Super friendly and very helpful, but unfortunately, I cannot use them any longer. They charge to drop off US postal.

I would like to provide detailed feedback regarding a recent experience at PostalAnnex, as what should have been a simple drop-off turned into nearly two weeks of confusion, rerouting, and unnecessary frustration. On the same day, I brought in two items: 1. A return package intended for the merchant recipient 2. Another package intended for Amazon Both items were dropped off, scanned, and accepted at PostalAnnex. However, both were mishandled: * The return package meant for the merchant recipient was incorrectly delivered to Amazon. * The package intended for Amazon was somehow delivered back to my home instead of to Amazon. These were two separate items, dropped off at the same time, and both ended up at completely wrong destinations, something that should never happen. What made the situation significantly worse was the complete lack of support from PostalAnnex once the issue surfaced. When I contacted Sanjay, I was not offered any assistance, investigation, or sense of accountability. Instead, he immediately distanced himself from the situation and sent me the following message: "The drop off service is offered as a courtesy to our customer. The packages are handed off to the respective carriers. Please file a claim online at usps.com. We do not insure the drop off package's contents or value. The receipt itself has the terms and conditions." -- Sanjay This response was dismissive, particularly considering that both items were scanned and accepted at PostalAnnex, a step customers trust precisely because it is supposed to ensure accuracy and responsibility. When I spoke with USPS, I was told the matter needed to be addressed by PostalAnnex, since that is where the items were physically processed. Yet PostalAnnex declined to assist in any way, leaving me stuck between two parties, each redirecting me to the other, with no ownership taken by the location that actually handled the drop-off. The only support I received throughout this ordeal was from the customer service representative at the merchant recipient, who had no obligation to help but still guided me through the situation and helped ensure a resolution. What should have been a quick, routine drop-off turned into a lengthy, stressful, and avoidable two-week ordeal. I want to highlight one important caution for other customers: PostalAnnex's receipt contains terms and conditions stating they do not insure or take responsibility for drop-off items. Most customers likely overlook this, but based on my experience, it is something everyone should read and understand before trusting this location with packages that matter. I genuinely hope PostalAnnex takes this feedback seriously and improves accountability, training, and overall support, especially when errors clearly originate at the drop-off point. read more

I do not recommend this place at all. I walked in looking for boxes. There was no acknowledgment of my presence. A lady walks in behind me and I hear can I help you. The lady said I believe he was here first. I was standing almost right in front of her theres no way the rep behind the counter missed me. So rude but I asked the rep if they had a certain size box. She said maybe over there. She did not move to go and check until I said are you going to help me but at this point I could feel the energy and said never mind and left. This is the worst place you can use to send your items anywhere! They are not trust worthy. I mailed a box with them and was sent back to me twice. I would have to go every day so they can return my money which was $215 and they said they were not going to refund me. The owner told me to get out of his store and to shut up! They are not professional at all. Please stay away from this place and go to the UPS next to TJ Maxx they are very professional there and nice people. read more

If you are a small business owner, be cautious of using the P.O. Box services at this location. Two years in a row, they failed to notify me of my mailbox expiring. First time, they said apologized and said they would do so moving forward. Again, they failed to send notification. This has severe impact to business owners. read more

Do NOT use their notary. We used it for a legal document. Brenda, their Notary, even asked me the date, but yet filled out the form incorrectly, causing the state to reject it. When I called in to let her know she asked "what do you want from me" and "I am only human". She then wanted to charge me to re-do HER MISTAKE! Completely rude and only offered to re-do once I said I would contact the state to have her license revoked. Terrible customer service, very rude and cannot do the job you pay them for. She couldn't find our signatures when I gave her exact date our fingerprint, name and address was recorded. Then blamed that on me too! Happy New Year to you too Brenda!! Do not use them. After returning and refusing to not leave without a refund and correct document, Brenda did, rudely again. She said she didn't have to refund me and I said, the one mistake on our legal application was yours!! The state wrote a letter saying her date and signature was the problem. On my return, she then tossed the fingerprint ink towards me and I had to ask, "do you want my right thumb print"? (She didn't do this to my husband). Yes. I then wanted to finish my check and application and asked are you writing the date of (correct date of the day!) and very rudely said "isn't that the date?!!?" as I confirmed what she was putting on the correct date. Last time you PUT THE WRONG DATE causing the problem so I will confirm. As a Morgan Hillian since 1987 I recommended anyone but her, again. read more

The fingerprinting service here is expensive and I had to go back twice as it wasn't done correctly. The second time I went in was 2 days after the first and I noticed my paperwork was on the top of the computer with all my personal information clearly visible to anyone who was near the counter. My name, address, social security number, etc. The staff is very curt and unapproachable. I have to get my fingerprints re-done somewhere else because I'm uncomfortable at this place. When I signed up I was told I would be notified by email when anything arrives in my box. I only get a few parcels per year. Year 4, they cancelled my box, never notified me or billed me, and said "we put a notice of amount due in your box". What happened to we'll notify you when you have something in your box or sending a bill? NO, they just closed it. Not acceptable. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I definitely would do so! I called to track a package and spoke the owner, Brenda. Not only did it take her over 10 minutes to track my package she also had to ask my last name three times she was VERY rude! I asked her to relax as I was not being rude to her she said she was not being rude. That was bold face lie, I then thanked her after I received the information I was looking for all she said was yeah and hung up. I called back and ask for the manager, she then said she was the owner I explained that her being a small town business she should be a bit more pleasant and that was horrible way to be to customers. Went in for passport photos and notary service. Of the 5 pictures we took 3 were denied by the USPS as they were too close and blurry, which meant we had to shell out more money to get it fixed. When I notified them of this they asked for proof of refusal in order to refund my money, not very service oriented. They don't use the same template that the passport acceptance facilities use to determine if the photo meets the current standards, and when I asked them about it they said they have it but couldn't say why it wasn't put into use. read more

