I've been using this location since they opened. I was an ebay seller so was in there a lot!. Back in December 2019 I sent out a holiday gift to a friend in Arizona. it was a hand made glass tray. I brought a big box for them to use their packing services. The employee Phillip (Suki was there as well) advised me to go down in size of box because of shipping fees on the bigger box. I took his advice and said that I just didn't want the tray to break. His response was... no worries! The package was received 12/26 in a Million pieces because there was no securing packing materials. I paid them to pack, secure, and provide a box. This is where the 1 star rating starts... I called to report it and Phillip helped me. here is the timeline of what happened... Made the call on 12/26 Phillip requested the receivers phone#... this is where their involvement ended. UPS called my receiver multiple times, but never arranged to pick it up! they had her get involved and it became a nuisance to her. This was a Gift sent to her! she should have only had to leave it for their pick up! I called the store about 6-8 times to ask for follow-up I got the push off. (oh we have no info, No one is in to handle your situation, we will call you back..... NOTHING MOVED FORWARD) I took matters in my own hands... Called UPS 800 number... they moved the case a bit. then I still heard nothing back. FINALLY had to call the Corporate Services for UPS-Stores. I have over 36 emails back and from from the Corp office! Again Suki NEVER RESPONDED! What I found out is... The extra insurance was never put on my shipment! Clearly this was the negligence of her employee of how it was packed it and not putting the extra insurance on it! Suki Took NO RESPONSIBILITY, Blamed UPS, Denied my calls, was caught in many different answers than the truth! It has taken from 12/26 -2/26/2020 to complete this nonsense! I WILL NEVER WALK IN THERE AGAIN!!! Suki handled this so unprofessionally!! read more

I have always have had good luck with UPS stores, but this store surpasses all my other experiences. Both Philip and Millie were exceptional. Millie was even cleaning and polishing each P.O.Box as I arrived. I had a very unusual large item that had to be shipped which needed to be revised and recut. Millie helped me lay everything on the ground and assisted me in making the revisions. Love this particular UPS Store more than any of the others I have been to. My family has been coming here for YEARS for our shipping needs and whenever anyone asks for a place to ship things, this is the place I recommend. In the last few years, I have even opened up a mailbox with them because everyone has always been quite friendly and helpful. It makes picking up my mail enjoyable, as opposed to a chore. The owner goes out of his way to make sure that your business needs are fulfilled. They even opened their store on a Sunday before Christmas to accommodate their customers. Box all packed. Ups label printed out. Ran out of tape and just needed one piece to seal the box but sales person said they either charge you to "pack the box" or I could buy tape. I was not expecting them to nickel and dime me here since I have been to several ups drop offs that are more than happy to offer one piece of tape to just seal off a box so I did not bring my wallet with me. Lucky me I got to carry my box back to the car in the pouring rain. Sales person was not empathetic at all. She was also on her phone for a full minute before even acknowledging my presence. There is a door bell that lets the sales people know when customers walk in but she couldn't be bothered. Bottom line, ok to drop off your items if it is completely packaged but don't bother getting anything else done here. Sale people don't care about their customers. read more

I bought a box and tape here to send my ups package. I had to go home because evidently I needed to print the return label as the company I was returning the item to had only given me their account number. At any rate, when I returned I left the tape in the car and the box was open as I had a question about the receipt to be placed inside. The lady said the box is open, you want me to tape it? I said yes please (it was about the size of a shoe box - 2 pieces of tape about 6 inches each. As I am preparing to leave she says it is $1 for the tape, and she points to a sign I did not see earlier. I guess they go through a lot of tape sealing people's packages, but it just felt so nickel and dime...poor customer service. I wasn't looking for them to build a huge package and tape it, she was just sealing 6 inches of box. Shouldn't that be built into the business overhead? Or, couldn't she have told me this prior to sealing the box since the tape I had just purchased from them was still out in my car? Feels cheap and unfriendly....won't be back read more

