I have been to 3-4 UPS stores in the area and this is the best one. The team here is fast, efficient and always hustling to get packages in and out quickly. I've worked with Saughat and Adila multiple times and they always greet me with a smile no matter how many crazy shipping requests I'm bringing in on a dolly. I had spent around $100 on shipping packages in the last couple weeks. I kept asking "THAT'S the cheapest rate?!" As they quoted me $8 for local deliveries and $10-12 for east coast, for small packages no more than 16 oz. Finaly talked to my mail man and he said no USPS is the way to go. Yes it is, but not at a UPS store because they want your business. They also looked at me like I was crazy to want to open an account for savings, saying you won't save that much. Went to the post office today and paid $5.30 for a box twice as heavy. Felt very upset at the upped prices here. They are very nice and there is no other UPS store around. This place over charges on purpose. Sent two small blankets to NY for $55. I didnt have much of a choice cus i was in a rush and needed to get the shipment out asap to my cousins. 55 for two blankets is ridiculous. Went here because it's close by and I needed to get something printed and notarized. Well they charged me $2 to use their computer to get a file out of my USB to get printed. Mind you it says they print stuff on their site. Ridiculous. If they didn't have that service I'd understand but nope, a 2 dollar fee to just put my USB to print one sheet of paper. And the printing itself costed like 15 cents. Not like I needed to go online and retrieve it, it was right there on my USB. The older woman employee there didnt seem to care or think it was anything out of the ordinary. So if you need something printed while at this ups, I'd say don't unless you have free money laying around. read more

I have been dealing with this location for almost 11 years and with 2 different owners. The owners and staff know their product and always help me with shipments. Yes you pay more for the convenience of faster shipping with UPS rather than USPS. I was very surprised to see any negative comments- everyone has always been nice and patient to me and to other customers while I am there. Not sure how they do with their other services but this place sucks when it comes to livescan fingerprint service. First, their website is not updated - states walk ins are ok so I went without appointment, just to be told that only the owner is authorized to do it, and only on Tuesdays and Thursdays after 5pm. So I made an appointment for the following day. When I arrived, the same girl I spoke to the day before said "Let me call him. Everybody's looking for him." She got on her cell phone then came back and told me that unfortunately, he won't be able to come. Said the owner is at their other location in Oxnard and has a problem, she also said something about his car and traffic. That's very unprofessional! If you know you won't make it to your appointment, CALL AND ADVISE THE CUSTOMER OR CANCEL!! What a complete waste of my time. Worst customer service ever! read more

Very upset that I was informed of a fee after the job was already done not giving me an opportunity to take into consideration. Amazon sent me a prepaid label for UPS but when I get there they tell me to email it to them which I did but he failed to tell me it costs $1.99 for them to open the email and .10 to print. If I had known I would've left and printed it for free at my home. It's not the money that bothers me but it's the horrible customer service. WORST UPS Store! The employees work like snails and don't multitask. While they're waiting for their customer to fill out documents they just stand and watch. While waiting in line, I asked if I could drop off a prepaid labeled package but they said I had to wait in line. This has happened numerous times. I've used this place more than a few times in the past. Yesterday I walked in w a part purchased on ebay w the return label. An older man that I think is the owner immediately looked at me and said it must be in a box. When i told him it shipped to me in the box i had he said ok then you need to tape the label on and pointed to the tape he has for sale on the wall and told me to buy the tape...i just looked at him and asked him if he was serious and he said yes. ok so i pivoted and as i was walking out he yells "and go to the post office". wow. i know he probably doesn't make much off this type of return but that was totally rude. In the past I have dealt w his wife and staff and they have been helpful every time even if it is more expensive there. I hope they consider putting him back in his rocking chair or wherever he was before that. Definitely not good for business. Btw i ended up going to Global Postal on Devonshire next to the post office. Very friendly and even spared me a couple of pieces of tape. This place just lost my business for good. read more

I often go to the ups store to mail packages to friends and family and they are the best! The personnel have excellent customer service skills and they are professional and efficient!
