I was the last-minute customer that tried using their services while they were about to close. Believe me, I hate being that person but in this case, I was in desperate need of utilizing their printer to print out my exam that's due before midnight and usually all of my exams are online. But Benny and Qamariah were so nice and understanding. They welcomed me inside after I told them I don't have access to a printer and they even helped assist me in printing out my documents because honestly, I had no idea how. They were very sweet and gave me wonderful service. I recommend anyone who needs help to go to Benny or Qamariah because they will be glad to help you but don't be like me the last minute customer. I had a Christmas package that said it was delivered but was lost :( and reported it to UPS Corporate who told me to talk to the store I shipped it from. This UPS Store handled it so professionally and with empathy, explained the process, worked with UPS Corporate on my behalf. I understand that I may need to buy supplemental packaging for return Amazon orders, but charging me for tape seems a little much. Two extra dollars to close 1.5 pound package is progress actually; on earlier packages I had to buy a whole tape dispenser at what was a very high markup. I wrote a very detailed review on this store yesterday, but it is deleted. This store has changed ownership recently. The owners and their kids are treating The UPS Store like it is their personal playground! Kids are always behind the counter bossing around the employees, answering telephone, not knowing what is going on and missing up everything. It is a very unprofessional place now. It used to be a great store. Do not let the 4 Stars fool you guys... The 4 Stars were from the previous owners. If you guys look back in to all the reviews... There was 1 negative review in 2013. There was 1 negative review in 2014. There was 1 negative review between 2016 to 2020... And ... with the ownership change... kids and unprofessional running the store... In 2020 there were 5 negative reviews... And this year in 2021... there is already 1 negative review and loll... we are not even 15 days into the month first month of the year! I used to really like this location mostly because its right next to my house, but then they got new owners. There's always so much chaos going on there and so many people working behind the counter. I think the owners kids are working there as well. Super weird! I feel bad for the employees that aren't family lol the kids are SOOO bossy, they carry themselves with this sense of entitlement because their parents are the owners. I've been a few times now and the last time I ended up just walking out because the line was too long plus I cant stand watching their annoying kids while waiting. Benny looks so annoyed with all of them too! hahaha lmao the kids clearly have no idea what they're doing, when he tries to help or direct them they insist on not needing his help (mind you they're like 9 &10) and even back talk him. The parents just stand there and don't even say anything, I was actually super shocked by their behavior! Even the adults and owners really don't have a clue about anything!!! It's a huge cluster F*&k. The lady owner constantly reminds everyone about there successful Danville location, but I think she needs to start putting that same energy into this location. I have a mail box here. I went in today to check my mail & saw that I have a slip in my box for a package. Some of the employees were tending to other customers so I waited for my turn. This one green haired employee must have passed by me twice to serve other customers that came after me while he never even acknowledged me. After waiting for about seven minutes or so, he was going to tend to another customer when I jumped in and said "Excuse me! I have a package!" He said "I'm sorry. I didn't see you." He passed right my me twice & didn't see me? This place has gone completely down hill with the new ownership. No customer service, no friendly smiling faces, no care for their customers. The old ownership was far superior. They & their employees knew how to treat customers. Even the new employers, who are non existent, don't treat their customers right. They seem to only be there on the weekends only & when I did go in for service, they just wanted to take my money & rush me out. No smiles. No thank yous. Just a very bland look in their faces. No wonder their employees are so rude. The follow the example of their bosses. There is one employee who is friendly & knows how to treat people. He got hired on from the old employers & he is far superior than anyone else here. His name is Benny. If you must go to this store, I suggest you deal with Benny. He's the only one here that will treat you well. I highly recommend that you take your business else where as I will never give this store anymore of my business. I have been using this UPS Store since it first opened. They are amazing. Always professional, courteous, kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I have never had a bad experience or seen a grumpy employee. The store blows me away with its consistent hiring of exceptional employees. Nothing is too small or too big a job. They have even taken my prepaid shipping and labeled fedex packages to hand to the fedex driver when he pops in to the store with deliveries. I would've given them ten stars if I could've. I was surprised to see some of the negative reviews posted. We've had nothing but a pleasant experience at this UPS store since we moved into the area a little over 4 months ago. Mind you we mainly visit the store to drop off Amazon returns and it's always been such a quick, easy and nice experience. The staff we've encountered are very friendly. We certainly appreciate their positive attitudes as I understand things are starting to get much busier in the store with the holidays. Avoid this store. total rip off. I went to print 2 sheets and had it on my USB. none of their printers was not reading the usb stick (not my fault). the owner - sonia asked me to use the computer to print the docs as the USB was working on the computer. so I printed it and instead of charging me for just the printed sheets, sonia also charged me for the computer time ! total rip off and cheat.I used it for a less than a minute but got charged a few bucks and I dont mind paying if my intent wS to use the computer. but it was not my intent. I did not want to use the computer to print it. and more importrantly she sent me to use the computer as the usb in the printers dont work. When I explained this to her, she rolled her eyes became very confrontational and spoke rudely- which was essentially psychological tricks to get me to back down and pay for the computer time. its shameful to cheat customers this way. if the usb in the printer was not working then FIX IT else dont charge comp. time. maybe she chose to not fix it so she can charge for the computer time. either way shameful. read more

