love this UPS location. The staff are all amazing and kind. The store is close by our home and the store is clean and up to date! The main reason I LOVE this location is bc of LUANNE! She always greets me with the biggest smile. She is super knowledgeable and I always learn something from her. Today, she informed me how to tell on my Amazon return if I need to package it or not. Staff is friendly but I have one concern that just drives me crazy with this location...they charge for an email in addition to the print job. They charge for a service that's free. They tried to say it's to pay for the time it takes the staff to open it. It's a rip off. read more

Lisa, the notary, was very helpful. She provided excellent service! All employees here are extremely well oriented with customer service. Lisa made a mistake on a form with complicated out of state mandates. I was expecting this mistake to cost me another $50.00 overnight shipping charge. Lisa made sure the problem was corrected and waived the all cost associated with the problem. Obviously Lisa was embarrassed, but hey, we are human and we aren't perfect. Lisa, thank you very much for making this endeavor right and showing the character of this establishment. The silver lining with this circumstance is how well this UPS Store takes care of their customers, I wish more businesses acted like you did. Today was the third time that I have visited this store to have items scanned & e-mailed, only to be told that they were unable due to equipment/computers being out of order. Guess I should only rely on this location for shipping purposes only, as they don't have the ability to provide ancillary services. Staff is always friendly and helpful. This is a very busy store as they are the closest to the Rio Verde Foothills. They've never failed to provide service with a smile even when slammed with customers. I particularly appreciate NOT having to wear a ridiculous and useless face covering once restrictions were lifted. Pricing is reasonable and within industry standards. Rude, inconsiderate price gougers sums this group up. The owners of this location are notorious for overcharging local residents. Today we went into the store to print something and the manager said the printer was down, then advised us to go to their "sister" store which was the "closest ups store in the area." This was in fact a lie, there is a closer ups store by several miles. The manager sent us miles out of the way so we could spend our money at the other store they own. In summary, the people who own and operate this store don't give a damn about you, me, or anyone. They don't understand how business works. The customer is their lifeline. They have burned many local people and that doesn't project well for their business in the long run. read more

Usually good and helpful. Issue is this time I dropped off a FedEx pre-paid. Their employee (update: it was the owner) looked at it, said that's fine! A week later I find out it was never delivered. I call the store, was told "We no longer do FedEx". But they never called me despite my local Scottsdale mobile phone number being printed on the label of the box they have. Lady there told me "you can come pick it up". Also challenged me about "Who do you think you gave it to?" (turns out it was the owner that had accepted the package from me). Staff was pretty upset I'd left a negative Yelp review because of this issue. They mentioned that they would have eventually taken it next door to the fedex drop at Walgreens. read more

Not only does this store damage your packages and take no accountability, they opened a package and STOLE product from it that wasn't known til opening it. However, since was pre-signed at the door they aren't liable. Side note... They do deliver Covid for free as don't expect they will follow the laws. read more

The worst customer service. They lose packages and tell you that you picked them up already, when you did not. There is no accountability for anything. They simply do not care about their customers or the job they are doing. The woman running this store is extremely rude and not interested in any type of customer service. As a long time customer, I will be canceling my account. The store has really gone downhill with the changes in management. Be sure to open your account at a different store. I use this UPS store for our UPS shipments and amazon returns -- several packages a week. They are always helpful, since I wait for my packages to be scanned and receive a printed receipt. Some amazon returns require them to package the items for me. They are fabulous. read more

My mother sent me a package for Christmas that never arrived. It made it to Colorado but was undeliverable, I was told the box had been torn open and nothing was inside. Luckily my mother had insured the package however after multiple time going in to the UPS store she was told they would not honor her insurance. That is where I stepped in, I find it appalling that they would take advantage on an 84 year old woman. They have now told me that they have resubmitted the claim however that was 3 weeks ago and every time I call they say they will call me back! This UPS store has horrible customer service read more

Staff not even wearing masks in violation of Maricopa county law; I've been there several time and even asked why they weren't wearing masks and receive a "sorry" as an answer. Also, shipped a package that was not only damaged but items stolen out of the package, when i reported to them and tried to file a claim they were less than thrilled to make it right and resolve the theft. read more

I was just there today to ship three items. Since it is the holiday season, they were very busy. But the staff was friendly, greeted me with warm welcome, and patiently helped me through the process when it was my turn. They did a great job of working as efficiently as possible while still being courteous. I had someone who was new and training, but Lori was actively working the front and back of the store, helping where needed, and providing support. The people at this store are amazing. I had an odd sized metal wall decoration that I bought in Sedona and needed to ship home to Hawaii. Initially, the cost was going to be over $250, well beyond the cost of the item, but with some creative thinking/packing, they brought the price down $100! Don't forget to ask for your AARP or AAA discounts too! They packaged the item even better than they said they would which was greatly appreciated. Item arrived safe and sound. I always have a problem with this store. Employees are more interested in socializing than helping. I had to go to the store twice today to get a UPS package that they swore they didn't have. Then I had to call the shipper to get a tracking number, then UPS, who left me a note at my front door indicating that the store had the package. About two hours worth of phone calls. The second time the store owner, who always tells you in the first one minute of listening to your problem says she has been there for 20 years, and all of my problems are really caused by other people. She never accepts accountability for her poor service. All of that socializing takes a lot of time. I never go there unless forced by shippers and never had a good experience. Maybe it is time to boycott so the store cleans up its act. It is a privilege to be in our neighborhood not a entitlement. read more
