I send out multiple packages a day and this is one of the only post offices that actually scan in the packages that updates tracking. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter too much but it's a great update to my customers that their package is actually shipped out the day I drop it off. This post office has so many problems-where to even begin ... Passport desk. Laura is incredibly rude. I've been twice this year, once for me and most recently for my daughter. Both times she was late and extremely sarcastic when reviewing our forms. I should have gone to Gilroy Library for my passport. Packages. My mail carrier, a middle aged African American man, repeatedly delivers items to my neighbor 3 houses down the street or simply "misplaces" them. I've tried filing complaints with the post office but it continues to happen. It's ridiculous how many times I've had to reach out to senders over lost packages. Rude employee, selfish customers. One of the worst USPS I've ever been to. A customer cut in line, I called her out and some fat employee with tattoos had a real attitude when I called out the customer. I had been waiting for over 5 minutes. He asked "what line?" Hey guess what?? Another misdelivered package! I have no idea where my package is even though tracking said it was delivered to my mailbox at 10:30 this morning. I have cameras and there was no delivery! There are so many missing and misdelivered pkgs that it seems to be an almost daily occurrence on Nextdoor. Trying to report a missing package is impossible due to the neverending broken links on their website. I even have Informed Delivery and they no longer have the option to state that an item is missing. I'm just disgusted that this has happened so many times since moving to Morgan Hill! read more

I went for a passport service and Peter helped us. He was very cool, interactive, and patient. They have a separate section for Passport services, take left after entering, and then on the right side there is a window for the Passport services. They do have on-site photo service, which is very convenient. The process didn't take much time. Everything went smoothly and we were out in 20 minutes. Definitely recommend this location for Passport services. read more

Having mote than 1 person working when there are 6+ people waiting. Waiting for MORE than 25 minutes. There was another agent at a window, but she had the next window sign up because she was leaving however, it took her 15 minutes in mini questions to the other agent about how to close her bank out.??? I work in Morgan Hill so decided to process why passport as a walk in since its between 9 am and 10 am . got there at 9;30 one family ahead of me while I waited , the lady comes out saying no more walk in when I was next in line just to be told she not accepting anymore walk ins. I had to go in for an important piece of certified mail. It was supposed to be there and it' wasn't there at the time I went in. I called 1 minute before closing and a woman identified herself as Ms Turner (I think). She could have told me to come back tomorrow but she took time and stayed later to help find this piece of mail and allowed me to come and grab it after close. Much appreciated! read more

This post office has one rude employee, HE who will not be named... never smiles, looks like he's a robot and has no empathy. Even in inkling of it. I filled something wrong told me to move to the side, so he can take the next customer. Just like many of the other comments, I never had these issues in Hollister or Gilroy.. the workers at this particular location seem like they make up rules as they go, are rude, arrogant, and almost like they get off on giving a hard time. They will ask questions more to their curiosity as if it is a requirement.. Especially the elder female Hispanic supervisor who talks badly about other locations. We dread coming here every month for our money orders. There needs to be accountability and training in customer service.. not entitlement. read more

I'm gonna only give them two stars because of their hours they decided to keep instead of being able to go there 24 seven the employees there are great but the hours they suck. They need to change that they need to go back to 24 seven because it is a public space access to the public should be given anytime to your post office box not when they want you to. read more

They are careless. They lost my packages multiple times and months later find them. I keep going back asking to find my lost package and old random packages I lost months ago show up. The packages literally look like they were tossed and kicked around in that place for months. One time a male customer screamed at me telling me to get away because I was getting too close to him. (I was in line moving as people were moving and made sure I was giving enough space front and back) Obviously he was racist because he covered his mouth looking at me as if I was some sort of an animal but I assumed that the employees would help protect me from this man because this is US Post office right? I had to get a passport. I was dreading the lines and unavailability of appointments. I finally found an appointment at this Post Office in Morgan Hill. I did my research on passports beforehand and came with my form completed and all necessary documents. This is very important to make your appointment is worth your while. Once I arrived at the Post Office, I was helped on time and I had the chance to work with someone named Laura. She was amazing. Laura checked all my documents quickly yet efficiently. She explained the passport process in detail and what the next steps would be. I felt confident in her expertise and she answered any additional questions I may have had. I was in and out of the Post Office in less than 15 minutes. This is top-notch service. The Post Office needs more employees like Laura. Good job to the Morgan Hill Post Office. read more

