I had to come here for live scan fingerprinting. I was so glad I didn't have to drive far and was in and out within minutes. I didn't make an appointment either. The staff were very patient and helpful with the entire process too. Everything worked out, Board of Nursing accepted the fingerprints without problem. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. It cost about $80 but I guess I can't complain since it's for my license. read more

They have a young lady there 'Kathryn', very rude, brash and abrupt. Is short with you and pushes you thru without completing the tasks for a customer, before moving on to the next. Her attitude is bad and her work performance is poor. She takes packages, does not complete sealing of the package AND attaching the mailing label. Instead she will pile packages and labels to the side on the floor. I left very frustrated and returned cause I was concerned that my label would get lost or that my return item would fall out of the un-taped envelope. Another worker got my package and sealed it and attached the label properly. This place used to be run very well, it is going downhill, these new and young employee needs some customer service & job training. read more

This is the worse UPS store. The owner thinks he's god and tries to scam you to get extra mobey. He refused to ship a box that I had just received in the mail. He said it was damaged and wanted me to buy a $30 box from him. He should be a politician since he's a dirty fat weasel. I took my package to another UPS store and they gladly accepted the package but I had to call Amazon again and get a new return label since he scanned my label and added it into his inventory so he could get paid for a service he didn't provide. I called and filed a complaint so have fun bud. read more

Sorry but I am extremely frustrated right now. I have been using this UPS store on several occasions and have always had quick/friendly/efficient service. Today was a different story. I had a box that I prepared to send to my daughter, essentially full of mail that had accumulated over the last month since she moved out of state. A few packages, and a lot of various mail pieces. All in original packaging received by USPS, never opened. When asked by the clerk (Asst. Mgr. I noticed) regarding the value, I just went with the default $100. When asked about contents, I said mail and a few packages rec'd in the mail that I am merely forwarding. He asked for more detail, and I only recall one box was from 'Scentbox' and said 'maybe cosmetics'. Apparently that was a bad word! Illegal to ship cosmetics?? Wait.. how did it get shipped by USPS? All I'm doing is forwarding it? It's "Hazardous materials"? Clerk asked if he could open the box, I reluctantly say ok. He proceeds to open, and sort through all the belongings. Asks to open the mail packages. I ask if it was necessary, as it was never opened as received from USPS! He proceeds to open, and the cosmetics were 2 tiny fully contained metal (indestructible) containers, with probably 1mL of sample perfume maybe? I inquire... really? He wanted to open the other pkgs, checking to see who the original senders were. Based on the sender, I guessed what the other pkgs may contain, and he seemed ok. But I thought that particularly intrusive to ask and to open the packages. These were all UNOPENED mail pieces and pkgs already sent to regular, first class mail via USPS that I reboxed and wanted to send to my daughter! Assistant Manager? Long overdo review. We were driving through and needed to ship something but every other UPS was closed. Needed to drop off package for delivery next day called and explained situation. With the owner's approval Jose said he'll wait for us and help us get package shipped out for following day which worked out perfect so we didn't need to drive around with big box in car for our trip. I called beforehand and stated that the other Ups store that I went to to take a passport picture said I couldn't smile when indeed you could. He said ok we can take another picture for you and I said at NO CHARGE and he said yes on the phone. My bf even heard him say yes. I'm all excited because I have to live with this passport picture for 10 years. I drive myself after work 25 minutes coming from Pocket and when I get there he changes his mind to say that he never said he wouldn't charge me to re-do the picture. So of course I'm angry and because I drove all the way over here for nothing. I wouldn't have drove 25 minutes OUT OF MY WAY to have to pay to take another picture. Plus this store is double the price than Walgreens. I will just go there and retake it. read more

And here I thought I was the only one who has experienced horrendous customer service. I walked in to drop a package off and had some error with the shipping labels. Not only did the woman who serve me not help in clarifying what I could do to fix it, she berated me in an extremely condescending and exasperated tone, as if I was physically draining her by having a slight problem with my package. She seemed more like she was ranting on why she couldn't take my package than actually attempting to help me or offer a suggestion. This lady basically ensured I won't be coming back. read more

