I also told him that he needed to be professional since his working and him discussing what he said to another employee shows there's no professionalism in this facility. As an owner of the business Gus did nothing and he just stood there and watch. I asked Narciso for the corporates number in respond he told me he did not have the corporates number , he did not know it and he does not need to know it either. Gus who is the owner did nothing until I read his badge stating his the owner and I told him how no one have the corporate number only then he provided me with Narciso business card and he wrote the corporates number. By the way the person responded to my review shows how lack of professionalism this person is as well. You guys don't know how to resolve any problems instead you protect and cover each other up. The fact that you mention other customers involvement who's not involve shows a lot. You can show the footage of the video if you have one to the corporate so they can watch it and better guide you as a business owner of how to handle situations and how to solve any issue instead of creating more issue. I've been to this store many times but yesterday stood out to me. Now I don't know his name, but koji is the reason why this day stood out to me. His performance was the most/best mediocre service I have ever experienced. I understand that not all of us are meant to be great and this employee, Koji, is exactly that. This store is a nightmare. Discombobulated mess where packages are continuously lost and employees are rude and act like they have no clue how to do their job. I am a box holder here and this is my third complaint to corporate in 4 months. Most of the staff is rude and unprofessional. Packages are consistently "lost", either not being scanned in the system or being scanned as picked up when the package hasn't been taken by the customer. Today "Ty" handed me packages without cross checking them against the slip and then didn't bother to have me sign for them. He told me in a rude tone "you have a lot of packages, I wasn't expecting all this. I can't find one of your packages. You probably already picked it up. Or maybe someone else scanned it incorrectly". I stated that this was a chronic problem at this store and I would call corporate again. His sarcastic cavalier response was "Go ahead, they won't do anything about it anyway." I absolutely can not recommend this store. The staff largely seems either not trained properly or maybe they just don't care about the customer or the job that they're paid to do. The UPS business model in part is the handling of packages. These guys ripped me off. Amazon.com told me that for $0 I can drop off my package at UPS. All I would have to do is give them the scan code and they'll deliver. These guys charged me $8 for a box. Otherwise they wouldn't ship it. For $6 dollars I could have had a different carrier come and pick it up from my doorstep. I didn't select that option because this option was supposed to be FREE. As a business owner, I've used this franchise location for over 16 months with an average of 10-15 Next Day Air shipments every few months. First two visits, the staff would help me place the items in the Next Day Air envelopes as I was quickly out the door. Over the past 9 months, they hand me the envelopes and clear inserts in having me prepare all of my packages. Today, the WORST. I was told if I had more than 10 Next day air packages, I need to visit the central UPS location and not the store. They don't have the envelopes for Next Day Air packages but they have extra in the back. I guess not for my usage. Isn't their primary business, shipping? This is the first UPS store I've been in that was so unwilling to help. I had a return and Amazon provided the QR code for it. Amazon now has an option to just provide them the item without it because packed and no label necessary either because they'll print it for you. When I went, I provided the QR code and the rep said it printed a label, not a consolidation label (whatever that is) so the package needs to be ready to go and they'll just stick the label on. So I let him know that I chose the option of not needing it packed. I repeated myself twice. I had an envelope with me when I went to this store, the original envelope that the package came in. What really bothered me was that when I went to another UPS store the next day, I gave them the QR code and explained that I had selected the no package needed, just the item...I had shipping tape with me and the envelope it came with...the UPS store I visited (definitely NOT this one) offered to actually just tape it for me so I won't have to open the brand new tape I bought. This is what customer service is like. This UPS store though, they didn't bother offering such service even though I'm sure they could have easily just offered me tape. They didn't want anything to do with the package. I don't know if that's lack of customer service...lack of training...lazy employees...or all of the above. Just like I told them, it was a waste of time coming here. I would rather drive the extra 20 minutes to be greeted and served properly than drive to this one. read more