I've been coming to this location for years, and over the years we've used their notary services at least a few times a year. Never thought about giving it a review, but I thought I would share my experience earlier today and found the cause of problems I've just experienced from another recent review. NEW owner and owner's kid behind the cash register...I walked into the store seeing unfamiliar faces this morning. While that didn't bother me, what took place soon thereafter sure did. I asked to have two signatures notarized, and my request was promptly attended to. Whereas I've always been asked how many copies of the notarized documents I need (mind you, it's a two-page document and not a 50-page book,) no such gesture took place. I then asked for two copies. As the notary was helping me with the copies, a teenage girl took the helm behind the cash register. The notary told her to charge for 2 signatures and 2 copies, and that's when I told the notary copies were always complimentary with paid notary service. He then said "oh, ok." The teenage girl behind the cash register heard the exchange and said, "2 copies, then. We charge for copies now." Like I said, it's a two-page document. Even when I'm charged it's only a few cents. I don't get worked up over pocket change. However, it was the way she denied the acknowledgement of the notary, who is many, many years to her senior, and the fact she felt entitled to do so in front of a customer who already expressed her expectation from previous experience that got me a little worked up. I paid cash, then I spoke with the girl, who clearly has to be of relation to the owner to exhibit such behavior. I explained again that I've frequented the store with notary service, and I've never been asked to pay for copies. She then said, "well, copy paper is expensive, and it's not fair to ask for it for free." Copies of notarized documents have always been included as part of the notary service in the past. If that is now discontinued, it either has to be explained prior to customers being charge for it or given free of charge with the explanation that it will no longer be the practice moving forward. My genuine advice for the new owner is to train your employees so that they behave in a respectable manner, whether or not they're on the payroll of someone you're related to. Perhaps also to impart what customer service means, so that you stop losing long-time customers over 36 cents worth of revenue from copies. read more

I recently came here to get one page printed and was charged $2.50 for one copy. I was always previously charged only 20 cents for one page. The lady stated she needed to use the computer to print and charged me the minimum computer use time. So basically I was charged $2.25 for the few seconds she needed to open email and hit the print button. Total rip off. Do not come here to print anything. I will be avoiding this UPS store now. read more

I would give this store a 0. I dropped off an Amazon pkg in 1/24. It was a return of a Christmas gift from a friend. When Amazon didn't refund her I started to research where the pkg was. The tracking number on the receipt showed as invalid when I tried to track it. I called the UPS store and was given some ridiculous story about the pkg being shipped with other items under a different tracking number. Hogwash!!!! They hadn't sent it. Amazon recd the pkg on 2/7, 2 weeks later. When I return items using the UPS on San Ramon Valley Blvd I get a notification the SAME DAY that Amazon has recd the pkg. The service in this store is not service. The staff are all rude except one man on the phone, I went to this location because there is never a line. The location on San Ramon valley Blvd always has a line, usually long. Now I know why. They are efficient. This store is highly inefficient. Thank goodness I got a receipt. read more

I was in the store late this afternoon to have a document notarized after first calling to see if I could get something notarized there.  Employee and Notary Jacob Rodriguez spoke to me on the phone when I called and was really nice and once I got there he notarized my document, made copies for me, scanned and emailed pages to me and overnighted the original document for me.  He was so kind and I really appreciated how efficient he was and the excellent customer service that I received from him! read more

I needed a photocopy of some documents in a rush and noticed that the UPS Store offered this service. I went in first thing in the morning and there was only one person in front of me. The lady at the front desk was very nice. She actually made the copies for me and I was in and out in a matter of minutes. Quick and painless. I would totally recommend over all of those self service places where you have to do it yourself and you are getting charged by the minute. I came here during the holiday season and had bags of things to ship. Previously I had been here once years ago and was unimpressed by their customer service. I decided to give them another shot since I was avoiding the San Ramon post office (which has its own issues!!!) and came here instead. I am SOOO glad I did! The lady helped me out and was multitasking with other guests so I didn't have to hold all my bags by myself. She was so kind and saved me money by making sure I had the right boxes etc. I am SO happy with their help and going above and beyond to make my life easier!
