AVOID MAILING IMPORTANT DOCS through this store as there is a high chance it will NOT leave the store, unless you choose the highest priced service which is their policy. my certified mail did not even LEAVE her store. Waited patiently. Its been weeks, the tracking status still shows "not available" EVEN NOW! ITS TOO MUCH. Proof, it was NOT even scanned by the pickup service and hence did NOT LEAVE the ups store. In many decades of sending certified mails and sending 15-20 certified mails EVEN during covid months from other ups stores, its the first time that my certified mail has NOT BEEN PICKED UP (let alone deliver). so what happened? Ben the ups store manager forced me to take a higher-priced service when I just wanted a lesser price one. reluctantly I chose a certified mail with a tracking number. he was very upset with me during transaction. although not certain, I feel it was thrown out by Ben. I DONT want to blame anyone or Ben too and only interested to know what happened to my certified mail. hence requested the owner, sonia, to show the video feed for the time from my transaction to the assigned pickup time. this will show if it was thrown out by Ben OR it left the store. She started YELLING at me !?!?. I purchased the certified mail in her store, I am showing PROOF that my certified mail was NOT PICKED up from her store. I am distraught by this horrible experience from her store and she yells at me?!!?. I am NOT your husband sonia. DONT YELL AT ME for your store mistake. It should be in owners interest to see the video feed to see if my certified mail was thrown out by Ben or it left the store. But owner is VERY dependent on Ben. doesn't want to upset him. NEVER VIST THIS STORE. OLD OWNER was much BETTER. many people told this too. read more

I live in San Jose and the UPS store in my neighborhood is great. My boyfriend lives in San Ramon and I visit the store often to drop off multiple packages that he always seems to have to return. Always easy in and out-and even when there is a line if all you have is a package to drop they acknowledge you and take it right away. Very friendly employees. Highly recommend read more

I was incredibly disappointed with my experience at the UPS store. I noticed how one of the employees was treating the customers before me, and it was very rude. When I went up, I had questions about the return policy and the packing but she made me feel guilty for asking. When she unpacked my box, she talked back to me and spoke to me in a patronizing tone. She scoffed and never looked me in the eye. I was incredibly horrified at the way she treated me and her demeanor in general. I didn't want to put her name down, but based on the way she treated other customers before me, I will have to. Sarah needs to learn how to speak to and treat her customers. I've worked in retail and customer service jobs before, and I've NEVER treated a customer the way she treated me. read more

This is a great UPS store. The people who work here are friendly, fast, and efficient. I ship a few things a month -- mostly online shopping returns -- and I always drop my packages off here. The packages always get sent out the same day and dropping the packages off feels safer than leaving them out on my porch to be picked up. read more

This is the best UPS store I have ever been to. The staff is smiley and always happy to see you. I would rather pay a small up charge and take care of all my postal needs at this location. They are friendly and courteous. I have a PO box here and I ship here regularly. I have also used their Notary, and she's wonderful! read more

Went to this store to use "Live Scan" which is a fingerprinting service. The machine had to be re-booted several times and the fingerprints were not sent to the correct agency. When I went back to have it done correctly I was rudely told that it was my fault and that I would have to pay again. You would think that since they are the ones providing the service that they would actually know the correct codes. I haven't used them for any other service but based on the manner in which I was summarily told it was my problem I am betting that if you ever have an issue they will most likely blame it on you. read more

Went here a few times to mail out stuff. The staff is real friendly and helpful. I had to get shipping cost estimates for a few packages and the guys working there were more than happy to help me with this. I much rather go here than the UPS Distribution Center off Norris Canyon, it's closer and the folks on Norris act like they don't want to be there. Easy parking in front, never had to wait in line. It's better than waiting in line at the San Ramon USPS. read more

I want to personally say thank you to CINDY who was extremely helpful with getting a large amount of presents boxed and packaged. I came in with a huge box of Christmas presents and being that the size of the box was large it was going to be very expensive. Cindy suggested breaking it down into 2 smaller boxes and took the time to re-package them very nicely and saved me money. I was very disappointed that they would turn customers away when they're not even closed yet. I came at 3:40 to get my fingerprinting done but they told me to come back the next day. I asked them why and their reason was that it takes them 20 minutes to finish and they close in 20 minutes. Seriously? Isnt that perfect timing then? And plus, I checked online and it says "walk in only." And when I walked in, you won't do it for me. If you won't really do walk-ins then you should take appointments. And if you really want to leave at 4 then you should close at 3:30. I understand It may have been a busy day, but you can't turn customers away just so that you could leave right when you close. UPS needs to train their employees better. read more

I went into the store and explained what I wanted. They grabbed an oversized, 10 dollar box (clearly not what I wanted). I asked if they had any smaller box, they navigated around my question. They put the box including the package on the scale, it came to 10.80 lbs. Then they said but with packing it'll weigh more. I stated that my item is a strong piece of aluminum, and only needs three feet of bubble wrap. I didn't understand why the up-seller added 5 lbs to the shipment when a little bubble wrap top and bottom only weighs .5 lbs at most. Anyways, long story short, I ended up spending an extra 25 dollars, not because of UPS, but because of the employee. I should have just been a little rude, tell her never-mind, and took my package back home, find my own box, buy some packaging for 2 dollars at a store, and then ship the package. What should have been a cheap shipment ended up being a 50 dollar transaction. Btw, the shipping quote was 20 dollars, box and weight included. read more
