okay to have customers in the store subjected to it regardless. Then today she barked at me to have patience for being concerned and wondering why their public computer was so slow. It took literally 20 (that's twenty!!) minutes to boot up, get into my email, and print one document. Of course I was being charged a fee by the minute. I used to think she was the owner. Now that I know she's not, I hope the owner of the store is aware of her behavior, and realizes he's losing a customer(s) because of it. read more

I did not know about this place until I finally had to send a package out via UPS. I've always had great service here. The men there and young girl are on top of their game, in and out and always with a smile. Now that's great customer service. ...I would rate this a five star but... Although one day I came into the store and there was a line, I was like, "What" I have never been here when there was a line out the door with 2hrs left before they close, like always. Hmmmm Behind the cash register was an older woman not giving a rats ass, moving quite slow, no customer service skills, prolly has health issues and needs to either retire or stay away from customers and let her young and energetic workers get the job done. If I knew this ladies schedule I would make sure I don't go here during those times. Sorry lady, smiling doesn't hurt you should try it sometime. Horrid. Ridiculous. Unprofessional. Just a few words to describe my recent experience at the UPS store.... Backstory. I've had to go into this location a few times and normally the experience is acceptable enough that I wouldn't take the time to write a review. Uh, well my last experience (and it will be my last experience) at this store was TERRIBLE. I had to return a package and had a return shipping label from the company. I took the open box and the shipping label into the UPS store (per the company's direction). I walk in and there are two women behind the counter. One is older and has long hair and one was younger. The younger one was behind the register so I explained that I needed to return the package and handed her the return label. She points out the box is untaped (thanks capt'n obvious!!!) and tells me it's going to be $1 for her to tape it. I look at her a little incredulously and ask "Seriously?" she said yes, the service fee for taping a box was $1. So I told her to just give me the tape and I would tape it and the long haired older woman snapped LOUDLY "WE can't let YOU use the tape gun". Ummm ok. I didn't need you to snap NOR yell at me, thanks. So I paid the $1 (what choice did I have at this point?) and watched the slowest employee ever tape my box closed and then put the shipping label on the front. I was fuming and the woman sitting to the side glaring at me did not help my mood. I can GUARANTEE that I won't be back. read more

ZERO stars. A package HAD to be postmarked via UPS by Saturday or else I would lose quite a bit of money. I called this location Friday because I was going to be in Buena Park to pick up a friend that morning and we would not be back until that evening at the latest and I knew most likely they would be closed before then. I also read the good reviews on Yelp, which I always check before going to a new place (time is money, friends.) I could have taken care of this before I got to my friend's house but three people giving five stars can't be wrong, right? WRONG. Anyway, the hours on the voicemail said they were open at 9 a.m. so I drove all the way out from Burbank and arrived to a dark and locked UPS store. It was 9:24 a.m. and a printed sign let customers know that due to the holiday, they would only be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and of course not on Monday. Not a soul was in there, so I waited impatiently for several minutes, then called the number in my phone back. I got the voicemail again, friendly as it was, and left a message, asking them to PLEASE call me when somebody arrived, because I really had to get this package out today. I would have come back. But nobody ever called. Bottom line: I will NEVER utilize this business. I'm sure it's great when people are actually THERE, but they have to show up to work first. It would have been okay if somebody had called me back, but that just adds to the "I don't give a shi*" attitude so many people have about their jobs, and other people. Fail. read more

