Customer service tip: if your first words to a customer are basically 'not my problem', maybe it's time for a new line of work. I walked in with a return, and before I could even show the app instructions, the staff lady squints at my package and goes: "Yeah, I'm not taking that without a shipping box." Zero attempt to help. Zero effort to even look at my phone. Instead, I get a lecture on her 18 years of experience (congrats?) and a not-so-friendly shove out the door with 'go find another store'. Apparently, solving problems or keeping customers happy isn't part of the training here. Maybe she just hadn't had her coffee, but hey, if you want to start your day with attitude and not answers - this is your spot. Beware of undisclosed "pick up fee" of $20 if you ask UPS to deliver your package to this store! I was out of town for my package (a new iPhone) and asked UPS to hold it at a hub for me to pickup. They held it for me at this store, and when I went to pick it up, I was told that I couldn't have my package unless I paid a $20 fee. If someone had told me of this fee up front, I would've just let UPS keep trying to deliver it to me until I got back. Charging $2 to tape up your box is atrocious and just downright insane. Yes, people don't have tape or will forget to tape their box. I get nothing is free nowadays, but $2 to tape up one box?? If I could give zero stars, I would. This was my first time mailing my tax return, and I made the mistake of trusting this UPS Store to handle it. Instead of being helped by a trained employee, I was assisted by the owner's teenage daughter--who looked around 13 years old and clearly had no business handling important documents. She told me UPS doesn't ship to P.O. Boxes. Fair enough. But when I asked for clarification, the owner himself assured me it would still get there because they "reroute" packages once they arrive at the destination. I didn't know any better so I went ahead with it. They knew I was mailing a tax return with sensitive personal information, including my Social Security number, and they still encouraged me to ship it through a method that UPS does not even support. I paid $144 to send this package--based on their false assurance. A week later, my tracking shows it's lost. Gone. My federal tax return, lost in the void. To make things worse, they botched my name and address when creating the shipping label, which made it nearly impossible to get help or a refund. Why? Because the unqualified daughter handled the transaction and entered everything incorrectly. Now I'm stuck spending weeks trying to track down my private documents and fight for a refund I may not even receive. The staff has been very kind helping me with this issue but I have to say the owner is irresponsible, unprofessional, and completely unfit to handle anything beyond bubble wrap. The place is a money grab. When I went in to mail something, I needed a small box which I was willing to pay for. When I saw the total, price for the box, I was shocked. The box was $7 which I was ok about but then she charged another $4 for tape to close the box and yet another $4 to tape the box "packaging services" So $15 for "packaging". First time at this location and I saw the line out the door at 330 when they close at 4 on Sunday! My first impression was oh no! But the employees were busy serving the customers helping each and everyone with shipping Christmas gifts, processing returns ect. The service was exceptional and very friendly and professional. Id had a simple return, but needed a receipt for records and this place did that. They off live-scan fingerprinting here which is really cool for those who need it. I usually visit this location due to it being the closest UPS store to me. This store gets very busy; but, the employees are always polite and greet every customer. That is important since some UPS stores are not as friendly. Customer service is and will always be important for me. I did an Amazon return this afternoon. I didn't even open the package because my older daughter couldn't go on her field trip due to a false/positive two weeks ago so there was no use for her hiking boots. I swear I was the quickest customer there. My return/transaction literally took 20 seconds. I did have everything ready to go so that probably expedited my transaction. I waited waaay longer due to someone literally returning 10+ items two people ahead of me. When I left, there were about 6 people behind me waiting in the warm sun. DO NOT buy your stamps at this UPS store. They are now marking up stamps by 250%! A global Forever stamp is currently $1.45 at the post office. UPS is charging $3.70 for the same stamp. I have been buying all my stamps there for eight years and never minded the reasonable surcharge they used to have. But suddenly they're adding 250%? I left a 5-star review here in the past, and I have always enjoyed my frequent visits to this store. But aside from the unfailing great service by Benny, I am less and less impressed since the new owners took over. read more