Super disappointed with the way I was treated over the phone at this location. Super condescending to me about an issue that was entirely their fault. Brought a MASSIVE and very heavy mirror for an Amazon return. Paid $6 to return this, drive and haul it there myself. The guy that helped me out printed out my label and said "youre good to go"!" so we left. The next day, today.... it arrives at my door because the guy who printed that label didnt place it over the OLD label... like they usually do. It was such a heavy object, I didnt think of removing the old label myself but at any UPS/Fedex/etc ive been to they always do a once over check for old labels. Easy drop off on a pre-paid package to Nike. Was in and out of there in less than 20 seconds tops. Again, I was just dropping off a box that was already paid for on a return shipment. Good to know there's a UPS store nearby with easy parking in a spacious lot. I guess I was lucky cause I went here around 10am. Probably a slow time for them. But nevertheless, the guy behind the counter was friendly. I walked in, he greeted me and asked that I just set down the box on the scale and that I was good to go. I asked if there was some sort of receipt confirmation and he just said track it with the number that was emailed to me as part of the return label. I walked two miles to this location to pick up a package that my father sent to me as a gift from Massachusetts. I was very disappointed because I was unable to get my package. It was under my father's name. According to my father, he purchased the item using his Best Buy card and was unable to change the name, however, he DID designate me as an authorized pick up person. I had my ID and all of the delivery and tracking information required, but I was told by the employee that this particular location does not accept authorized pick up people!? He told me that my father had to physically be there to pick up the package himself since it was his name attached to it, even though he happened to be the sender in this case! They did not accept a photo of my father's ID either. My father and I both called UPS customer service to see if it was possible to either change the name on the package or have it rerouted to another location. They told me it was not possible. My father ended up cancelling the entire order and getting a refund from Best Buy. I called a different UPS store in Burbank, and they told me that I could have picked it up there as an authorized pick up person. However, I was paranoid that I would run into the same problem so I re-ordered the item for myself with my own credit card and sent it to a different location. I don't understand why this UPS store does not allow authorized pick up people to pick up a package on behalf of someone else. Now I have to wait 9 more days to receive something that I was looking forward to receiving today. I do want to mention that the employee who helped me at the counter was as nice and polite as he could be. I know it was not his fault and that he was just following the policy, but the policy is stupid. UPDATE 6/5/20: Thank you for the reply. However, according to the UPS policy stated on the web site, I had all of the information and documents required to pick up the package. This is what the policy states: "If you need someone else to collect your package on your behalf, they'll need to bring a valid government-issued photo ID. Additionally s/he needs to present proof of connection to the address on the UPS label or to the named person (named person's valid ID or photocopy). Also accepted as proof of connection is an official notification (from the shipper or UPS) that provides the shipment/order details for the package (recipient name, shipper name, UPS Access Point location address and tracking number). Notifications can be printed out or provided on a smart phone." read more

This truly is the best UPS I have ever been to. Every time I enter, I am greeted with a smile by staff. All employees working here are fast, kind, and will help you and send you on your way within minutes. I mistakingly entered the wrong address on my packages and Bailen was kind and patient enough to help me. There were a few packages and he went back to check that we had the correct address to ship back to. If this was another business, the employee would have fussed and given me attitude the entire time. I am thankful for such exceptional customer service and will continue to come here. read more

i always drop my amazon prime returns at this store and if you do not have a package or envelope with the code, they will not except. i did not know any better and bought a box so i can return. do not do this. when you print the code it should say ups will pack and ship for free. i spoke with the manager and owner and he actually agreed with me because i went back home and dug out the amazon envelope and brought it back to return. theres another worker that has an attitude and is very unprofessional. i think thats the owners son who was rude to me as well. i do not recommend this ups store. read more

I have been a customer here for a few years - I have an annual mailbox - it isn't cheap. I've used many of the store services without trouble but have had some issues with the mail service. I've had incorrect mail in my box and important letters of mine have been delivered to others. I expect more attention to detail as this is exactly why I pay for a mail service. Most recently, I ordered a package and got the arrival notice over email. I went to the store and found out the package was indeed delivered to the store but the store LOST the package (it was delivered less than 24 hours earlier). Sadly, I was dealing with the manager/owner, Gus, who is a hyper aggressive guy. I got NO APOLOGY!!!!! He announced that they can't find the package. No info, just that. So I asked what the next step was. He said if they can't find the package, he'll pay for it. OK, that's fair. I said, how long. A WEEK! A WEEK? I noted the package was a gift, I wanted to know if he'd cover the shipping if I had to order a replacement in the next couple days and he refused. He actually told me that if the package showed up, he'd expect ME to pay him back if he covers the RUSH. I lost my temper at that. HIS SHOP LOST MY PACKAGE and I didn't ask him to pay for the contents of a replacement right away (I don't mind getting extras of what I ordered if the package turns up), just the shipping. The most he'd be out is the cost of the original stuff and rush shipping. He pushed back, WOW! I told him that I paid for a service I was not getting and this was unbelievable. Then it got WEIRD. He took $100 bucks out of the register and started waving it at me telling me to take it and do whatever - now he's trying to shut me up and get me to go away, I guess. I'm not a thief, I just want the fair compensation and $100 is far more than the package and shipping so I refused. By now, he's angry and aggressive. ANGRY AT ME? This guy lost MY package and he's angry at ME???? HE LOST MY PACKAGE AND HE'S SHOUTING AT ME! Don't know if they'll ever find the package, or if I'll get compensated for the lost one (If they don't I will 'small claims' them). I'm weighing if it's worth changing all my addresses to go somewhere else (I've been there for years). I think it might be... I'll post an update with the results and if he makes good on the loss. I asked for something in writing and never got it... Big Shock. In Summary: AVOID. The manager is a hyper aggressive guy and the work is sloppy. Misdirected mail, LOST PACKAGE! I understand that employees do not set prices. But when a customer asks "What's the cheapest option?" The answer should include something more than Elias' answer of "It depends." Even after further questions, he couldn't give me a ballpark, so when Elias said that my envelope that weighed less than half a pound would cost $13 and wouldn't get there for 7-10 days, he was surprised by my shock at the price. At least with the post office, all the prices are obvious and, even though they may not smile or greet you, at least they will answer a question and attempt to help.