Excellent customer service given yesterday and they were super busy. They were all friendly and quick! My husband and I had to take care of some faxing and ordering some cards. Visited this location today to ship a textbook I had rented for an online college class. There were 3 other customers ahead of me but every available employee dropped whatever they were working on and assisted all of the customers at once. My transaction was quick and easy and I was literally in and out of the store in less than five minutes. The employees were all friendly and greeted me upon entering the store. Miles did an amazing job for me! I had gone to a nearby drug store to get my passport photo taken. When I arrived at the UPS store to have my envelope mailed I noticed the 2 pictures were printed on 1 sheet of photo paper. Miles was kind enough to cut them exactly as required for the application (not easy since all of the background was white!). He also stapled the picture onto the application the exact way that was needed. After all of his awesome and amazing help Miles has one of the best personalities (talk about service with a smile) I've encountered in a long period of time. Keep up the good work!! read more

I personally received excellent customer service with one of the workers at this location. He was fast, friendly, and efficient. I needed to get a live scan done and I didn't know there was a specific form you needed to fill out before you get your fingerprints. Luckily they keep a plastic container with the proper forms for the company you need to send it to. Best part is they stay open til 8! read more

I've been going to this location for months now and I've always had a great experience until now. I use the computer to print documents from my email for free. But today one of the employees told me it was $3 for the first fifteen minutes!! Now if the locations I've been to have made me pay to use the computer. Great customer service at this UPS store. We use it for our family business often and Aaron is such a great, helpful employee. Truly goes out of his way to help!!!! My mom is elderly and he is compassionate to her and always opens the door, carries her packages and even if he sees her pull up in her car and he's not with a customer he runs out to help get the packages out of her sedan car. I have always done my printing projects here and have never had any issues until I went to pick up my order today. Ups sent me an email with a coupon and apparently the fine print says over a certain amount of pages the rest are free so I paid $88 for 5 manual after my coupon was applied which is fine but when I get to the store the employee relayed to me that the owner did not want to give me my paid items until I paid the difference of the free pages that I was unaware of. Well my first reaction was that its not my problem that I apparently got free pages because that's the way their system works and I then I realized that the guy was just the messenger and doing his job. I asked how much the difference was and was about $20. So if this owner is so hard up for $20 then so be it, I paid it but it will be the last dollar he ever gets from me. And apparently he disabled all online printing orders because he is "losing money" over the companies fine print that I'm sure he is supposed to abiding by. read more

The young man that helped me, Aaron, was super helpful. He let me know up front how much everything would cost, but also gave me suggestions and alternatives. This store gets busy, so try to go in the morning. You have to allow for a little extra time when coming here, because if you get some dummy in front of you, despite how awesome Aaron is, you could be there for a while. We went to this store a few months back for passport photos and had a fine experience. Upon submitting our passport applications, an agent told us our photos did not fit the required US government specifications and would be rejected as too small. She recommended we get new photos which we did (elsewhere -- no easy task as we had waited in line for hours and the office was about to close) and then my husband returned to this UPS store to ask for our money back. First, the assistant manager argued they could not have made a mistake as they take "tons of these photos." My husband showed him the photos, overlaid with the specs, and the assistant manager agreed they were too small. So his next argument was that only a customs officer can actually reject these photos on a passport application. That may be true, but the helpful passport agent was actually providing us customer service by notifying us that our passports would be rejected, thus holding up our applications and possibly our entire trip. Did he really expect we should have gone through with the application, and then if they were rejected he would give us our money back? Presented with this argument, he finally agreed to refund our money, but insisted we needed the receipt (funny how this policy was never mentioned initially). Because of the amount of time that had passed, my husband did not have the receipt, but had our credit card statement with the store number and charge. The assistant manager insisted that wasn't good enough, and refused to provide contact information for the manager or owner, insisting they would agree with him. Overall, there was a completely dismissive attitude and no customer service provided at this location. They deserve Yelp's lowest rating (too bad zero stars isn't possible), or at least this employee does. We will not go there again and recommend others don't either. read more