This store is super slow & usually takes forever for transactions. Today took the cake though. The lady behind the counter insisted that I shut the door because she was cold. I'm disabled by a recent respiratory infection, therefore I wear a mask at all times and limit indoor contact with others. This is why I was in the doorway while they slowly assisted other customers. It would be fantastic for you all to be inclusive of customers with disabilities and try to protect your own health with increased ventilation. Wear a sweater & open the door. Every time I have an issue I have post a review...call it therapy. Go in to drop off packages, wanting to get a receipt. 2 people working - one helping someone and the other on phone so I wait. Another customer comes in, gets his mail and is sorting through and guess he has a package. Guy on phone (he's the owner by the way) gets off and helps the person who came in AFTER me first. Fine...he finally asks me to come over and has to clear off the scales with all the stuff on top. Then phone rings and he answers and instead of telling the person on phone to hold he proceeds to help him/her!!! I just stand there to see how long he's going to ignore me. Lucky me that the person on the phone wasn't ready with their stuff and has to call back. Honestly I say again if it wasn't for the convenient location I would leave this place. Before assisting me, she dealt with a difficult customer who was supposed to get her packaging done at USPS. The Ups Shop provided me with a five-star experience. But, after reading all of the nasty reviews on Yelp, I must confess that I was concerned. The company from which I purchased provided me with a tracking number, and I was able to track the cargo for pickup on my phone. The website was frequently updated. They offered a delivery window for the day of delivery and called ahead of time. I called them twice on the day of the delivery to inquire about the delivery status and was able to connect with an attentive representative. The package arrived in wonderful condition. There was no evident damage to the package or its contents. Don't be discouraged by the negative feedback; give them a shot and you'll be glad you did. read more

If you're dropping off any Amazon packages make sure they're taped/sealed because they will charge you $2 for a piece of tape. The whole point of using the ups drop off option with Amazon is convenience and I have never been asked to seal my drop offs at any ups store and I use this method to do returns in several cities. This ups store is just sneaky and trying to rip off people on every transaction they can. read more

Very bad service. They lost my package in spite of charging too much and blaming it on USPS. I will never use their service nor recommend this office. If u want to ship to a PO box number, just use USPS service. If you to go this store (UPS), they will charge 3 times and lie to you that the fee is same as USPS. Please avoid going this store. Normally here the employees were really nice and tried to get me the biggest discount possible, but now I feel like with all the fees and upcharges it is frustrating. I understand needing to run a business, but it is getting ridiculous. I came here to get a box for a larger plushie and then I realized it was 14$ for a standard moving box I already had at home. Maybe it was my mistake for not opening the box before checking it but I wish they had offered to cut the box right then and there because I ended up getting upcharged on the measurements later for essentially empty space in a box, or atleast telling me they didn't have the proper size boxes. I know half of this maybe I could have known, but I am not a shipping expert and it would be nice to get more guidance without asking which the previous people used to do offering to cut poster tubes and other stuff for me! read more

3 stars because I've had standard (not excellent, but not bad) experiences at this location frequently in the past. However, today I had a disappointing experience. I stopped by to do some Amazon returns (I had about 6 or 7 items because I was returning leftover party supplies after an event). The transaction went smoothly, though the employee was clearly slightly annoyed that I had so many returns and made a show about wrapping almost every return in clear plastic in front of me (I do Amazon returns at UPS frequently, and no one else has ever done this). Then, after the last item was scanned, I got a lecture from the employee about how I should be wrapping my returns in clear plastic because it's "easier for them and better for the planet". I'm not sure how much clear plastic suitable for packaging items the average person has laying around their home, but we definitely don't have any. Amazon also specifically indicated that none of the returns I brought should have been packaged, so that sounds like an issue this person needs to take up with Amazon, not their customer. As a customer, this experience was frustrating and disappointing. The last thing I need as a grown adult is a lecture when I'm following directions (especially when I've been given grief by UPS employees in the past when I haven't followed Amazon's return directions exactly). I sincerely hope this person directs the energy they spent trying to correct me and likely other customers to take up the sustainability issue with Amazon directly. I'm going to keep following the directions from Amazon to avoid issues for myself, but will just avoid doing any more business at this UPS. read more

Beware. The cost to mail packages at UPS store is double what it would be at the post office. Plus they are rude about the cost. I understand the business needs to make money but a package that costs $60 to mail at the post office costs over $120 to mail at this UPS store. I was the last-minute customer that tried using their services while they were about to close. Believe me, I hate being that person but in this case, I was in desperate need of utilizing their printer to print out my exam that's due before midnight and usually all of my exams are online. But Benny and Qamariah were so nice and understanding. They welcomed me inside after I told them I don't have access to a printer and they even helped assist me in printing out my documents because honestly, I had no idea how. They were very sweet and gave me wonderful service. I recommend anyone who needs help to go to Benny or Qamariah because they will be glad to help you but don't be like me the last minute customer.
