Absolutely 5 Stars! After having such a rough experience at the USPS I was a little apprehensive about my time at UPS, but I was pleasantly surprised at my encounter. First and foremost there is dedicated parking in their lot so that was plus, then I only had to make a few short strides until I was in the facility. I was greeted right away and asked if I needed help carrying my items to the register, I am a strong independent woman so I lifted the box containing a vacuum on their counter. The UPS rep was so nice, scanned my return barcode, before ending the transaction he asked if I needed to anything additional like printing or tape and I didn't but it was nice of him to ask. He gave my receipt behind a coupon for my next transaction and was in and out within 5 minutes. This was the best experience I've ever had at a UPS store. Service was exceptional. All of the employees worked in synchrony and there was never a line. I was able to get my document printed and notarized all in under 10 minutes. Price was fair. read more

Needed a couple pieces of tape to finish wrapping a box and this store couldn't spare it. Only solution was to drive home or buy a $5 UPS brand packing tape which was hilariously bad. I did, and donated it so others wouldn't have to be nickel and dimed like I was. Doubt they'll offer it if this happens to someone else, but here's hoping. A cent worth of tape would have gone a long way. Bad way to do business. read more

For years I rented a private mailbox at a Postal Annex location in Mission Valley where I was very satisfied. When the owner of that store notified me he was leaving, I decided to move my box to this UPS store in Point Loma. When I did, I assumed all stores like this were the same. That was the furthest from the truth. The guys here understand the importance of repeat business and do all they can to make that happen. Everyone receives a warm greeting and if you're a regular, they will often greet you by name. I know of a lot of businesses that offer excellent customer service, but there are only a few places I would put in that top-tier and this is one of them. This store is open seven days a week, including some holidays and has extended hours making it easier for those who have restricted schedules. In contrast, my last box was only available six days a week, during bankers hours, with shorter hours on Saturday and closed on Sunday. What a difference and a refreshing change. If you rent a box here, they offer email notification when a package is delivered. At my last location, I had to try and guess when it would arrive. They have a dedicated parking lot next to the store. It's small, but you can usually find parking and if it's full, you don't have to wait long for a spot to free up. A lot of people seem to mail packages through here and do Amazon returns. They always provide the best customer service and move people through quickly and efficiently. If you need help with anything, they are very patient. They also offer other services like notary, passport photos and shredding to name a few. The isn't just a store. The way these guys run it, it's a valuable asset to the community and the gold standard for representing the UPS Store brand. Keep up the world class work guys! read more

Today, we came to do return services. The gentleman that assisted me was so kind. His service was speedy, but it still felt personalized. I really appreciated that he suggested things I didn't think of. For example, my returns didn't come with a receipt, but he prompted me to snap a photo of the tracking number. I would absolutely suggest utilizing this location. He didn't even want to be named specifically. He said the entire team deserves the same appreciation and I believe it!! I came here to print a single sheet of paper. The free parking garage next door is convenient, and even though the staff were busy, I was greeted right away and my questions were answered. They have an email address you can send documents to for printing, which is simple enough. The problem is the cost. One black-and-white page on standard computer paper was $2.30. That's outrageous. I had Amazon email me the return label instead for $1. I can't imagine what the bill would be if you needed several pages. read more

Got fast and quick service when I was just dropping off package. Parking in building free too

The customer service was great but I had a few issues during my time at the store. I did have to send multiple packages and they were eager to help but I felt overwhelmed when my items kept going from one package box to another and constantly moved around by multiple people and it was hard to keep a track of it. I would have like to have had the option of picking out the boxes too especially since it was very costly for each box and I came in with a coupon code and didn't see it reflecting on my receipt for the coupon yet it said it went through which wasn't the case? Looking at my receipt now I see too many additional costs added on that I wasn't told about? I wish they were upfront about the additional prices and services so I could have picked out the best option and pricing. And lastly, one of my bags handled was torn off and I wasn't told until I came over and saw the handle dangling and one of the reps only said "oh" but never said sorry or offered anything for the damage... I was disappointed because the bag was an item from Disneyland.. if I were to come back I would like just one person helping me because it was an overwhelming having multiple people handling my items read more

It used to be great but one guy in particular has lately been rude and dismissive. The others are fine. Also, they recently lost or plugged in the wrong data and Amazon charged me for the goods that I dropped off at this ups store. Unfortunately I can't find the receipt from ups store. This has happened at least twice. Now I save ALL my receipts. I'd switch stores but this is the closest to me. Also, parking is terrible but I guess that is not their fault.
