I came to this UPS store to send a return to Amazon. Even though I had tried to contact the seller to ask them if they really wanted me to return a leaking item, no reply. So I put the item (dog shampoo) in a zip lock and brought it in. Well, as I thought, UPS can't take a leaking item. The UPS employee was extremely nice and explained why they could not take it. Of course it makes perfect sense. That's on Amazon and the seller. I will definitely come back to this store because of the professionalism and character of the employee. I went to drop off a Amazon return & forgot to tape box shut. After item was scanned, the lady at the counter asked if I had tape to shut the box. When I said no she said I would have to pay $2 for their tape. Seeing that there was packaging tape by the register, I believed she mentioned for me to purchase the tape to close the box so I agreed (since she already scanned the item, and marked it I couldn't just take item back anyway). Instead she just sealed box & charged me the $2. Not once, did she tell be before that the the $2 fee was just for them to seal box, nor did she give me the option to purchase packageing tape & seal it myself or even tell me that the package needed to be sealed before starting the process (I would have come back the next day)! Overall poor customer service & even worse communication with customers. I would possibly understand if it was busy, but the store was empty, with no other customers in sight (even for a Sunday). I'm frequent this location, and I do notice when new staff is hired. Whoever is doing the hiring is doing a great job! These young and polite staff members are always eager to assist and greet me with a smile. Even when the line looks long, they are very efficient at processing Amazon returns and other services. I once encountered an irrate customer upset about having to pay shipping costs. This was not the staff's fault, but I was really surprised at how well staff members were able to calm him down. read more

I went to get a notary done. When I got in the store there was one customer leaving and then the store was empty. I asked if I could Get a notary done, the worker asked if I had an appointment, I said no, then he said that they guy who does the notary is in the back, since it was slow, he would probably do it. He came back and told me the guy didn't want to do it, I had to make an appointment, I said ok, does he not want to do it or is he busy, he said he don't want to do it came back at 300. I didn't know I needed an appointment, and I figured since there was no one in the store, he would Help me. I was wrong. I was a bit surprised that they would turn a customer away when the store had no clients. But it is 2023c and customer service is not a thing anymore. read more

If you need actual help with sending out packages, go here! Seriously. Robert talked to me about my old fashioned brown paper wrap I put on my boxes to cover the barcodes. Not only was it unnecessary but if they tore off, what would happen to my packages??? I didn't even think about it! He literally helped me remove the brown overwrap, gave me the plastic stickers that hold the UPS labels & reattached them to my boxes. I am so relieved that my Christmas gifts will be sent & received thanks to Robert. He really delivered on the Santa vibes. Definitely will be back. read more

I bring a box in for shipment that is not taped up. I know they always have packing tape at the UPS store. They say they'll tape it for me, but it cost three dollars. So I can run back to my office to get the 18 inches, or I can pay the three dollars for something that cost UPS less than $.10 and takes less than three seconds to do. Congratulations UPS store... Justin at the UPS store next to 88 Ranch in Temecula was super friendly and courteous. I believe he may have been new. I had return to send back to Dyson and the UPS store had a special process. On 5/13/22, I arrived to the UPS store to get a notary. There was no one in the store nor the 10 min before going in the store nobody had entered the store. The clerk (Esteban) said he couldn't do it because he was closing up. Note: He had already counted the drawer meaning he wasn't going to help anyone that came in. I had a one page waiver. I am a notary as well and it would have been 3 min. Esteban spent well over that debating I don't know it would take a few minutes. Another employee comes out the back and I ask him the question and he says I am not supposed to be here I clocked out. I have a business mailbox at this location but definitely will not renew it when thT time comes. The store service includes copy and print out but when i come the staff said I have to rent out the computer for 3 dollars and do it myself! Unlike other UPS stores, I just need to send them the document via email or place an order through their websites and stop by pick up my documents. So disappointed and wasted my time! read more

2 stars because the employee who helped me was actually friendly. HOWEVER, I was charged to put a packing tape on my amazon return AND print the amazon return label. This was the first time i've used this UPS store, then one in RB I used several times do not charge for either. $3 for packing tape and $6 to print the label. I turn to look at the line behind me and even the other customers were shocked to hear that I was charged for everything I asked for my amazon return. It was like walking into Cheers, where everybody knows your name hahaha. He has his regulars (not me) and greeted them as they walked in. He was very helpful and saved me some money too. My only negative about this location is the parking. Obviously parking isn't something they can fix but the helpful, friendly employees more than make up for it. I did business with this private post office for 15 years and today I came in to get a legal document notarized. There was literally one person in the store that was being served by another employee. I was the only other person in the store and made contact with the alternate employee. The employee told me that due to store policy, I had to make an appointment in 30 minutes to get my document notarized. I asked him why that was and he told me in case of lines. There was obviously no line in the store. I asked him if he did notaries and he said he did. I said well if I am the only person left in the store, why don't you notarize my document. He said well, that's store policy. This was absolute insanity and laziness. They have permanently lost my business. There is no such thing as customer service in this store. If I was the owner and knew this, that employee would be gone. read more