Hands down, the BEST mailing store in the neighborhood! I LOVE this UPS store! The staffers are always ready and willing to help. They are courteous, kind, and knowledgeable. They have also helped me carry big boxes to and from my car, they would also re-tape my flimsy little boxes and envelopes to make sure my packages are properly delivered to their new destinations. They are just beyond helpful and professional. Aside from mailing services, they also offer mailboxes for rent. I have a mailbox elsewhere but plan on switching just so I can come to this UPS store. Closest UPS in my vicinity so they get default points for convenience. Recently, I found out they also do Live Scan for $69. The cost breakdown is: $32 for Department of Justice + $17 for Federal Bureau of Investigation + $20 service fee for UPS. It is costly, but the DOJ and FBI fees are standard across the board, and service fees for other facilities range from $10-30. Naturally, I opted for a median price that didn't require me to commute. Deborah (Whom I presume is the manager at this location? She also answered the phone when I inquired about Live Scan services.) was super nice, but the process was a bit laborious for me since there was another Live Scan customer before me and the machine required multiple takes to read my fingerprints. Overall, the UPS for Live Scan is convenient but not my textbook definition of quick. Will do to get the job done. read more

Very lazy & incompetent!! I had a package that had to be returned to the sender. The sender told me to drop it at a UPS Store. When I took in my package, the woman flatly told me she couldn't help me, even though I explained everything to her. (I contacted the company and they said their UPS person wasn't sure why I had encountered a problem.) I took the package to the South St. UPS Store (by Ralph's), fully prepared to have to pay to ship it back. (I just didn't want to return to the Lincoln store because of that rude woman.) I walked in and the South St. employee saw the "Return to Sender" still marked on the box, scanned the original barcode, printed me a verification receipt, and I was on my way in less than two minutes. read more

I've been to this location before and had no issues here. I used to work at a UPS Store for over a year and just left recently. They tried to charge me $2 for a UPS clear plastic protector for labels. These protectors are NOT to be sold, so I don't know why the guy was going to charge me for this. I rented a box in December for short term as I was in the process of moving and reupped for another three months. Chris was wonderful, did notary work for me for my escrow and set me up with a box. When I relocated out of area I came into town on a Sunday only to find the store locked so I couldn't get my mail. The next time I came into town, I asked for (1) an additional key and (2) a door key. I was promised both, but the manager did not approve the second key and told me that the door keys were only given to people who rented for a year, which is ridiculous - my box costs the same - I should have the same access. When I tried to explain the situation it was like talking to a brick wall. More recently, I had meds sent to the box as I had done in the past. When I went down to pick them up, the package wasn't there even though my pharmacy said it had mailed them a week before. After I got home I again checked with the pharmacy and they had a date and time when they had been delivered. I called the store, spoke with Jess who was beyond rude. I asked for the manager, she wasn't there, asked for her name, Debra (or something) and she refused to give me her last name, because according to Jess there's only one person with that name and they don't give out her last name. To make matters worse on April 29 2016, May 9 and May 14, 2016 I requested by email information and forms to file a claim - I haven't received the courtesy of a reply. Bottom line, get a box at the U.S. Post Office, this place sucks. Except for Chris - someone else needs to hire him because he would be an asset. BTW, I got a box in another town and they automatically gave me a door key so I could get in after hours and on Sunday AND asked if I needed a second key. I've seen the owner reply to 5 star reviews, let's see if he replies to this one. EDIT: I tried calling this morning to find out why my mail hadn't been forwarded since I didn't renew my box. After being on hold for 7 minutes (yes, I timed it), someone finally picked up the phone and when I asked for Christ, hung up on me. I immediately called back and told the same gal that I didn't appreciate being hung up on. I guess she didn't think I would call back. So glad I don't have to deal with them any longer, but where the heck is my mail? Bottom line, I wish I could give them negative stars because they don't even deserve the one. read more

Oh well it seems a short lady native Indian lady was in a bad mood today. Spoke to her asking for a estimate price to ship a police jacket. She requested for a zip so I first randomly selected a zip. But shortly after my contact texted me the correct one. So I returned to the counter and asked politely to check this correct zip. Wow what a change in attitude. Was sharp telling me to fill out a shipping paper. I asked her again just a estimate is fine. She again tells me to fill out the form. Wow she totally forgot that she just helped me a a few minutes ago. Plus it would be quick. Well I insisted just check the zip and she semi relented. But gave me a price...
