I'm an eBay seller and I'm constantly shipping packages. I've used many different services and have gone to many different stores. This is one of the most poorly managed stores I've come across. The employees aren't knowledgeable whatsoever and they're lazy to boot. Good luck getting one of these guys to help you carry a package into the store. Not at all surprised at the other horrible reviews. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. I hate leaving a negative review like this but the guy behind the counter was rude. The vibes were so bad that I almost called it out (i.e., by laughing and just saying, "Dude what is the problem here? Do we have a problem?") but I was too busy and simply had to keep my day moving along. I have no way of proving it but I feel certain that he intentionally broke the item that he packed for me. I had luggage that I wanted to ship, so I called them, told them the dimensions and asked for an estimated price over the phone and they said it'll be $26. I took my luggage all the way there and it was only after packing my luggage that they said I have to pay $80! read more

I revived a years dormant Yelp account just to post this because this store is so stupid. Got a free UPS shipping label? That will be $2 to print it out! $1.99 to be exact! Its not even on special paper or anything! Just regular sheet of printer paper. I assume the cost breakdown on this is: 4 cents for the print, 50 cents to struggle with the computer, 45 cents to the guy with the pinky ring who has to charge the customers with a straight face even though he clearly knows its dumb and $1 for the manager to defend this stupid charge on Yelp. I bet the owner Gus will respond here, blowing some condescending noise about "charging for services" when he should be reading up on how to create loyal customers. When your job is customer service, you end up giving a lot of that service away for free - especially for very small things. Your customers walk away happy, and then they come back with projects you can charge them for. Then you make up the 4 cents it cost you to print that label that one time! And as a bonus you can skip having to defend yourself on Yelp! Use that extra time to formulate a plan for getting out of business, because you just don't have the tools to do it correctly. read more

We've been to this UPS store many times and Narciso has been very nice and helpful every time. We've used their notary service and shipping services many times. We also dropped off our mail today. They do sell stamps too. I don't remember we ever waiting long. They have a huge parking lot (Kmart shopping center). read more

Just an update, it is so close to home I thought ok I will just go in and buy boxes this time (spend money). However now I was told there are no 2 day airbills available at this location and if I want to ship ground I can not use my account. He was nice enough to recommend a store across town that had air bills. Again, this is a choice this specific store is making because every other UPS store I have been in at least has the airbills. It's like he doesn't want the traffic or extra money people are willing to spend. So inconvienent. read more

Wow, I could not be more disappointed. I showed them a letterhead they made-up the label and my overnight package was lost for two weeks. When I called the store I was told that they could not do anything "until the manager comes in this afternoon." I called the corporate office and was told I had to deal with the store. We drive past another UPS location to get to this one because the service had always been great but never again. read more

This by far the most unfriendly customer service staff I've ever encountered. I go here on a regular basis to ship packages and for the notary service, only because of convenience. Rarely do someone great you when you walk in. They all stand around talking and looking at their cell phones; you have to excuse yourself to get service. Even the older man that's there, who may be the owner or manager, is rude. No one has ever asked if I needed help bringing my packages in, after they've seen that I have multiple boxes. They need a new manager and staff; people who actually want to be in customer service. If it wasn't for the dark haired, shorter guy, I would give them 1 star; he's their only saving grace. read more

This UPS Store isn't closest to my home, but it is more than worth the extra few miles for the friendly & helpful service, ample parking and positive experience. When I walk in the store I feel like I am visiting friends - who just happen to meet my shipping needs with "above the call of duty" service. read more

OMG.. What a horrible service. I have an online business and always use UPS for my shipping. This was the first time in this location and will be my last. Narciso was the rudest and angriest person I have met. Not even saying that he doesn't greet the customers but he is SO rude and angry. I tried to ask him few questions he attacked me with his answers instead of explaining. No one deserves to be treated that way. Narciso has anger issues and should not be allowed to service people. I found this place to be convenient, and the staff members were totally friendly and helpful. I'm kind of surprised by some of the negative comments... maybe people who used to work here were rude? Anyway, not the case in my experience. I think it's a little un-cool to knock an independent UPS Store franchise for the prices UPS charges -- they can't control that. The owner "Gus" is a dishonest person! I will never be shipping my packages here again. I am a member of Ponte Winery and have a shipment delivered every other month. These packages are perfect for gifts or events that I attend on the weekends. The package was delivered on 7/6/15, i got a call and an email. Unfortunately I've been home sick and have not been able to swing by to pick up the package. Therefore, I then went four days later, on 7/10/16 to pick up the package. When I arrived, I might say, there was a hispanic lady in front of me that the owner was helping, while she was being help, the other employee "Joseph" was laughing at her along with another customer, not sure if it was because of her accent? speaking spanish? Not sure, but I was offended as I am hispanic. Well thats another story...when it was my turn, Joseph looked up the package and stated there was no package for me there. I then asked the owner "gus" as why it was not there yet, he said they only hold packages for 7 days. I then told Gus that I got an email that I received a notification stating it was delivered on 7/6/15, he then said that package was already sent back. I asked him why it was sent back and he stated that they only hold it for 4 days and that he had called me. I was then confused as of why he then changed it from 7 to 4 days, something was not adding up. So I asked him for clarification, and then he started to raise his voice and said that it is the policy of ponte winery and that UPS can only hold it for 4 days and then they must return it, then he added some mumble jumble about the DEA (btw while he was raising his voice more) that they were not allowed to have alcohol there for too long due to federal regulations, blah blah blah. This guy thought I was stupid or what?!! so I called the winery and asked for their policy, they said that Gus's statement of the 4 days was incorrect. Therefore, I explained to them that I no longer want them sending packages to that store. This is ridiculous, this guy is really something. I will be sharing my experience with my coworkers in the city, council members, friends and family!!! read more

We have had a permanent mailbox here for about 7 years. We live and travel full time for work in an RV. There are a lot of options out there for RVers, and some may be even a bit lower in cost. But we are so pleased with the service we get from this store that we don't really shop around. We like being treated like family and know we can trust this store to care about our personal mail. Nothing has ever been lost. The staff always takes time for us whenever we call, which is remarkable because they can get really busy. We pay only for one of the smaller boxes, however they will handle without complaint, all of our boxes of any size, and there are many. Funny, but I have never in my life seen anyone pack more mail into a mailbox than here. When you pull it out of the box it expands immediately to about 10X the size lol! And they've never told me I had to get a bigger box. On occasion they have even been stuck for quite awhile with a box that I couldn't get back to pick up and they didn't charge me any additional fees. Several times Gus has transferred packages to a large mailbox when we couldn't make it on time so that we could pick the stuff up after hours. And a couple of times when they were closed and one of the staff was there a bit late, lights were out and the security gate was locked - they still handed me my mail with the best of attitudes. They try hard to work out the best price for me for mail forwarding, by taking a few minutes to cull my unwanted junk mail. And most importantly, when I have been really stressed about a critical piece of mail like a paycheck or a document, the owner Gus will personally keep his eyes open for it, find it and give it special handling for. Kind of like your Mom would lol. I like the no-drama service. I honestly don't know what more these guys could do for us. read more