We have utilized this business on numerous occasions and NEVER had a problem. Staff has always been amicable and handled any needs quickly. Is it "as good as it gets" one might ask - I don't know that answer to that. We like them quite a bit. If we ever have a need to go elsewhere I'll compare it and maybe make it so... Not much more to say, except this next rant: I always recommend a person take some reviews with a grain of salt, because some people have thin skin and just like to bitch, or they do not provide enough information to discern what their real gripe is (true or perceived). An example would be the review regarding the Amazon return noted below (in chronological order), complaining this business wanted to charge them for the shipping fee. We have taken several packages to this UPS affiliated store in the past, related to Amazon and other businesses, and were ALWAYS provided a PREPAID shipping label obtained BEFOREHAND via the company receiving the return! Did this person do the same? Who knows, because he/she does NOT specify that "little" detail. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH, so irritating... but I do like Yelp and use it quite often to check potential places to patronize or utilize. read more

I have avoided going into this store, simply because the same guy that wanted to turn us away was not so kind to me on a separate occasion as well. This review is for the notary service provided at this store. I brought in a signature affidavit to be notarized on 3/12. It was pretty standard, with the box with notary instructions saying only for verifying signature, not a document. So in other words anyone can sign, ID verification is all thats needed. Well this notary was obviously new and confused, looked at it a while and said he couldnt sign it. While we were discussing it, another employee asked him to please help her when he was done, distracting him more. He wouldnt sign. I couldnt get to another notary until several days later, but found one more experienced who signed it no prob. So if you need a notary I'd go somewhere else. read more

I came here today to print a shipping label. Normally it's a very simple process of forwarding the label to the cashier. Today, Gloria refused. I was directed to use their computer for a fee. Fine. However, the computer was blocked by dozens of boxes that needed to be shipped. The second cashier, Rob, told me I could move the boxes myself. I am 4 months into a high risk pregnancy - one in which I am not even allowed to lift my own son but here's Rob instructing me to move several boxes. Disgusting. Clearly the boxes were piled high because Rob & Gloria had fallen behind in their regular duties. I already find it a strange business practice to ask your customers to fulfill your own basic job duties but absolutely insane to request it of your pregnant customers. I travel 5 miles past two other stores to come to this location. The customer service is excellent and I highly recommend this location!

Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the store. And sometimes, like today, people want multiple services at once. OFTEN (and I witnessed this today) people are just unprepared or want documents notarized that have been "adjusted" or edited or appear to be in legal "grey areas." So . . . today, after being told I could not get the particular fingerprinting services I needed, I moved on to other services. A couple came in [the wife with a demeanor that spelled "slickster"] and performed the "disgruntled but trying to be nice" show. The woman continually berated the customer service rep, telling him things like, "I have never been treated like this," and "why are you shouting at me?" (he did not shout). She asked to see the manager because she did not like his demeanor. He told her he was the manager. "Well, then, I want to see someone else. I want to report your bad service." His bad service: "I cannot notarize this document." No matter how many times he explained he could not notarize an altered document, she replied, "That's nothing. I'm just asking you to notarize it." Sometimes we feel we are getting poor service or being mistreated when, in fact, customer service reps are refusing to do something illegal (or something they feel is illegal). When they say they cannot do something because of company or store policy, do not expect anyone to go out on a legal limb for you. No matter what you want, they remain loyal to the company and its policies. They keep their jobs that way. This woman was embarrassing. She was upset because she couldn't get what she wanted. Although what she wanted was illegal, she fully expected the rep to be "all in" with the crime. He was the most calm, quiet-spoken (better than I), and concerned person dealing with this woman. He repeated his objection and did not budge. She wasted everyone's time by repeating her request between belligerent comments about his demeanor. When I left with four passport photos, two copies of a live scan, a birthday card, and receipts for postage and return postage, she was still at it. I think she thought, "If we just don't leave, he will have to notarize it." Didn't happen. So, this store manager is getting five stars for ENDURANCE. read more
