I'll drive over and deal with the madhouse parking of this UPS location versus the one in Midtown. Somehow they seem to employ a younger crowd possibly students, yet the service and efficiency is much better than the one on Middlefield. Notary here doesn't move like molasses and they scan efficiently and can type quickly. Parking is not as efficient. read more

This store had 2/3 of my packages and sent me on a wild goose chase to other locations. I did not find my package. I found the incorrect UPS store it was delivered to using their own website. Worst possible. I once made a mistake and had a form notarized for a credit card at thi place. Initially, it was filled out incorrectly by UPS, so it was rejected. When I approached them to rectify the issue, they wanted to charge me again. After some discussion, they waived the fee, but the form got rejected again!, and the credit card was closed. Why? Because when the credit card company inquired, they claimed that no one with the name on the notarized form had visited their office!!! In had another issue with this UPS store; I returned an item to Amazon, but it never reached them. Amazon assumed I hadn't sent it back and charged me for the item again!!! I strongly advise against using this UPS store unless you're prepared for unnecessary headaches. read more

Great location, super convenient if you normally get your groceries at Trader Joe's and need to mail something out. I used this place for a care package of groceries (chocolates, delicacies, you name it), but the package somehow was not delivered in Philadelphia. Would have given 3 stars or less for this mistake but the company did manage to get me a refund. Was such a shame because my package included some very personally meaningful things and I wish it had been delivered reliably. Giving so many stars because the management helped me get a refund, even if it took a few weeks of calls back and forth. read more

Highly recommend this UPS store. Came in with a cumbersome and fragile computer part and laptop computer that required shipping across the country. Hector took charge, explained how they'd be packaged and made us feel comfortable that our items would be safely delivered. We are happy to report that both items arrived on-time, thoroughly packaged with protective bubble wrap, perfectly sized boxes and in pristine condition. Does not accept checks. Not a good choice for businesses or estates that are restricted to check transactions. I asked if the store on Middlefield takes checks. The young attendant did not know. I asked if he could find out. He said he didn't know the phone number. Not an unusually low level of service from a 20-something, but not helpful. read more

Parking here is a lil crazy. The employee wasn't the nicest person around. I had an amazon return and the qr code. He told me that they no longer take just the qr code, that I have to package the item and they only print the label. I showed him the amazon app and the email I got from Amazon but he didn't care. I didn't want to find another UPS store so I had to pay like $4 or $5 for a stupid envelope to send back a tiny item. read more

This is a terrible and unethical store, don't do business with them! I am a student at nearby Stanford University and came into this store to ship my 24" Apple Thunderbolt Display back home to Seattle. I paid for the store's packaging service. This was a big mistake. The store improperly packaged my device, and as a result it was delivered to my house with a large crack in the screen and dents to the frame. UPS did an on-site investigation at my home and found that the store's faulty packaging was responsible for the damage (no protective foam was used, and the box the screen was shipped in was also improperly put together). I contacted the store's owner/manager, Vikram Patel, about the issue. He proved to be a very dishonest man. Vikram flatly denied all responsibility for the damage, accused UPS corporate of being responsible although it was his store's poor packaging that caused the damage, and he also made all sorts of false statements about me, such as claiming that I had the screen "shipped for parts only." Uhhh, why would I have my $1000 screen shipped for "parts only," Vikram? After a few email exchanges, Vikram continued denying responsibility, making dishonest statements, and eventually began to ignore my communications. Other shipping stores---with better customer service---might have accepted responsibility for their own shipping guarantees​ and the outcome of their own company's investigation. Not at UPS Store #6105 though, where the very dishonest Vikram Patel presides. After I spoke to him a few times, I was not surprised to later discover that Vikram embezzled a token $100 UPS corporate had issued to his store (to be reimbursed to me) to cover the damage to my device (although the damage to my screen is far more than that). All in all, this store, and Vikramin in particular, provided terrible customer service and I will never come here again, and encourage other people to avoid this place as well. Vikram, I'm still open to you reaching out and fixing this issue. At the very least, refund my shipping costs and the insurance money UPS sent to me through your store. Pocketing that money, from a college student no less, is a bit low... read more

