Mailed out my save the dates and wedding invitations from here. Tons of the invitations didn't make it to my guests, even though the save the dates did. Not sure what happened there. None of that mail bounced back either. It caused a lot of problems with the wedding planning. I feel like my money went to nothing. read more

Close to my house, so I usually go there when I need to fax or copy. Not any more! Faxes are $1.85 per page! Even for a toll free number. My head was spinning. No wonder it was so empty. I left and found an office store off Jackson Dr. that faxes for $1 per page. read more

Was so easy to ship something. They did everything, I didn't even need to bring a box. A little expensive though.

Yesterday I went to this UPS store to mail a lightweight gift to Oregon in a large padded envelope. It weighed less than a pound. The clerk said that the postage would be $25! After I picked up my jaw, I said that seemed really high. He then swiveled his computer screen toward me and said, "Look, that's our best price, and if you overnighted it, it would be $92." I mail packages fairly often and I knew this was way out of line. I asked if there was ANY other cheaper way. THEN he admitted that US Postal Service would cost $9.98. Even that was inaccurate. When he went to ring it up, he said it was actually only $6.95. I talked to his superior afterward on the phone and at first she said that they "push" UPS mailing with customers because they're a UPS store, and then she said, "Uh, I mean because then you get extra services like being able to track the package and get insurance." $18 extra to mail an envelope so I can track the package and get insurance? I don't think so. Something here smells like mackerel. read more

This store sent valuable heirloom photos of ours to Yuma, AZ instead of a scan service in Los Angeles. We have been contacting this UPS store for months about our pictures and all they have done is lie lie lie about where the pictures are. They claim they contacted the Yuma address who located the pictures at their location, but somehow the pictures are now in 'Mexico' in customs. We are heartbroken as these are pictures of relatives that cannot ever be replaced. They don't even call back when we leave them messages asking for updates. If you chose to use this store, make very very very certain that they have attached the correct address to your package that you want it send to. Rebecca is the person 'hahahaha' 'handling our case. She lies every time she answers our calls, the last time stating that she would 'call the UPS headquarters' to see what can be done. Of course, she never called us back re: that call. Do NOT use this store unless you are feeling extremely lucky. Our feeling right now is to get a lawyer and sue the pants off this business and Rebecca and hoping they have to close this useless location. Den of liars!!! read more

The store manager - wish I grabbed her name- helped me even though it was a few minutes past closing. Little things like that really stand out for me as she didn't HAVE to help me. Warning. Don't go there to take a passport photo ID. the guy who work there will take a wrong photo that the Passport agency won't take it. I mean if you been doing this for yrs, you should know how to take a photo. So now you either have to miss your passport appointment or go take another photo at ur nearest Agency but you have to spend another $10 plus tax, driving back from downtown to las Mesa was gonna take me more then 40min back and forward and I will lost my passport appointment and have to request another day off from work, so that's what happen to me. So I had to take another photo at Broadway downtown. Anyway, I call the guy at this ups store the day after to get back my money, he wouldn't give me back my $10 without a receipt and i recall, the nice lady at the register didn't even gave me a receipt. I just paid $10 cash and she gave me my photo in a White envelope and I left, since it was my first passport photo, I don't know if it was the right photo or not. He guy cut my forehead in half, you can't see my top head. Very unacceptable and unprofessional. Years of taking photo and can't take the right photo. So fishy. If there is negative Star, the guys deserve 1k and deserve to get fired. read more

Went in mainly for notary services but also had to do some complicated shipping. Matt was definitely as good as it gets! He was very patient, explained the process well. He worked methodically through the various tasks. He was even able to help other customers in between, never missing a beat. This is a busy little store but the staff keeps things moving and always with a friendly smile and a few jokes. The service at this UPS store is beyond fantastic! This is a busy location, but they never fail to take the time and effort necessary to help and let you know how much your business is appreciated. I sell on Amazon and the majority of my parcels are shipped with prepaid UPS labels that are generated from my home computer. I pay Amazon directly for my shipping labels but that makes no difference to the folks at this store - the friendly, helpful and knowledgeable team always takes the time to help and make sure that I'm well taken care of. This is the best UPS store I have ever known. Mature, knowledgeable and super professional people. I just went in to buy a large box to ship an antique lamp. They not only were the only place around who had one big enough, when they asked if I needed them to pack it up, I was thrilled. Had thought I would have to do it myself. The receiving party said the packing was unbelievably great and no part of the lamp (it had many dangles) was damaged in any way. Just fabulous service! read more