Leaving 3 Stars because the few times I've come in the guys are nice and friendly. On another note I was on the phone but was put hold for 15 minutes. I don't have a problem with that because Ive worked with customer service so I know how busy things can get. Eventually I heard a click and I thought they'd get back to me but they just hung up. I assumed they were just busy and ending the call was a mistake (maybe they thought the phone was left out and they put it back in its place or whatever, just trying to be understanding). So I called back and just patiently said I was just on the phone and was on hold, and I told them I didn't know if the call just randomly failed (implying I don't blame them for hanging up) or some other type of scenario. Instead of an apology or a "Oh haha, my bad!" It was "Oh we're just really busy right now." I COULD say "Well that doesn't mean you can just hang up on me without notice" I just said I'd call in later because I don't want to be THAT customer that gives attitude. Next time I'd rather be told to please call back later than be hung up on when I thought I was going to be assisted. read more

This UPS store is the friendliest place in town. I've had a box there for over a year and they all know me by name and are extremely courteous and efficient. They even give me my mail if I forget my key (only with ID, of course). They have great hours if you need to mail something and you can get in with your key after hours. Melissa is the most outstanding employee there! Definitely the place to go if you need a post office box. read more

I have been using the UPS store for the past 8 years and NEVER had any negative issues with the owner or any of the staff. They are quick to respond to my needs business wise. I also have my mail box there because the US Post office lost a lot of my mail. and could not find the correct box to deposit it in. I just wish the US Postal system would go private and become more efficient. read more

Came into get a DOJ background check I needed for a work visa in China. The price listed on the DOJ site wasn't bad, but I was charged a higher price once I was ready to pay. What could I do? Not only that, but the technician accidentally supplied me with the wrong form (in spite of my clear written and verbal request) resulting in the wrong report and a one week delay for me. I called the store and was told that they made an error and would take care of it for no extra charge. When I drove the 40 miles to have their error corrected, the owner was there and told me (after making me wait for some while) that he would not honor the promise and I would have to pay again. He made it clear that he couldn't care less that I was out my time and $60. There are plenty of other options and I recommend any of them over this place. read more

omg 95 mph! speeding from Greenhaven to elk grove.... . as i am driving know i wouldn't make it, so i had to google map it and it said i will arrive at 405 pm and they close at 400 pm on a sunday! and for damn sure i knw google map is always correct with the time, no matter how fast i drive! . Anyhow i got there at 405pm! but when i saw the open sign still on i was in tears of joy! i had to drop off my package on that day for sure! . The sales associate was really nice and patient. Even though he is working over time he still let me in to return it. I couldn't appreciate enough for his kindness. All that speeding was worth it. I hate last minute trips and definitely no more next time. . Overall glad i got there safe and sound. The store was nice and bright and clean located in the same shopping center of dollar tree. I had a good experience and note that this is the only ups store who opens til 400pm on a sunday. all the other ups stores is closed on sundays or close early. I walked in this UPS store to get 2 live-scans for places of employment. There were no other customers. The gentlemen (store owner) took my documents and preceeded to help me until another customer came in. That was fine - I didn't have a problem with that. However, the next customer had a lengthy transaction. So, rather than effectively communicating to me or the other customer - the store owner juggled both transactions. He never said a word. In the meantime, 2 other customers came in and he helped them before finishing up my transaction - with no communication. I finally had to say, "Would you like me to come back? Because I am on a schedule - and you have now seen 3 customers before me." This was the the kind of "hint" that he needed. His presumptious behavior is off-putting and offensive. It was clear that he cares more about potential loss of volume than he does about his customers. If it were not for my employers choosing this place for live-scan - I would never go back. Nor would I suggest it for anyone that I know. read more

I've used this store 3-4 times a month for a few years yet every time I walk in, its as if I've never been there before. No smiles, no small talk, nothing. Today, I had a problem printing my own pre-paid shipping label so i needed their help. I got their help but had to pay them 1.11 to print the label. It's not so much that they charged me but cumulative lack of customer service and now this incident is enough for me to go elsewhere. There are so many alternatives that I feel my choice to frequent a particular establishment should be appreciated. read more
