Today was the second time I arrived at UPS and it was closed during open hours. Arrived at 8:15 AM. Store opens at 8am on Thursday. No one arrived by 8:35. Several people came and went. Management needs to step up read more

Poor customer service. They shipped a computer and it wasn't packed poorly and broke. UPS claim took 6 months. Store did nothing to assist. Long hold times. "Accidentally" didn't overnight package 2 days in a row. Call and oddly the calls "drop". Even from a landline. Go here if you want ti be treated poorly, ensure your packages aren't packed well, broken upon delivery, or you are a masochist and want be treated like garbage. read more

If there was anywhere else I could go easily, I would. The drop-offs for packages is smooth and fast. BUT, the employee turnover is constant, so that the staff are hard to get to know and any task beyond a dropoff seems like it's a huge burden to ask, they get defensive (even offensive) and are not organized. This UPS store provides excellent customer service. One employee, Elliot, went way over and above in helping me create a document. He listened carefully and came up with creative solutions and was incredibly patient every time I wanted (countless!) changes. The staff often takes the packages and the printed labels and doesn't attach the label, but places it on the counter behind the cash register with the unattached label. When things get busy, there are many packages with loose labels unattached, and things get very confusing. I know this for a fact because I have gotten two packages, returned to me because the label did not get attached and one package of someone else's from the wrong label getting attached to someone else's package, I do get attitude when I request that they attach the label before placing it on the back counter behind the cash register from one particular staff member. read more

I have used their services for our company's Holiday gifting. They are by far the best way to go when sending several dozen boxed gifts. They do all the work and all I do is send them the excel file and drop off the boxes. I highly recommend them. They are truly in the service business. read more

Love the new management! Was in a pinch. Dead printer. Needed to get a form printed. Saw the sign "We Print". Headed in with my file. 2 minutes later I had my print out and a big smile from the friendly service from the new folks behind the counter. So great to have this handy resource in PV so close to my son's school :) Looking forward to next time I have some packages to send too. read more

I love the workers at this location. I think they are so helpful. Every time I am here and need help with something they are always prompt in their response, know what I am talking about, are friendly and helpful. Like all UPS stores, there are only a few employees so sometimes you have to wait your turn but I don't think that is the fault of the employees. You just need to have some patience. You'll be happy when you talk to the lovely people who work there. They will treat you well. read more

Went to this UPS location to print out some stickers for my business. The staff was extremely friendly and greeted my upon arrival. Even though the store was fairly busy the staff was able to get my request taken care of quickly. The owner of the store was also very friendly and even opened the door for me on my way out, which was a very nice touch. Terrible service. Stood here waiting to pickup packages while the clerk ignored me and helped others who came into the store after me. I tried to prompt him for help, and he ignored me. After he helped several people after me, he gave me attitude about needing to stand in the line. Sorry guy, but it's not that hard to count to 5 and you knew I was waiting by the mailbox register. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and advise you to do the same unless you enjoy disrespect. It's not the first time my family has encountered this kind of BS here. read more

There is nothing more frustrating than coming to a UPS store to mail something while being stuck in line for almost 50 minutes. People behind us have gone and left because they were so frustrated with the amount of time it's taking. During the time we were waiting in line, I was able to go to the bathroom next door, get coffee, and fill up my gas tank. 50 min later, still in line and still in the same spot. Diogo was really sweet but it would be completely helpful if there was another person there to help with all the difficult requests the people ahead of us had. read more

A week ago, on a Friday, I went to this store to ship a package to Minnesota. The employee quoted a few options, including delivery by Monday afternoon using the USPS. I mistakenly assumed for the $135 price quoted that was Express Mail, which was my mistake. The receipt had a single line item, Priority Mail, with no disclosure of the actual postage. When the package was still not delivered by Thursday and I tried to track it, the post office manager in Minnesota called with apologies, but told me the actual postage paid was less than $61. The undisclosed "surcharge" from this UPS store was $74! The store owner claimed that UPS sets the surcharges, but UPS corporate refuted that. UPS corporate sets only the prices for UPS services, so this franchise owner has found a way to improve profit by encouraging purchase of unregulated USPS services, where the class of service is deliberately misrepresented. There was no way for this package to have arrived in Minnesota by Monday afternoon for this class of service. This business practice seems fraudulent, and the owner's lie about UPS's policy confirms that customers might be better off patronizing a different UPS store. read more

I arrived at 8am (when they say they open) and no employee arrived until 8:30am. Customers came and left because no one had arrived to open the store. Finally, when an employee arrived (name was Michelle?) she did not apologize for being late but instead said, "yah there was traffic." I told her I had sat outside for 30min and she just shrugged. I then needed to mail an envelop over night shipping which cost $45!!! This same service is $15-$20 at USPS. Future customers, you have been warned. read more

The new ownership at the UPS store in Ladera is outstanding. We had a large handful of time-sensitive notary forms to fill out before leaving town and couldn't make it to the store until five minutes after closing. We made a quick call to the store and talked with Binny, the new owner, who said he would be glad to stay open a few extra minutes to help us out. Or paperwork took much longer than expected but he was glad to stay to help us out. We are delighted our neighborhood UPS store is so customer oriented. read more