Minus two stars for the foul attitude of Hugo, the finger printer. LoL Oh my word. Super rude. Still at Postal Annex five years later. ANY amount they charge is worth not standing in line at P.O. or dealing with local delivery on our private "lane". Lots of porch mail theft, miss- delivery of mail and or pkgs, some vendors won't ship to P.O. Box, and just seeing packed parking lot at P.O. discourages entering. Explored one UPS store in Morgan Hill, one in Gilroy. Meh. If cost is your problem - go to P.O. . try Costco This is a very small business - they are nice, accommodating and I get my packages. I use Morgan Hill P.O. for mail (big box) but not pkgs, in nor out. As for the mask, put them on speed dial, call from your car and ask them to mask up as you are coming in. All of them will comply. Brenda chooses great employees. The mask will be more important as covid Kicks into very high gear. We, in this area, rarely run into an infectious individual. That is changing. The vaccine is not bullet proof. Don't complain - request compliance. After going on six years I am confident this business will be sure to help. I just TEAR off my mask as soon as I get to my car (and I have forgotten it, too). read more

I went in to get something faxed and was told it would be $3. I said it's only $2 at the UPS store on Constitution, why is it $3 here. It's a different store I was told and they can charge what they want. I don't know if that's actually true. I know that it is illegal for one McDonalds to charge a different price for a hamburger than any other McDonalds. I believe that is true for every franchise. My opinion is that the owner is just a thief. I'll never go there again. read more

Do NOT recommend this place. They were completely empty this morning, yet they (especially the woman with darker hair who did my notary work) could not muster up the barest level of customer service. Aggressive attitude. What kind of notary needs to keep checking their phone to know what the date is? Or blames misspelling the customer's name "because I'm still waking up"? (this was at noon). When I paid extra to have my boxes sent home 1-3 days with priority shipping (which by the way they charge $4.00 more then anywhere else for the priority flat rate large box a whopping $22.75) I expect that's what I will get. But it was false advertisement. I paid for a service I didn't get. I called complained after 8 days of my box not getting to the destination and they said "they don't guarantee anything" and I couldn't filed a claim for 30 days. It has now been 9 days and my box is still not there. They have now ruined Christmas for my family. Don't pay extra for service they will not give you. read more

I was in this location today for the first time an I will never be back. The only reason I went there is I had to get something mailed and it was near my bank. I said I needed a roll of stamps of 100 and I was informed that the cost was 65.00. When I questioned the clerk about them price I was told that the price of postage had gone up to .65 per stamp. I said don't like that but purchased my stamps mailed my letter and then got to thinking that I had purchased stamps last month and paid 55.00 not 65.00. I called them back and informed them that they had over charged me 10.00 to much and I was informed that they could charge what ever they wanted to. I call the post office and informed them of this practice and they told me they are Allowed to up sale the stamps but that was unreasonable. They lie to customers to sell their products. Don't go there!! If they had informed me that they sell them for 10.00 more I could have decided if I wanted to pay the extra money. Don't buy supplies or stamps from them unless you want to pay more. Very bad business and I hope if that is the way they do business people do not purchase stamps or supplies from them. Please see package sent by UPS, except contents were stolen before it got to the receiver. Also pic show there were no scan out once it got to San Jose until a week or more later the package show a Las Vegas scan after we put in a complain. Guess what UPS would not even deal with us because we sent it from postal annex. Postal annex 6 weeks later called and said they will reimburse us for 113.00 on stolen package except the shears were about 1700.00. And the thief is still working at UPS and will continue to steal from UPS customers. We never have a problem ever shipping with the US post office. There are absolutely no accountabilities at UPS. You can never speak to any one except for their 800 number. Never again use a postal annex or ups. I actually think is the driver because it show a pick up but never show an arrival scan at San Jose facility. Then once the shears was taken out the envelope was just randomly throw into the Las Vegas cart and leave without scan. I am sure this is not an isolated incident since UPS employ so many. read more

Went here today to get UK passport photos as the previous ones I had done by Walgreens were rejected. The staff were super friendly and helpful and they even printed my photos four times to make sure they were the correct size. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone needing non US passport photos. read more

I went in yesterday to take my passport picture and the lady who helped me gave me some cloudy pictures which I didn't think looked good and she blamed it on the scarf l was wearing. Today I came in and told Quinn about how I didn't think my pictures would get approved cause they were too cloudy. She gladly helped me and looked up my picture on the printer , was able to brighten it up and print it out for me to replace the old ones. They looked amazing! Like night and day. What a breath of fresh air! This place makes Morgan Hill a better place to live! I rent a post office box here. Not only is it economical, you get a real street address(no P.O. Box issues), it's right next to the grocery store(Safeway), restaurants, dry cleaners, etc.(so you can do all your errands on foot!), and the staff is AWESOME! It's a family run business, and I'm constantly chatting with the staff about everything from good eats in town, the weather, or just how my day is going.
