I frequent this UPS store pretty often and I have to say, when I walk in and Jose is working, his customer service really brightens my day. He has a genuine and kind way of interacting with customers. It is apparent he really cares about making our errands in the store a positive experience. Even when he is helping a customer, he makes sure to greet others as they walk in. During these COVID times, often you see folks just dragging their feet, but Jose somehow manages to stay upbeat and share that energy with the customers. This is my favorite UPS store. read more

I needed to renew my passport in a hurry. I visited this UPS store needing a passport photo and help mailing my application to the passport agency. I was worried that it would be a hassle and take a long time. I didn't have long since I needed to get to the airport that evening for a domestic flight. I walked in and the lady behind the counter acknowledged me even though she was helping another customer. She welcomed me and said she'd be right with me. I like this since I knew that she'd help me next in case someone else came in. I browsed the store for a minute or two and the lady called me over. I told her what I needed and she nodded, indicating that she'd dealt with passport photos and mailing applications before. I found out later that her name is Jessica. Jessica got me all set up for my passport photo, even telling me to try again and "not smile so much". According to her the passport folks don't like big smiles since it changes your face and people aren't usually smiling in the customs line. This is the first time, I've been asked not to smile in a photo. When my photos were done, Jessica helped me attach one to the application and figure out which was the best method at the most reasonable price to get it to the passport agency. She was very knowledgeable and professional. Other customers came in while I was there and Jessica was just as friendly. I got my passport back quickly and without a hitch. I'm grateful for Jessica and the UPS store for making it painless. I'll certainly go to this store again. read more

I usually love this store, but they have a very rude, curt employee in the mornings. Didn't get his name, but he has dark hair. I'm not much of a phone person. I needed to return 3 books to Amazon. I requested the return on my computer at home, but i was having problems getting the scan on my phone. This employee was very unhelpful and just plain mean. He needs to sweeten his disposition. Love being able to return Amazon products at UPS without a box or label. Usually enjoy the experience at this smaller store with lots of parking available. read more

Exceptional service from Ritu! We had an early evening notary request to close on a property and even though they were near closing, Ritu stayed open for us and completed the notary service. Even more impressive was that she thoroughly reviewed each page of our documents to make sure the package was complete and provided additional paperwork to authenticate the signatures where it seemed the regulations were lacking. I went there twice to get a document notarized. I went there because their other store on Alhambra / Virginia Village could not find their notary book. First time I went, notary wasn't coming in for another 4 hours. Second time I went in, it was near closing, and the notary book was sitting out on the counter. But the girl asked me to come back another time. So I went to the Alhambra store twice, and the Golf Club Dr store twice, and I still don't have my document notarized. read more

I recently discovered this hidden gym for UPS. I use to visit the Concord UPS on Willow Pass, but it was always super crowded and service slow. Thus was looking for a new UPS location locally with great service. The staff here are always super friendly. When I have shipping questions I always get details on what's the best, fastest, most affordable route, and when dealing with Amazon returns for fashion show no goes for Halloween/holidays, and lots of return boxes, the staff super friendly and polite! Not to mention extremely helpful. In a world where people are super busy we forget how much great and friendly service is needed and appreciated! I actually enjoy coming to UPS to handle my shipping needs and normally hate running errands. But the service is so great, it's very enjoyable! I would highly recommend this UPS Store over the others. Best most friendly service in town...not just for shipping, but best friendly service anywhere! Thank you!! read more

I mailed a package for on behalf my job today from this location because I am in IT and I constantly have to setup equipment and then mail it out to clients. Few hours after I got a call from someone named Ritu who claimed to be the manager of this store. She told me that I had to pick the 2 day Air options since my item had a higher declared value otherwise the package is not guaranteed to arrive on time. She got my credit card over the phone and charged me the extra amount over the phone with the promise that she will send me the receipt and tracking number. This was around 2:30 PM. I wait until 4 PM and I get nothing. I call the store and they tell me to call the Martinez store because she is possibly there. And then they tell me that she went home already. She even gave me her cell number which I called and sent a text to but I get no response. I can not believe how unprofessional this is. I was fine with the my package, You called me, took extra money from me, and can't even bother to follow through on your end. I work for a major business and this was my first interaction with your store. Hope you realize that you lost a major customer. read more

This place is a ripoff. I went to this UPS store to print a ticket from a USB drive and it ended up costing me almost 5 dollars. They make you use their computer to print and its 4 dollars for the first 15 minutes plus the printing so you end up paying almost 5 dollars! Avoid this place at all cost, they're trying to rip you off. They say locally owned, well if this is the kind of ripoff you get from a local business then better to stick to corporate owned places. read more

DONT USE THIS STORE !!!!The worst experience EVER...... on September 1st I mailed a package to my son at college using the correct name, address , zip code and apartment number. The package when I contained his gaming system and various other items that were important to him. The package NEVER arrives. When I called the store they said it had been marked "undeliverable" and would be returned to the store. His house is located 10 doors down from the main gate of a large East Coast university so I assumed I had made an error in addressing it. When it is finally returned 14 days later the address and details were all correct and the box was dented and damaged looking with holes in it. When o asked for a credit for the 40 something dollars I had spent I was told it was not the stores problem and they would not credit me it was the problem of the local UPS office on my sons town! When I contacted the national office I was told they would only credit my local store and they in turn would credit me! When I returned to the store to pick up the package I was told once more that they could not credit me it was the fault of UPS! And their store is called a UPS store! I have sent many packages to my son that arrived fine from the post office and fedex. This place simply is horrible! read more
