I've been in this store a number of times over the past couple of years, to ship out boxes which I was billing to a customer's UPS account. So, it has just been a quick stop and always very easy and fast. Well, I just didn't notice the copying machines in there and recalled them for deadlines I've had over this past week. I went in to print from a flash drive, copy and fax and used their work stations to arrange the paperwork and prepare for mailing. Not only was their station clean and fully equipped, with easy, high quality machines, but the UPS crew helped me many times for tiny issues that I needed help with, even letting me use the computer to resolve a file issue which was pressing to meet deadlines. They helped with shipping tape that I needed, even gave a AAA discount (!) and never seemed annoyed when I asked for a number of things. I was in and out of the store a few times really pressed for time and they were friendly and fast and helpful, helpful, helpful. Despite the busy shipping line, they somehow were always able to multi-task and stay calm. They were flexible with a number of things and I couldn't be more thrilled to have found a copy shop up here on the Peninsula, rather than the trip down to Torrance. Thanks guys! read more

I have been relying on Art, the manager of this UPS store for a couple of years now, for my mailbox, printing and shipping needs. It has started to feel like Art is part of my team or a family member. He has rescued me many times with same day printing. One day, I had an event but had forgotten to bring a clipboard and Art loaned me his personal clipboard for the day without hesitation. Originally, I came to only check on shipping rates to Alaska. However, after some fancy repacking & from the Manager, Art, I was able to ship my packages with ease & in a cost effective way. This store needs to have an express line!! And/or they should ask if there is anyone in line that has a quick drop off of a package, before they help others with lengthy package requests. Seriously, for those of us that are just dropping off Amazon returns and need a receipt for our drop off, a quick scan and printed receipt takes 30 seconds or less. But to make me wait in line behind others who take upwards of 20 minutes to get their packages situated to be sent is ridiculous! I have had to leave this location multiple times due to this issue and return at a later time, with hopes that there is no wait. read more

The worst ups Store. I had to ship out one ups box and a few pre paid usps packages. Ups Redondo always helps out happily when we are in a bind and our office is closed. In this case, we were in Palos Verdes ( we just moved to the hill) my first encounter with the PV Store was shockingly unpleasant. The person at the counter looked straight into my eyes after he saw the packages and said " oh we don't take US postal packages . Never. Just UPS " Wow. Lied straight to my face as tho I was too dumb to comprehend he just didn't want to help!? When I told him we moved from the beach and Redondo ups Store told me when I am in the rare crunch, just take it to the PV Store. Yeah. Never again. I understand if the ups store in PV does not wish to help out and accept our packages. But lying is never a good thing. When he figured out his lie went bust, he back peddled and responded " oh we don't accept so many packages ( it's a small bag). Mind you we have an ongoing and great relationship with ups and ups mail innovation. My company works well with ups for years. Hope they do well in PV with ONLY the selective few customers they LIKE to help. Good thing Redondo UPS Store is only 4 miles away. Makes me appreciate the staff there even more read more

The UPS Store is essentially the only place to make copies on "the hill." So, professionally, I have been using them for several years when I have a job that I would rather not smoke out of my machine. They are always $50-$200 print jobs, which I email with payment in advance. So, yesterday, I emailed my job before 1:30, called to say that the email was there, and that I needed to pick it up at 4:30. I was a little late picking up the order at 5:15, and the store had 1 staff person and 3 customers. After waiting for 15 minutes for my "turn," he looked around for the copies. He couldn't find them, so he called the manager of the store. The manager would have been able to tell him that there were no copies, but he dithered around for a few minutes "looking for the copies." Then, he came back and said that the attachment had not come through. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? You would have known this right after I called at 1:30. You couldn't respond to the email? You couldn't call at the phone number that leave with every single order? If you don't even have enough respect for your customer's time to contact the customer when there was an issue, then you don't merit my time or anyone else's for that matter. read more

The workers at this UPS Store were friendly, informative, and efficient. They were able to provide me with various options that suited my specific needs and answered all my questions. Also, I was surprised to find the various services they offered, besides packing and shipping, such as large copy jobs, passport photos, notary services, business card printing, personal mailboxes (where you can have packages delivered, and etc). People at this store are helpful +++. It's difficult, for me to get out of the car because I use a walke. If I have a med. to large box, I can't carry it. So, I pull up to the front of the store & call them. Withiin seconds someone comes out, gets the package & they are very courteous. I was there another day dropping off two packages and getting a copy of a key. The stuff is amazing! They had so many customers in line and moved quickly, smiled to everyone and just overall attitude is admirable. I have been a customer with this UPS Store since they opened on the hill. The staff and manager here are simply superb. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and they always go above and beyond to help. Parking is easy. They tend to be more busy in the afternoon so I go there in the morning and I am in and out within minutes. The employee was very helpful. After dropping off a game system which needed replacement, I realized that we had left a $60 game inside. He unpacked the whole thing, retrieved the game, packed it back up, and cheerfully gave it back to me when I returned 10 minutes later. I only visited this store once; I was from out of town, and dealing with the sudden death of my mother. I needed to ship some family mementos, photos, and keepsakes home to Canada -- several boxes. The gentleman in charge (Art?) was so kind and helpful. He figured out how to save me money by sending all the boxes as one multi-item shipment. He helped me to fill out the long, long customs form. He built me a custom box to hold an odd-shaped painting. He was courteous, considerate, and genuinely nice -- a pleasure to deal with especially at such a difficult time. Everything went well, and I received my packages in Canada much sooner than I expected to. This has been a great UPS experience, and I really appreciated the professionalism, efficiency, and friendliness of this particular store.