I was in the area and had a box to ship to the east coast so found this location perfectly convenient AND open until 7 pm! I was greeted the minute I walked in. The staff person assessed my situation (I already boxed, he weighed/measured) w/insurance and the timeframe for the delivery. I'm usually prepared for these types of visits so had the address written out as well as any print outs that had to be included, so it was all done beforehand. I was in/out within ten minutes. Worst experience at a Ups store Ive ever encountered. All the Ups stores in San Jose take usps packages that get picked up by the post office. The only thing they were remotely helpful with is pointing to the computer where I printed out the shipping label I needed. I didn't even get a printed receipt for the internet time I had to pay for. Three guys behind the counter and not one of them helpful. I will never go back to this ups store. I suggest if you need to drop off a usps package you might as well go to the post office or a drop box. Being in Palo Alto you would think you would get way better service. I don't recommend going to this location for any of your needs. Completely disappointed! read more

This place is located in the town and country village off of ElCamino. Minus 1 star for parking. Place is easy to get to. The lot is fairly large but it is always busy. Cars are coming and going in and out. Ok to find a spot to park, but across the village.. You just have to dodge everyone else. I came here to get Notary services. The place is convenient. It was fast and quick. I was able to get hellp right away. I was able to get in and out in about five minutes. Notary service 10$ and got the job done. read more

I didn't think sending packages could be a 5-star experience but the staff at this UPS store proved me wrong. Two of them particularly, I believe their names are Brazil and Tim/Tom, have helped me several times and really made the chore of online shopping returns quick, painless, and 100% effortless on my part. I know it sounds weird that you should be loyal to a shipping store but this place has earned my business for the foreseeable future. Sometimes when I receive bad customer service elsewhere I think about mailing myself a package just so I can experience fast, friendly, reliable service again. Do not come here for passport photos for the sake of your time. They shrank my image, leaving a wide white frame and still the size of the whole photo is much less than 2 by 2 as measured by a ruler I picked up in the store. There was a weird number on that white frame and the photo was cut into a irregular shape. What a crap! The staff has no idea of how to set the camera correctly but put great effort in arguing. I love this particular UPS store. They are so service-oriented. I wish I could remember the name of the guy who does such a great job. Tall, young, African-American man. I'll get his name the next time I'm there. He just seemed to want to really understand/anticipate what the customer wants. He does all of the little things that take the hassle out of shipping something. And he does so with such a friendly attitude. PACKAGE I DROPPED OFF WITH THEM DISAPPEARED AND DIDN'T ACTUALLY SHIP - I dropped a number of Amazon packages off with them. The first 5 were ok - scanned and I got a receipt. I'd forgotten one package so came back and dropped it off. Didn't get a receipt for this one, like the guy had just given me with the others. It was awkward because I asked twice if he was sure the Amazon's package drop off worked because it wasn't indicating on my phone it did and he did t give me a receipt like the others. The guy kept insisting it went through and I was all good. Surprise, surprise, it didn't go through and Amazon won't give me a refund because they never received the item. So didn't get the refund nor do I have my item anymore. Your job is to ship packages. My package didnt ship and my item disappeared. read more

Fast, courteous, and professional. All UPS stores seem to charge too much for envelopes, etc., and this place is no exception. It's on the expensive side. That said, I've sent close to 100 packages through them over the past ten years, and it's always seamless. They even seal the box for me, add packing materials, and attach the label. Terrific customer service and just the right level of friendliness. Highly recommend, if you're okay with normal (i.e., high) UPS prices. Just like the other comments, the staff (one female in particular) is rude and has a stinky attitude. I needed to drop off some mail so I paid for the stamps and I was waiting to make sure she would put the stamps since my documents were extremely important. I waited for a bit and I asked if they were completed. She gave me a rude remark saying how she wasn't done and acted as if i was completely ruining her day for asking. I have had nothing but the most excellent, customized service from this place for PO Box and mail forwarding. It is run by a great manager, Vik. I highly recommend this place for your business and personal needs. It was easy to sign up, by email, and manage long distance. Mail was forwarded always promptly and impeccably. I have used such services in other UPS stores, and also with the US Post, so I've had the benefit of comparison. Awful experience with them. I was overcharged, then condescended to, and the service was rude and incredibly unprofessional. I'm very unhappy. Two of the three employees I've had interactions with were unprofessional. And not in a "I'm bored!" way - in a rude, dismissive way. They won't be getting any more money from me.
