    Went on Saturday afternoon and stepped into a line of customers. I was ready to wait an hour to ship my two packages. I watched a new employee and wondered how he could be the only employee on a Saturday afternoon after Christmas. All of a sudden out from the back cone Wonder Woman. She came in and took over the front end and cleared the line, support the new employee all with a smile.

    Shocked by the negative reviews here. Parking is generous, friendly young ladies behind the counter who adore my dogs, and the line moves fast. I've always had a pleasant experience returning Amazon packages at this location. The ladies are so sweet, they give my dogs hugs and treats.

    I would like to provide detailed feedback regarding a recent experience at PostalAnnex, as what…read moreshould have been a simple drop-off turned into nearly two weeks of confusion, rerouting, and unnecessary frustration. On the same day, I brought in two items: 1. A return package intended for the merchant recipient 2. Another package intended for Amazon Both items were dropped off, scanned, and accepted at PostalAnnex. However, both were mishandled: * The return package meant for the merchant recipient was incorrectly delivered to Amazon. * The package intended for Amazon was somehow delivered back to my home instead of to Amazon. These were two separate items, dropped off at the same time, and both ended up at completely wrong destinations, something that should never happen. What made the situation significantly worse was the complete lack of support from PostalAnnex once the issue surfaced. When I contacted Sanjay, I was not offered any assistance, investigation, or sense of accountability. Instead, he immediately distanced himself from the situation and sent me the following message: "The drop off service is offered as a courtesy to our customer. The packages are handed off to the respective carriers. Please file a claim online at usps.com. We do not insure the drop off package's contents or value. The receipt itself has the terms and conditions." -- Sanjay This response was dismissive, particularly considering that both items were scanned and accepted at PostalAnnex, a step customers trust precisely because it is supposed to ensure accuracy and responsibility. When I spoke with USPS, I was told the matter needed to be addressed by PostalAnnex, since that is where the items were physically processed. Yet PostalAnnex declined to assist in any way, leaving me stuck between two parties, each redirecting me to the other, with no ownership taken by the location that actually handled the drop-off. The only support I received throughout this ordeal was from the customer service representative at the merchant recipient, who had no obligation to help but still guided me through the situation and helped ensure a resolution. What should have been a quick, routine drop-off turned into a lengthy, stressful, and avoidable two-week ordeal. I want to highlight one important caution for other customers: PostalAnnex's receipt contains terms and conditions stating they do not insure or take responsibility for drop-off items. Most customers likely overlook this, but based on my experience, it is something everyone should read and understand before trusting this location with packages that matter. I genuinely hope PostalAnnex takes this feedback seriously and improves accountability, training, and overall support, especially when errors clearly originate at the drop-off point.

I am currently dealing with a major digital security compromise and a pending police report, meaning I cannot safely access email on my phone and needed to use their customer computer. The customer computer was down. Instead of offering an alternative workaround to help a customer in a crisis, the employee (male with a dark beard, glasses, face mask, and hat) was incredibly curt, rigid, and dismissive. He flat-out refused to help, stating, "This is a business," and even lied by saying he didn't know the address of a nearby sister store to avoid looking it up. I literally stood in front of him and called the Menlo Park UPS store. They immediately agreed to help me print my documents using alternative methods, despite having the exact same technical outage. When I told this employee that the other store was willing to assist, he just gave a lazy, "Sorry, I can't." Avoid this location. If you expect standard problem-solving or decent human customer service, go to the Menlo Park location instead. They actually care about helping people.

I also sent another PDF with another order that needed to be discussed both at 10:30 this morning. Because of that, I called at 10:45 AM to discuss. They said they were busy and would call me back. I said that was fine. At 6 PM I hadn't heard anything yet, so I stopped in only to encounter the same person I've dealt with in the past when the manager wasn't there unfortunately. I said I emailed my request and you could tell right away. She didn't want to help. She asked what type of this and what type of that and I said I've had this order a few times in the past and she said we have no way of knowing what you ordered in the past. And I said well I've done this before and she said who did you deal with and I said the manager. And she said oh she's working at a different store for the next week. When this has happened in the past, they've called her and she's called me from the other store, but she just looked at me like you're screwed, buddy. I knew this was going nowhere cause she had this. I'm hitting life look on her face when she was helping the customers in front of me. So I told her never mind and walked out. I won't be coming back here unfortunately because of how this whole interaction went. Of course I'm shortening this whole story because it's being typed, but I wanted to give it a little bit of justification. Despite the (manager) being excellent, the service at this location stinks. And looking at the other reviews, that girl is the one I think that is to blame for these other bad reviews. The older gentleman they refer they referred to is actually pretty good as I've seen him helping others in the past and I will give him his dues, but he wasn't there today. I hate giving low ratings. I much prefer to give five stars to businesses. This one is much deserved.
