I recently made a sale on eBay, it was for a high end electronic and I needed to ensure it was packed properly with precaution so it was delivered without damage. I used UPS for the packing service they offer and paid $27 for a thorough packing. The item arrived to the buyer completely broken and I lost all the money on the sale including an additional loss paying for the return label to get the item back. I went back to UPS and explained the issue to Nicole (the employee who packaged my item) and kindly requested a refund due to the loss I suffered. She was very rude and didn't even let me finish my explanation before she abruptly declined my refund request for the packaging that was clearly not packaged securely. read more

What a nice UPS store this is! Located right in between my favorite coffee shop (Kona Loa) and my other favorite Japanese restaurant (Kaguya). The store associates here are really efficient, helpful, and no nonsense. The doors are open for easy loading and unloading of big boxes. The dedicated parking spot makes it easy to come and go when the shopping center is extremely crowded. You can back in the vehicle right to the store front, which is extremely helpful for people like me with mobility problems. The lovely associate at the store helped process 4 different returns I needed to make during my visit. I was expecting a long line and long wait due to the time of the year. No such thing happened at this UPS location. The store itself is also spotless and very clean. Not an item out of place and every pathways to the counters were clear of obstruction. No trash or visible debris on the carpet either. I am glad to have found a nice UPS store location in my neighborhood! I know exactly where I will be going to from here on out. read more

This UPS Store gladly helped me with my Amazon return! After a particularly aggravating Amazon delay, the hinge I'd ordered for a simple cabinet repair came 10 days after I'd completed the job. When the useless part finally arrived I took the unopened package to Amazon Fresh where I usually take returns. Since this was a third party item they wouldn't accept the return and directed me to The UPS Store on Puerta Real. During previous returns at another UPS Store in Mission Viejo they charged me for an envelope and more just to print a mailing label, so I was expecting the same runaround this time. But this kind gentleman walked me through the return process and even typed out the last few instructions for me on my phone (thank you kind UPS store manager, I wish I'd remembered to ask your name so I could give you credit). Soon a label was printed and placed on my package! I gladly said thank you, and goodbye to my useless $10 hinge, without becoming further unhinged myself. read more

In theory this location opens at 8am. However I have been sitting in the parking lot waiting to drop off a package and no one has arrived to open the store as of 8:20am. I've since watched 3 customers walk up, try the door, check the hours, and then get back in their cars and leave. It's insane. There is a help wanted sign in the window but if you are gonna be more than 15 minutes late opening then you should just change your hours. That's just absurd. I understand we are in a pandemic and everyone is doing the best they can but based on the reviews for this location, I have a feeling this is just common practice. read more

This has to be one of the worse UPS stores. The store says it opens at 8 am. Every time I have come to this store, it's closed at 8 am even thou the hours are posted. Today, there was about 4 cars besides myself waiting for the store to open and it's about 8:20 am. In fact, UPS truck came by and also waited and I saw them stick up a notice on the door and then the driver drover off. I have to come to this store often since my office is across the street. They are NEVER open on time. Was here last week at 10:30am three different times and they still weren't open even though the sign says 8am. I don't think I've ever gone and they were open on time. The jury is out. I paid $77.00 for an overnight delivery that got there 2 days later! After UPS CORP said all refunds suspended due to fake virus and I must speak to the store mgr for refund (and UPS reimburses them)The mgr at S Coast Plaza store never called me Fri as promised, nor Sat. He then promised owner would call me on Monday. THAT never happened. I called again today, (Tues), and spoke again to the nanager who couldnt be less helpful or concerned. He said the owner was at his other store in Mission Viejo, however, he couldnt tell me the address or even a cross street, " Because Im totally backed up and can't think straight" ( but was able to give dumb excuses and the owners name. After calling 3 stores im Mission Viejo, I found the correct location, however, Juan, the owner, is not in! I left a message with a female employee for him to call me asap. I did nothing to cause this problem. My customer saw the UPS truck on her street the next day, but her package was not on it. I'm trying to keep my business afloat and this store cares nothing about my business nor my customer. Yet they keep my money and I cant let this happen. I want my $ back. This was their fault. My pkg was dropped at the ups store at 230 pm. Plenty of time to make the 5:30pm pick-up! Had they told me there was no guarantee on the over night delivery, as they now say, I wouldn't have paid them $77 to look like a fool to my client and lose her business. The manager didnt even apologize! I look like an idiot I've now lost $77 because of the ups stores inability to deliver an overnight package! I thought that was their business! Ill follow up this review with the information the manager provides, if in fact he calls me back. Hes only had 6 days to do so. Ill go to court if I must. I brought in wrapped Christmas presents and I had no idea what size box to buy at a store so I was extremely Happy when my sister suggested that I just take my gifts to the UPS store the employee I knew exactly which box would fit my items perfectly & packed and taped everything up! This UPS has a 3 Star rating?! That is unbelievable! I am giving this UPS a 5 star rating because of the employee name Josh. He was working alone when I stepped in and I was the only customer. 5 minutes later, there was like 7 customers waiting for him. I had to make a phone call and told him to assist the other customers first. While making a phone call I was observing how he treated each customer with phenomenal service and with great efficiency! I frequent the UPS store a few times a month and their long time stand out associate Juan is the man. Always helpful, efficient and quick with a great attitude! I'm bummed since my other fave employee resigned a few months ago. There's a newer associate there that has consistently rubbed me the wrong way, has made some snarky comments to me and generally has a bit of an attitude. When I got an email saying my package was ready for pickup, my package was no where to be found. This location lost my package. The guy was no help (beard and had freckles). I received awful customer service today. The UPS guy at the desk, told me $20 for one box, after he used two to make one. 12 by 12 he said he was going to use, then he used two to cut down and did not tell me he was charging for the other box. He acted like he was doing me a favor and he was not. There were plenty of $11 boxes he could have used. Then he told me the box is $20 and the shipping would be $20, total of $40. I thought that was high but agreed. When he rang it up he said I owe $65 for the total. I was shocked how much it cost to send a small package. He said he meant it was 40 for shipping and 20 for the box. Then he added tax. As far as I'm concern I will always go to FED-X from now on. He was a smart ass kid and I hated this place. I told him to give me my stuff back and I would go somewhere else and he said he had to charge me anyway. I should have not given him my credit card ahead of time. Lesson to learn, always get it in writing first. The kid made a mistake and instead of saying so, he lied and try to cover up in front of the other customers. read more

HORRIBLE Customer service! My daughter had her passport picture take here and when we tried to use it we were told that it was not the correct size. It had terrible color and a white strip down the side that we were told was not acceptable. We had to pat for an additional picture and were given a slip of paper to take back to the UPS store and request a refund. We returned to the UPS store and I explained this to the owner. He started yelling at me in front of several other customers. We all looked at each and were very uncomfortable. He said he was going to get a lawyer and sue the people who told me that it was not an acceptable picture. He said it happens all the time. He refused to give me a refund. I told him that he would be losing a customer and he told me he couldn't care less. It seems to me that if he is continuing to have customers return unhappy he might consider changing the pictures that he is selling. What he should not be doing is yelling at his customers. I will never return to this store again and I encourage everyone to choose a store where they actually care about their customers. read more