This was my first visit to this location since they started doing USPS. Not impressed. Rude. Very poor attitude. I was attended to by Karla who really seemed like she hates her job. I would prefer long lines at the post office than to face that attitude again. Was told that each package would be $1.90 each than if I took them to the post office. Ok, so I walk in around 3:00 pm on Saturday afternoon with medication that I need to overnight to my Dad, knowing that overnight means Monday arrival. I explain what I want to do, and Philip tells me that I just missed the overnight pickup. Ok, I'll explain to my Dad that he'll have to wait until Tuesday. "That will be $60.00." "For two day delivery?" "No, overnight." "But you're not sending it overnight, you're sending it for 2nd day arrival." "Well, technically it's overnight, since the pickup already occurred, it won't go out until tomorrow, so it's overnight." "I'm giving this to you Saturday. You're going to deliver it on Tuesday. That's not overnight, that's 2nd day, so charge me the 2nd day rate." "Sorry..." And although I probably should have left to find another store that would charge me for the service they were providing, I just didn't have the time. To be fair, Philip was polite and professional through this entire exchange, even when I got exasperated with the ridiculousness of it all. read more

Was incredibly impressed with this store! I was helped by an employee named Chris, he was very knowledgeable and super personable. At one point during my visit there was a small rush and I sat on the side filling out some personal paperwork. While doing so witnessed Chris helping each customer with great professionalism. My fiancé placed a print order for her bridal shower invites which took her 40 minutes to set up online because it was very detailed and double sided. She asked me to pick them up and said they were already paid for. I got to the store to pick up the order but the staff didn't have the username and password to sign into the print software. I walked to the nearby grocery store to pick up some stuff while they figured out the problem. When I get back, I saw the manager was leaving with her purse and keys and heading to her car to leave. I then went inside and the new employee was left alone and said there was nothing they could do. They couldn't even get me a refund! I then called the customer support phone number and was on hold for 20 minutes before the call suddenly hung up. I called back again and after another 30 minutes on hold, I was finally able to get through to someone. After this, I will never be going back to the UPS Store. read more

I just went to this location to have two documents -3 black and white pages total printed. The lady pulled up my documents on the computer and printed them. I was then charged 3.23 for three black and white pages. I was shocked and upset. This is outrageous!!! I was charged for computer time when I never touched the computer. I usually print at the FedEx store on T.O Blvd. Never had to pay excessive charges like this. Will not ever go back!!! Very upset by this!!!! read more

This is an awesome store. They're focused on customer service. They're efficient, fast, thorough and always polite. This is the best UPS store I've experienced in Ventura County, which is why I selected them for my mailing address. I can count on them, which I can't say very often, unfortunately. Never had a problem and they handle a wide variety of people- the impatient and the slightly befuddled with courtesy and respect. I have been using this UPS Store for over 6 years, now. I have never, ever had a bad experience here. I visit 3-5 times a week. Karla :), Chris and any other staff I have worked with there have ALWAYS been friendly and helpful and done so at acceptable and faster rates of time. I have read some negative complaints here and I must say, some of you sound like complainers. Period. I've never seen "food all over the counters". They are limited to where they can snack or eat so, if they have food on the counters while you're in there, just remember, they're trying to serve people AND get a snack or something to eat at the same time. If you think going to Post Office is cheaper, you, obviously have not calculated cost of gas, wear on vehicle and time involved. I give 5 *****STARS because they deserve it and that's what I get when I go there! read more

Worst customer service! I came in with my daughter to get a document notarized. My daughter did not have her ID so we had to go back and get it. We said we'd be "right back". Since we live close to the store, we were back in under 10 minutes. When we returned, we were told the notary left for her lunch break. The employees called her and was told she'd return in 20 minutes. Multiple phone calls to her and 30 minutes later she was still a "no show". Good customer service would have been to give us the heads up that she was leaving the store before we left so we would have not wasted our time waiting for her not to show up!! We went to another UPS store, got our document notarized, and got on with our day. Needless to say, I will go out of my way not to take my business here.
