I have been a customer here for years and love the personal attention I receive. When a package arrives, they send me an email to notify me that it is there. Not going to get there in time to pick it up after work? No problem. The package is left in a locker in the lobby (open 24-hr to boxholders) and the key placed into my box. The owners greet me by name every time I walk in. Going on vacation? No problem.The mail is collected and saved until I return. She was helpful and provided me different pricing on shipments. Unlike the UPS store I've gone to in SF, she gave me the option if I wanted to put a tracking or no tracking for my mail. Honestly, you're better off going to the UPS by Bayfair. Even though it's the closest UPS store to me, I've had some bad experiences. One trip, their computers were down and instead of providing solutions, I was told immediately we can't accept anything or help you. Definitely awkward to walk into and silently walk out of. On another occasion, I needed tape and was told it was 1.00 for not even 6 inches of tape. People STOP going to this UPS store. According to the store lady (not the usual people) they have change management. It is now the WORST UPS store! I was a loyal customer before. There was a Indian lady ( forgot her name ) she is friendly and know what needs to be done. Now everyone in there is terrible and not idea what they are doing. Made appointment for notary and was told that the person who does it left already. Person working there was very rude. Told us they don't take appointments as we showed them our appointment confirmation that we printed from the UPS website. Will never go there again. Was in store for a live scan and gave my fingerprints on 5/20. Just found out that due to a system glitch they weren't submitting. Wasted a whole 24 days waiting for something that should have taken 48 -72 hours! I am livid and requested a refund for the negligence and apathetic response by the manager. Hard to believe that this place has gotten worse since my last review. Reading the other reviews show that everyone is experiencing the same issues that I am. Its NOT all of UPS as my packages are not having any problems GETTING to Oakland, its after they get there that the issues begin. I am so glad I chose this location for assistance. I called around 1:45 pm and got in at 2:00pm and was done by 2:15. If your in need of notary services then this is a great place to use. Everything was smooth and it took less than 5 minutes to get it all done as far as the notary services, but I also went for additional services. We went there on the 15th, we were waiting for a medical device to arrive, but selller required signature, so driver left a note on our door that instead he took it to this store, at 6:43pm, I got a text from UPS saying that the package was delivered and ready for pickup. We went there immediately knowing they close at 7. We got there quick since we were very close by. The employee said there was no package. I pulled up the web page where UPS started that the package was dropped off, but she had already locked the door, absolutely no compassion, even after we told her it was a medical device that we need. read more

They charged me $4.00 for two black and white copies on flimsy paper with terrible ink. He said it's because I used the computer to insert my flash drive. I could have gotten better quality printouts for .09-cent each at any office store. The fact that he didn't tell me up front that I'd be paying $4 for two sloppy copies makes me suspect they are hard up for money due to terrible service. Bought a roll of bubble wrap in the evening, and needed to return it the next morning (My wife thought it should've been gold plated for the price). I was told they didn't do cash returns, and pointed out mine was on a credit card. She couldn't get a manager on the phone, and she wasn't authorized to take returns, so i couldn't return it either way. This is like the "who's on first?" of bad customer service. I try to keep my business local, but will never go here again. Too many other places offering identical goods without shady business practices and horrible customer service. Notary Rashmi Anand was very accommodating. She notarized documents for me that needed to be done in a hurry and with short notice. She agreed to wait for me at closing time and was efficient and reasonably priced. read more

I've gone to this ups store for everything from lamination to shipping. The service has always been great.

I always come here when I need something printed out or faxed. The older woman (manager?) is always very friendly and helpful. I was having an issue with my items being faxed to my bank and she sent it out for me 3 times with just one payment. Thanks for being patient with me! However there is a younger girl there (long red hair) who always seems to have an attitude and just seems like she's got better things to do than be at her job! I've come in a couple times and just walked out because she's in front other than that I would highly recommend this place! read more

Very nice remodeled store. They have so many services to offer you. Their staff is the greatest, best customer service I have recieved in a while. Very friendly and seems to be like they try the best to their ability to help you how ever they can. They may charge to pack a lot but if you don't want to pay do it your self....its a convinious to have your items pack, then will be ship by promise. This is the second time I've given this UPS Store a chance I had a very disappointing and counter with this facility the guy that waited on me her name was ivy not very friendly at all. She was rude and very sharp with her answers told her I had three things to ship she got a box then she weighted I guess and handed me a piece of paper and said pick which one you want not telling me what I was looking at or what I was supposed to be looking at and I asked her and in a rude way she goes read it well I'm 70 years old my eyes aren't the best thing in the world and I did not have my reading glasses thank God I had somebody with me so I picked and chose the one that I wanted then she gave me a price I said okay let's do it so she went ahead and started the transaction got done with the transaction and the price was $5.97 higher and I asked her that's not what you quoted me she goes well you have to pay for the Box I just know you gave me a quote of the X amount of dollars on a different system don't you understand slow down girl. Are they really bad attitude so I agreed Bader the money and then she goes out to all you need okay I left and I thought something was very funny she did not close the box or tape it or put the address on it she just pushed me out the door now I'm thinking oh my goodness what is she going to take out of there I can't prove it I didn't see her see all the Box that really made me upset that's not good business especially when you have a person like her with her attitude that's such a profile. This is the second time I've had a problem with this facility UPS I go to your other store at the lucky shopping center over on Hacienda people there seem to be very nice and I have no idea what I want to the greenhouse except maybe I was at Safeway and decide to go there bad experience again. There were 2 people helping one customer, but they immediately called to the back to get a 3rd person to help me. She was friendly, professional, and efficient. I was done in about 7 minutes. Address is incorrect, should be 655 LEWELLING BLVD in the Greenhouse shopping center. My experience with this store was unprofessional and does not rate any stars, in my opinion, giving it one is very generous. This UPS store does not deserve to be affiliated with the UPS company. The stores, I understand are individually owned, but UPS should take their name off of this store. I agree with previous post, lady who I assume is manager never smiles and rest of staff are about the same. I don't think they know what customer service is about. Seems to just be concerned with taking your money and could care less about the customers. Agree with previous posts that box and shipping cost is WAY OVERPRICED than other mailbox places. Find another shipping place in San Leandro to send your packages or getting a mailbox. A store that wants and appreciates your business and has better prices. read more

I used to think ups was better than the postal service. I had a few Amazon packages to send back so I thought this would be the easiest way. When I went into this location there was one employee, a woman, helping two customers at once. I was next in line. Within the next few minutes there was at least an additional 6 people behind me in line. The employee easily showed how stressed and flustered she was. She announced that she is going to take people with packages that only need to be checked in and are already sealed and ready to go. So instead of being helped first, like a lined is supposed to work, I was helped after five other people who all got there after me. Finally another employee clocked in and asked the woman employee what's going on? She explained that another co worker decided to go to Costco. Are you kidding me? You really just said that out loud after what happened?! Unfortunately, this is my closest UPS location but I will not avoid this place at all costs read more