Went to UPS after first going to the post office on Brisby. At this location, I told the agent what I wanted to do and he gave me some forms to fill out then asked. Step aside so he could help the nest person, there wasn't anyone behind me?, whatever so filled out my corms and returned to his window. No one had come in. He took my forms and asked me questions !like , "Would you like someone to sign and insurance?" Yes, I answered. After punching I some information and numbers in the computer h tells me I filled out the wrong forms and I can't insure the packages. I said , "You gave me the forms and why didn't you check to see what I could do before you asked me to fill them out? He has no answer for me. Now there is about 5 customers giving me the stinkeye because they don't know he messed up not me. Now he's impatient with me cause I'm bit confused now. He ask what I want to do. Now my boyfriend is upset and says forget it let's go somewhere else. We end up at USPS and Jason helps us. I and out in 4 minutes. Super helpful, friendly and efficient! I have been to this location before and the service was WAY better than what I experienced today. Last time an older guy helped me and he was great. This time a younger girl with dark hair helped and If she is ever working again when I go to drop off a simple package I will not return. For one, she didn't turn the closed sign around 30mins after they opened. Which, whatever, i'm not dumb and can read the times so I walked in. No greeting, in fact she look irritated to be working. All I needed to do was grab a padded envelope and hand her my package and my pre printed shipping label. She took what I was mailing, entered something into the computer, told me my total for the package. Didn't even hand my shipping receipt, left it on the other side of desk area for me to figure it out for myself. When I paid for the envelope, she snatched my card from me and then threw the receipt and the pen down for me to sign. WOAH!!! I was appalled. Will be looking for somewhere else to ship my stuff via UPS. read more

Ok I have never done a public notary before or did not even know what that was, so I went into this ups store not knowing anything. The associate there named Matt assisted me on helping me with the notary . I had no idea I was going to be charged for it, for it was my fault for not asking and I did not have the funds on me at the time unfortunately, but MATT! pardoned me free of charge for the notary thank you very much!!! I bypass several UPS locations or facilities that serve UPS customers to go to this particular UPS Store in La Mesa, Store #2080 because the staff, especially Rebecca, Matt, Jason (all the staff but I see them the most) bend over backwards to be welcoming, helpful and supportive of my needs as a business person working alone. They always answer questions thoroughly, offer advice and services that help me better serve the customers I am sending products to. They are very helpful with my Amazon shipments and even help me above and beyond their duties as UPS staff. I love working with the team at this location. This is the only UPS location near me where the service is always superb, no matter what time of day, what day of the week or how many packages we are working with. I am happy to drive to La Mesa for the kind of service this team provides. Sometimes, just working with them is uplifting. I know someone cares about me as a customer. read more

UPS rang my bell and left before I could answer the door. They left a very large package: 3 1/2 feet tall, 2 1/2 feet wide and 2 feet deep on the small porch of my condo covering all but a small area for me to squeeze by to go down stairs AT THE WRONG ADDRESS. It was supposed to be two condos over and again upstairs. I called the UPS store on Baltimore but they were NO HELP. They didn't even have the main phone number to call for a driver truck. They said they were not the UPS (so why are they called the UPS store?). They told me to go to UPS.com so I did. After waiting 10 minutes for help on hold I hung up and went to the live chat line. They asked me for my phone number and address AFTER I had already given it to them. They told me to hold several times and said they were having trouble with their online system. After wasting an hour of my personal time and them making it seem like it was MY problem that I had this very large package taking up my porch I decided they had the tracking number and my name, address and phone number so they had what they needed to pick up the package and I hung up, After all it was NOT my problem. They never picked up the package to deliver to the correct address. The single women that it was going to came to my door because of a note I left on her door and tried to take the large heavy package by herself so I helped her.
