This postal annex location is great! I have a few mail boxes here for my business mailing addresses. I often come here to mail my packages as well. I am always met with a warm welcome and they are happy to help me with whatever I need. I previously had my PO boxes elsewhere and I always received terrible customer service. Make sure you ask for the gentleman behind the desk - he's professional and expedient. The other employee is a bit harsh and rude. I've asked for labels to be printed via email and she balks or says they're unable to be downloaded via pdf! Once she charged my card and said it was declined when it was not and I asked her to rerun it and viola -- it worked! She actually denied service to me today after I asked why she couldn't download a simple PDF and complained my label screenshot printout was too small. I let her know that was the only format that would work since she couldn't print the pdf and she didn't need to be so critical - prior to me they neglected to give customer a tracking label for a package up France costing $120! Anyway, she declined to affix my label and I said I'd never encountered a rude ass like her and she retorted, "that's right, your ass." Uhhhh what?! read more

They were not busy at 12 noon on a Tuesday which is good, but they do not do USPS. That's probably why they aren't busy. They do UPS, FedEx, and DHL, whatever the fuck that is. Because they don't do USPS I ended up having to go across to another city to get my boxes shipped. I don't get how a shipping place chooses to not support USPS. I was chugging 3 kids along with me and I did not feel like running around all over town. Not very quarantine friendly. Beware if you have a return from Nordstrom's or some other store you shouldn't be shopping at. If you need USPS, go somewhere else. The lady in there was nice though. I'll give them that. read more

I usually stop in here to drop off pre-labeled packages, as was the reason for my visit today. The staff has always been friendly to me and has allowed me to drop off USPS mail (stamped) as well. This location is small, but clean and organized. They offer a variety of kitchy little things as well as standard shipping, copying and packaging solutions. They had some delicious looking decorated cookies there today, from a baker in Malibu, but though the cookies were generous in size, I couldn't bring myself to pay $7 for one. read more

Sadly I have to update with a not so great review. My experience today was very disappointing. I was shipping something out and the person who was assisting me never confirmed the address with me, and it ended up getting shipped to the incorrect address. Also incorrect name- she never verified or confirmed any information with me which I found very strange. I called and she had no sense of urgency or any willingness to make it right. She said maybe it will get sent back or maybe hopefully they'll notice because of the name. Alright that does nothing lol. Kind of like it is what it is. We have used PostalAnnex for years. When we needed paperwork notarized with my elderly father, they were patient and kind. When I needed to ship very fragile family pieces, they were reassuring and professional. And today, clearing out my father's home, with barely 20 minutes before Postal Annex's closing, we showed up with a car full of family items that had to be shipped that day as we were flying back east the next day. Tons of stuff going in three different directions, breakables, paintings, vinyl records, boxes of tableware.... This husband and wife team swiftly packed up up everything - organizing and separating and taping and what was just a few minutes ago a packed car of so many different things were neat, packed boxes ready to go. They let us know which way was the cheapest and easiest and fastest and best. We left so relieved. read more

After being ripped off by the UPS store for years, I found this store. Not only is your address more simple, but they don't have the crazy "you need to pick up your packages within 5 days" rule that UPS store has. The whole point of having a mailbox is so packages can be delivered while you are traveling for business. Polite staff, convenient location, after hours access. No problems after one year. read more

I recently opened a mailbox at postal annex, and I'm paying $23 per month, i shopped around and the prices were very comparable to other mailbox stores. In regards to their holiday hours, I noticed that signs were posted early December. Sounds like other person, John C. has the wrong store. pros: - ample supplies - efficiency service - moderate price cons: - unfriendly, awkward customer service before leaving for a 6 week trip overseas, i visited PostalAnnex+ to pack up my drone safely so it wouldn't get damaged during travel. they had a box that fit the drone snugly, and they provided me with packing peanuts to cushion it. all this was fine and well, and i paid approximately $12 for the packing material, perhaps a bit on the high side. however, customer service fell short. the female owner was unfriendly and actually didn't respond to a couple questions i asked, flat out ignoring me and leaving a very awkward silence sitting in the room. it seemed that she very much did not want me to be there, despite the shop being otherwise empty. i would come back here if i were in a jam, but only then. read more

The owner is an angry rude person! I went in peacefully buying a ups bubble bag to send a package, but was hushed out feeling like being bitten by angry tiger! It happened when I politely asked to stick the address pouch differently, he became very rude. As the other lady tried to help finish the transaction, he was still uttering rude words. And he came forward using very abusive words and saying he does not want my business and wanted to hush me out!!! I was shocked!!! Walking out of the store, I wondered what had just happened!?! Postal Annex is great. I've had Tommy help me every time I've been in and service has always been efficient and pleasant. We've mailed tons of stuff at the holidays, had a few keys made and have never had a reason to complain. I saw some of the bad reviews and don't understand how this could be the same place. Mailbox rentals are above average for the area. Expect to pay $25 a month for a small box. On the plus side the employees are all very nice and make transactions easy, but you will pay for it. Also note, they closed the 12/25/13-12/30/13 without providing warning to their customers. This meant no package delivery for 4 days right after Christmas. Unacceptable, especially considering the UPS/FEDEX holiday disaster. read more

Always excellent service& customer support - never failing to provide me with several shipping/mailing options. I went to Postal Annex to get a picture for a visa application which I had to mail to a third party to take to the Los Angles consulate. After the picture was attached to the form and mailed I received a notification stating that the picture would not be accepted. This was due to the darkness and poor quality of the photo. I was forced to take another picture from a different facility and upload the photo to the consulate site. Due to having to upload a new photo and have the consulate print it out and attach it to a new form, I was charged a $25 fee and had to pay for a new picture. When I notified Postal Annex about the problem to ask for a refund, the female owner was extremely rude and stated I had to have the photos to return in order to receive a refund. Since I had mailed the pictures to the consulate I was unable to return them. I was forced to go back to the store in person to insist a refund, the owner continued to be extremely rude and eventually gave me the refund after an extensive argument. Would not recommend due to poor quality, poor customer service and will NOT go back again. read more
