The girls had a little attitude not sure where it came from As I am a businessman I was here for business service they seemed a little perturbed that i was here for business and that was unusual for them to ask a lot of personal questions and then had an attitude when I did not answer them so that needs to be adjusted. She was so patient and helped explained everything including shipping guidelines for my international package. She went above and beyond and helped assured me of my package. If I could put zero stars I would. I went today and there was a sign on the door saying they would be back in 15 minutes. I waited for 20 and when the lady came back. I asked for tape which she said would cost money, I was a little confused cause I haven't been charged before. I then asked for a slip. I said it was a little inconvenient to wait for 20 instead of 15. She then wanted to refuse me service and said I was rude. Where is your sign refusing service UPS? I had to basically beg her to take my package and even then she was still extremely rude!! I have never been treated like this before. UPS should invest in hiring people who understand customer service and also enough people so you don't need to close for your employees lunches!! Incredibly disappointing today!! read more

I am a single father and decided to take my 6 yr old son with me to fax some paperwork for court. I was going thru so much in my mind and taking a 6yr old to a place like this ain't the best idea. Not fun for a kid. But Devyn a very beautiful girl(employee) was so nice with my son. He liked her and they had long conversation while I wrote and got my paperwork ready and order for fax. Made it so much easier for me to do everything. Very attentive and courteous with a great attitude and great customer service. My son still asks when are we going back to see her. Lol For my first time visiting this Ups location I was well received by Priscilla. She was courteous and very helpful with my need of use of Internet on their desktop. She even gave me ideas for something I was trying to do. She then fax my paperwork with a great attitude. We need more employees like her. read more

I personally think giving this place even one star is a little too much for the service they provide. The person at the counter was rude and they charge you for using their tape which I think is ridiculous! I've been to other UPS stores they always have tape and pens outside for people to use! I didn't have cash on me and they don't take card anything less $5. So had to buy unnecessary items just so I could use their tape for the address! Never coming here! read more

I visited this location yesterday and was very extremely dissatisfied with my experience. I came in asking about the cost to ship an item and placed near the scale. I was rudely told that I needed to buy a envelope to put in it. It wasn't until after I placed it in the envelop that I was told that the price would be $16. That is too high of a price for me. When I asked for a refund for the envelop, the girl at the counter told me that it wasn't possible. I already have envelopes at home and didn't need this one. I asked for a manger for a refund, but she said that they weren't present. Why wouldn't she tell me that before I was forced into putting it into an envelope? She could have given me a quote before I wasted my money. She was very rude and although I have used this location many times in the past, I will not be returning. I would also like a refund. Employees should not have bad attitudes towards undeserving customers. read more

Don't waste your time with this store. I went there to have documents notarized. The lady clerk said it's $25.00. When given my documents she said they don't do Homeland Security (FOIA) documents. She had no explanation when I asked her why. I left in disgust and went to the UPS store 5 blocks away. Not only did they notarize my documents but it also only cost me $19.95 including scanning and emailing of documents to me. read more

Just your everyday ups store with most of the time above average customer service. I have been going here for years with all my ups needs and never have had any trouble. Customer service here is very friendly and they are always more than happy to provide extra tape on your packages without any additional fees. Never have to really worry about long waits here either. The staff are pretty efficient and generally they get through lines pretty quick. Only downside is that sometimes they open like 10-15 minutes late. That has happened to me a few times and to a friend as well. I just go at noon now so it is not a big deal. read more

Convenient location but parking is ridiculous. I go way out of my way to the Almaden Expressway location when I have lot to drop off. Recently I went there on Saturday morning and it was still closed way after their posted open time of 10am. I was very upset about that! I left about 10 after to go to a different store. Lived across from this place for two years so when lazy I use the location and have learned their ways...that being said, that aren't the friendliest workers here and their social skills seem to be lacking, as well as their "informative" skills...if you don't know what you're doing or have a bit of knowledge on what the typical cost for mailing your package should be, then ask questions and ask them repeatedly. Know your options and comparable prices with other shipping services, otherwise if you say nothing they will just charge you the most expensive price regardless of what you state you "mind" (in terms of time delivery, regular or first class, ground, insurance, etc) meaning, if you don't know what you're doing they aren't going to try to help you with the "cheapest" option for what you require. They won't even list you your options. Know what you're doing and have everything ready when you walk in and it'll be fine. 2 stars given because it's a convenient location for me and my packages have always reached their destinations. I send enough mail out that by now I know what I'm doing, otherwise I'd definitely go elsewhere. And on a last (unimportant note) it's ALWAYS blazing HOT in here no matter the temp outside!! This is the worst UPS store I have seen around. They basically want to squeeze money out of you. This has been my experience many times in past there with most recent one this morning. I went there with my package and my prepaid shipping label in my hand. I asked the lady behind the counter if I can get a piece of tape to put my shipping label on the box. She answered "We charge for tape, are you ok with paying for that?" I was shocked, who asked for tape to fix the shipping label on the box. Every other location, USPS post office, Postal Annex, Fedex give out that as a courtesy to customer. I forgot to ask how much she was going to charge me, because for a dollar or so you can get a whole bundle of that tape at stationary shop. I think this was ridiculous to charge for a piece of tape to fix my (expensive)pre-printed shipping label to the box. All I was asking for maybe 2-4 inches of tape. Ridiculous, Cheap and shameful for UPS part. I hope they read this review and do something about it. -Furious UPS customer. read more

Had to stop in at this location by chance. I had a last minute package that needed to be delivered via UPS Overnight. I was skeptical to utilize an independent retailer but to my surprise I was completely satisfied with the quality of service and professionalism provided by the clerk. Coming from a corporate industry to this place that is smaller than the mailroom at my company really made me feel confident in my choice to utilize their services. The clerk was extremely helpful and very informative, friendly but professional, explained my options and made a few suggestions that allowed me to decide which one I felt would best suit my needs. I highly recommend this store for any UPS shipping needs I waited for delivery confirmation of my package before I wrote this review. I paid $30 to overnight a card to my Mother for her birthday and Santhi "helped" me. She laid out the tag and reviewed the info with me. It is now a week and a half later and I have been informed they will not be able to make the delivery until Monday... TWO WEEKS FOR AN OVERNIGHT DELIVERY. The reason they stated was because it was addressed to "mom" instead of stating a first and last name, something Santhi never told me as she filled out the form but still had no problem collecting my money. Apparently the apartment number (of which there is only one, with one person living there) was not sufficient. I was told I could not get a refund and had to accept paying $30 for an overnight delivery that took two weeks. I will never use UPS again. read more

Very nice and very helpful. I needed to print out over 100 pages and I was just dreading the price but it turned out very reasonable and I was in and out within a few minutes. Only downside was they didn't have a heavy duty stapler but you can only ask for so much. overall the woman was very friendly and helped me with the computer as I had never done it before. Would give a zero if it is an option. I went to drop off a return package and needed to print the return label. They claim they print then charged me $2 for using their computer for 3 seconds to print, besides the printing fee.-- I simply don't see how I could print without using the computer! Then I was charged another $2 for taping the box!! It was a regular small box and all they needed to do was run the tape across the box. I was never charged for that anywhere anytime. And I only got to know that when I asked about the supposed to be nothing but turn out to be more than $4 charging. read more

Absolutely amazing customer service! Not knowing the exact time the other associate would be in to notarize my documents, the associate took the time to call her to find out an exact time that she would be on site and also notified her that I would be waiting for her. The other associate arrived at the time she stated and immediately notarized my item. Both associates were very helpful. read more