This is the worst USPS i have ever been to. The manger is rude. Laura is one of the worst USPS employee that i have even encountered doing any usps work. This USPS is one of the worst centers in the area. The employees are utterly incompetent, arrogant and dishonest. Incidents: - Packet delivery with contents revoved (from CVS Caremark) - Misdelivery of other residents in the communbity- every week - Every week- misdelivered or lost my mails Then the cust svc rep says- "I am hearing it the first time". The last few visits I made to this Post Office was to send off packages via the front counter at the lobby. Maybe it's due to COVID, but the number of customers who visit in person seems to have dropped off significantly during the last year and a half or so. I remember the lines several years back that would sometimes stretch out the front door! Now, there are usually never more than maybe 2 or 3 people in line during my last few visits, usually during the morning before 10am. Counter service is just as efficient and professional as I remember it all these years. I've been visiting this post office ever since it opened in 1989, and moved from the old location on W. Pure laziness and horrible customer service. I got an alert that my package was attempted to be delivered but it was signature required. I checked my door, nothing. Checked my Ring camera, nothing. I don't even have any note at my door so I was confused. I went to my mailbox since I live in a community where the mailboxes are not attached to the homes. I finally found the slip that said , "sorry we missed you"! How would I be able to sign for a package when they didn't even attempt to go to my door? Am I supposed to wait at the mailbox all day so I can catch them and sign? I went to this post office to complain and they said the package isn't here yet but most likely it will be back before end of day. One of the workers said, "come back before we close at 4pm, and you can pick it up." I went in at 3:45 pm, and they are closed! The lobby was open until 4pm but the office closes at 1?!? I love this post office. Everyone is friendly, the employees and all the people who come and go. Everyone that works there have been a huge help with any questions you have and when your waiting for them to hand you a package they got sent there on very busy days they apologize for the wait and get it as fast as they can for you. I recommend this post office to anyone that wants a POBox with a all around great post office. I know all my mail is safe. And the prices are not to bad either ! read more

This is one of the worst opening hour post office for PO Box pick up. They collected and increased fee on your box but always fail to open at 6am. How about a little service and accountabilities. Post master please take note. read more

Pretty nice staff at this location. Sometimes their postal machine is not working which is pretty inconvenient. They are otherwise about the same as most other post offices. One issue is that they are always out of the supplies like the certified mail tags, mail.forwarding packets, etc. They usually have the priority and express mail stuff. read more

Review for passport applications. First, they don't take walk-ins. Even if the place is empty, they will turn you away (as they did me). Just FYI. Second, if you have a ten-year passport that is expiring and you want to renew it, you might think this would be something they would do. However, they don't want to help you with that. The woman I spoke to let me know that I should apply by mailing in the form. What about the photo I need? I should go somewhere else for that. Can't they do that there? I'm willing to pay. Only for new applications. For me, I should go to CVS or something. So, long story medium: if you're a new applicant, you can use the post office to apply for your passport. However if you already have a passport and you're just trying to renew it, you would be better served skipping the step of driving here and asking about it. They will just hand you the form (which you can also just print out), and recommend you go elsewhere. read more

The staff here is always efficient and helpful. I have never had an issue when using this post office. Sometimes they are very busy but considering they need a lot of people in the back for regular sorting and such, I didnt think it was anything unreasonable. Mail carrier brought a piece of mail to my front door but didn't follow Covid 19 procedures. He handed his equipment to my wife for her to sign. She wasn't thinking and grabbed it and signed. I was so upset but I got to the door too late. He was supposed to ask for my wife's name, sign for the package himself, then leave it for her to retrieve once he was a safe distance away. The post office has to do there part and educate there own employees on how to safely deliver signature required packages to help keep themselves and the community safe!!!! read more

We've had multiple issues with this local post office where our packages have been delivered to the wrong house or we never received the packages. We've called and spoke with the manager Bryan, who was unprofessional and very rude, we've talked to him three times for each issue but has not been resolved. read more

I have two tax return checks that were scanned into the systems and recieved by them over ten days ago . I called several times and my cousin has gone in person twice to resolve the issue . They have not been able to resolve the issue or tell me where my checks are . I spoke to briain well he was polite he was of no help. Asked to speak with the post master and they said ye was un avalible if I would like to leave a message. Thry were supposed to call me back and never did I will be filing a police report.
