Yelp customers raved about their experience with Menlo Press, so we drove over expecting the same results. The print shop is small, filled with paper all around. This only proved this place was popular. We had a copy of an invoice template we wanted to use for this new business. We asked him to create a replica with the exception of the business information. We filled out the information for the copies and he gave us a rate for $15. We were surprised at how cheap it was. I thought we were looking at spending at least $50 here based on the location. The owner said he'd have it done within 2 days. (We were expecting a week long wait!) Just to make things even better, he said he had the template saved in his files, so we can just call and order more invoices if needed. Wow! My husband and I had an amazing experience overall. Menlo Press is a one-stop-shop! If you're in the area, I highly recommend this shop for our printing needs.

Talk about a bad experience!…read more From the minute I walked in today, it was obvious the woman behind the counter didn't want to be bothered to do any work for me. She told me I would have to wait 3 hours for my order--before she even knew what my order was! Told me they didn't have the right color paper I wanted, but when I asked her to look for it, funny thing, it was right there. When I asked her if I could do the copying myself, she said, sure, but I have to charge you (A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF MONEY) just for the paper and then you pay for the copies. I told her this was not what I used to get at Kinkos. She said, this isn't Kinkos anymore. If you don't like it, go somewhere else. I said, I'm about to do that, because it doesn't even seem like Fedex any more. So I left and went down the street to Staples, where funny thing--the woman behind the counter was friendly and helpful. She was able to do the job fairly quickly. They had all kinds of color paper choices available, that didn't cost extra. And guess what--she got the job done very quickly AT ABOUT 25% OF WHAT FEDEX WANTED TO CHARGE! My advice: Absolutely positively avoid this Fedex office like the plague. Drive the 2 blocks south and let the nice folks at Staples take care of you properly instead. p.s. Unbelievably rude and completely lacking basic empathy. I went into this store to print and fax…read moreurgent documents. I am currently dealing with a major digital security compromise and a pending police report, meaning I cannot safely access email on my phone and needed to use their customer computer. The customer computer was down. Instead of offering an alternative workaround to help a customer in a crisis, the employee (male with a dark beard, glasses, face mask, and hat) was incredibly curt, rigid, and dismissive. He flat-out refused to help, stating, "This is a business," and even lied by saying he didn't know the address of a nearby sister store to avoid looking it up. I literally stood in front of him and called the Menlo Park UPS store. They immediately agreed to help me print my documents using alternative methods, despite having the exact same technical outage. When I told this employee that the other store was willing to assist, he just gave a lazy, "Sorry, I can't." Avoid this location. If you expect standard problem-solving or decent human customer service, go to the Menlo Park location instead. They actually care about helping people.
