Diana M. World Class Service by UPS Store #5218 at The Rim in San Antonio, Texas! I was moving from Texas to Hawaii--UPS at the Rim saved the day! I had tight, confirmed schedules to transport a dog and car, scheduled airline reservations, and lease termination on the corporate type apartment I was living in with computers, documents, clothing, and personal items to pack and ship within a certain delivery timeframe and unable to do it myself. I could find packers that couldn't ship my stuff and shippers that couldn't pack it. I went to the owner of the #5218 store and said I needed help. Without hesitation he said he would help and he did! He arranged for the store manager and one of the staff to do it all from beginning to end. Staff came to the apartment and within a few hours had picked up my stuff, took it to the store, and packed it and it was shipped from there and delivered without incident. The store manager followed up with me in Hawaii to ensure all went well! It just makes me feel good to know there are such very good people and a business like the UPS Store at the Rim that cares and does a terrific job. I thank them all and encourage everyone in the area to use this business--they do a lot of things from mailing, packing, shipping, notary, printing, passports, etc. and are professional, courteous, and caring. read more

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT SHIP WITH THIS COMPANY! I sent Football tickets to a client on Wednesday through the UPS at The RIM. I paid around $25 to have them arrived 'GUARANTEED' by Friday to Dallas. They arrived in Dallas Friday night to the UPS hub due to the snow. I called UPS on Saturday to see if they could deliver them a day late and they said 'no'. Even though I paid for Friday delivery!! Then I asked for my $25 back since they did not live up to there GUARANTEED arrival. NOT TO MENTION I HAD TO PAY FOR NEW FOOTBALL TICKETS! The General Manger at the UPS store at The RIM said she could not refund my money. WHAT!!! All she wanted to do was to blame it on the snow even though on Saturday the tickets were 30 minutes away from my clients house and it was NOT SNOWING or ICY! If I could give this store a ZERO I would as the General Manager was one of the rudest persons I have ever met. I told her I would never use her services again. After that she started screaming at me to never come into her store again and she was kicking me out. How can you be kicked out of a place you don t want do business with anyways?? Awesome Service!!!! Went in there right at closing time, with a fragile sentimental item I was needing shipped expedited. Cindy, the employee working, took the item wrapped it up with such care and began boxing it up. After it was wrapped and boxed up I stated that I was still concern it may not be enough protection, without any hesitation or frustration Cindy ensured she was an expert in shipping fragile items. She took my package and repacked it in a way that makes me confident it'll get to its destination next day and in one piece. I really recommend shipping from this location! read more

Extremely impressed by the overall professionalism at this store. I am not the most computer/printer savvy person, but Alice and Cindy were a huge help in getting my files off of the computer and on paper in a timely manner, with the upmost kindness. As my job has me travelling on a regular basis it is nice to meet people who care about your time and deliver fantastic customer service, in spite of my admittedly sometimes flustered and sometimes overworked behavior. I love a swift and hospitable transaction when I'm running errands. I appreciate the warmth and attention I receive when I visit this location which is why I drive out of my way to use this store. Had a hilarious conversation with Cindy last time I was in and was helped with a complicated transaction. This is by far the best Ups Store around. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Always greeted with a smile!! Came in on Friday and Cindy was the only one there. She could hardly talk due to allergies but still did a great job helping me with my shipping. She did a great job multi tasking. This is the only UPS store I will use. I have stores much more convenient but Alice is such a joy and goes out of her way to be helpful.
