Rudest manager Eric, and his staff. Was ok before, never had a problem but today was not. UPS ground delivered a package to us, box was smashed and contents, glassware were broken. Figured local ups store would be more understanding and customer service oriented as per their website values. We wanted to show them what their company did, even if you are a franchise, you represent UPS. So first thing said was you need to tape up the smashed box. If they do it, they will charge $10 for tape, label need to be printed, if he does, charge $5, for one page! Ridiculous, and an embarrassment to UPS store values, what customer service! The old management and staff where extremely pleasant, helpful and courteous. This new management team acts as if they are doing you a favor and their are no other options for your business. They give horrible service and treat their low level staff like crap. It was very hard to watch, especially the two women and older man, who I believe might be part of the new ownership. Their is one particular women who always has a look on her face of disgust and disdain. She is the worst of them all. She should not have face to face interaction with customers as I have personally experienced and have seen her behave inappropriately with customers and staff in front of customers on several occasions. When I attempted to discuss the customer service complaint with the manager, they told me to just go ahead and post my negative review. He was extremely arrogant and rude. I engage in a lot of shipping for person, professional and philanthropic business and several locations. I have never has such an experience even when I was frustrated due to a lost package. Al though this is the closest to my home, I will never patronize this location unless I learn they changed ownership again. I hope you don't patronize them as well. I wanted to send a friend a package, but didn't want to wait in line at the Post Office in this shopping center. So I took the box to this UPS Store and asked them to quote me on the rates with UPS and USPS. The older gentleman (the manager/owner?) gave me the riot act about how UPS is better. I didn't mind the info, but he talked down to me like I was a child. When I insisted on getting the prices for the 2 services, he passed me off to one of the other employees. I didn't appreciate his attitude and would NOT recommend coming here. I did send my package, but only because I had already brought it in. During COVID time there is a bit of a wait, but that's not their fault. The people here work hard and have good customer service skills. Having a box here with a real address not a PO Box has been great- I live in a neighborhood where mail is stolen all the time. Alexis Nunez helped me with a package address, that I was having trouble with and was so very understanding and explained to me how the address works for International Delivery. So I don't ship anything through UPS personally, so my review does not reflect that. I am only basing this review off on the employees, picking mail/packages (I opened a mail box there 1/2 a year ago), and dropping off prepaid returns. The store is small and it gets a bit overwhelming midday with the large amount of packages sitting in the back corner of the store. My business here is usually quick as I'm only dropping off or picking up. If the main person is busy, another person would wave me over to help me and I'm out in just under 2 minutes. There's a younger girl that has been working there for at least a year (I've only been coming for a year) and she's always so pleasant and friendly, with a smile on her face. read more

Contrary to some of the other reviews I find her and the staff empathetic and customer service oriented. The people working behind the counter are constantly busy with tending to customers and organizing the packages as they come in. I have noticed the employees give the same high level of service if the owner is there or not; this was not the case with previous ownership. The past 2 weeks I've dropped off at least 5 packages for 2nd day air. And it never gets shipped out the same day. It is usually late by a day or two and I dropped off the packages early in the morning too around 10:30am. Should've learned my lesson by the second or third time that happened. I've also noticed most of them doesn't seem to handle the packages with care when you drop them off. Scales are ripping you off! I weighed my package at my lab on a calibrated scale: 9.05 lbs. Took it to this UPS store to ship: 10 lbs 1oz. That difference made over $10 difference in shipping costs. I questioned "John" at the store. All he could say was that the scale is 0.00 when empty, so it has to be right (this is called taring, NOT calibrating). When I asked when the last time it was calibrated, and to see the calibration records, I was asked to leave. This is a blatant scam! read more

I feel exactly what the previous person said, if I could give this store a zero, I would. The reason is what I have experienced below: 1. Went to the store to drop off a package for my business. Had the airbill but needed the mailer envelope. Asked the male employee for a legal mail envelope. He proceeded to leave the counter and go where you can purchase tape and other items and grabbed a manilla folder. I just stared at him in amazement. Now mind you, this person is NOT new. He's been there for a while. Luckily the girl was there and she pulled an envelope from the cabinet. 2. Came a few days later asked for a another mail envelope. Another male employee went in the back and brought out a box that only a wallet could fit in it. My husband asked him if he thought 156 pages of legal paper could fit in there? He responded "oh yah". Now mind you, he saw my legal packet. 3. The Notary that is there, I believe he is the manager knows nothing about being professional. He yells all the time, "going to take a smoke" then stands right next to the door so the smell fills the office. The majority of the employees talk to you like you are their buddy on the street. Just too familiar. 4. The place is ALWAYS super dirty. 5. Most of the employees walk around like they don't know why they are there or what to do. So sad. Say that is POOR management This is the only place in my area so can't go to another one to drop my packages off for my business. Would drive up to 30 miles one way if it was to keep from going there. Anyone who has been there knows i am telling the truth. read more

I usually get in and out of this place pretty quickly unfortunately the manager or owner or whatever this person is he smokes a whole lot and you risk second-hand smoke poisoning just to go in here he stands right in front of the door and smokes so the building is filled with smoke and you have to cross over a plume of smoke to go inside.
