Hey this is definitely the place to go! I do all my mail, packaging and UPS packages here. People talk to you not like at the post office where its doomsville! Even ship my luggage when I travel. I live nearby to this UPS and have tried sending things at this place a number of times, thinking the service will be better the next time. But no. The staff is often curt, if not rude, and I always spend way too long waiting in line. Other people in line have just walked out, exasperated by the rude inefficiency. I now drive much further, to the UPS shop in downtown W. Creek, near Ross Dress for Less. People are friendly there and even when it's crowded I am always out of there in a reasonable time. read more

Great experience. Came in here 1.24.16 around 2pm. Was greeted by a gentleman--I'm sorry I don't know his name, but he's 20-30's and VERY kind, pleasant and HELPFUl!! I don't return many packages. And this man was attentive and helpful. He literally used my phone to text/email my return info. You would think that as a grown woman I could do this myself...he never fussed, he never looked down on me. He made the return of my 3 packages so easy and didn't give me "complicated jargon". Further, when I found out I needed to pay for the actual packages (boxes/cartons/envelopes) he literally said, "Let's see how we can get you out of here the cheapest!" What!??!! No one really looks out like that. I'm the dummy who doesn't do this/return/UPS often. FANTASTIC service!! I would also give zero stars if I could. They have not notified me of my package ever for the last year. When I asked them to help resolve it, they took no accountability. Just said they sent an email. I told them I hadn't received one email notification from them ever. When I asked for a refund for my box..at least a prorated amount...they said no and ran away to the back room. How infuriating. I recover an EXTREMELY rude call from them this morning where the owner was talking down to me. I was on vacation when they attempted to deliver and when they called previously. I recently got back and have not been able to go to the store to pick up the package. As soon as I answered she was rude. There was absolutely no reason for this. An absolute horror story. Some (though not all) of their employees are rude and incompetent. I asked for a one-sheet sample of a brochure, printed both sides. Sent them the pdf file and VERY clear, specific instructions first thing in the morning and asked them to e-mail or call me when it was done, and said I expected the one sheet to be done by noon. I get a call at 3:46 while in a meeting. I go in today and nobody can find the one sheet job for 20 min., and then one side is UPSIDE DOWN! And then the woman who did it says "I did it but she didn't come in," like somehow it's my fault the job is delayed, and "It's only a sample!"; not even one "sorry." I become very unsure I should trust my job to them (of 100 sheets cut in 3rds). I ask for a cost breakdown for the job and get very questionable answers which don't jibe with previous estimates, and no cooperation (can't write it down, lots of snippy tone and haughty attitude). I ask her what is her problem and she says "I'm not an idiot." Hey, that was a fact not in evidence thus far! I told her she should be careful how she treats customers, I work for the school district and live in a very large senior community. She says "shame on you for threatening a small business!" Hey, shame on her for treating customers so shabbily. Long story short, I got the hell out and will go to another printer. BTW I was also insulted by another employee there previously, who made snide little remarks about senior citizens. This place doesn't deserve any customers until their employees get some training in customer service. And, oh yes, we consumers DO have the perfect right to share our experiences with each other to protect ourselves from places like this. Hence the existence of Yelp! read more

A business that truly understands why they are there. They're there to help and provide a service. Amy, the owner, and her staff can handle the most difficult shipping and packing problems. I had to ship a very valuable, 80 pound 4 foot by 6 foot painting to New York. Amy without batting an eye phoned 6 different shippers to get the best freight costs. It was far less costly than using Ship Smart a big cross country pack and ship company. I wished they had packed the painting as well. I would have saved even more money. The next challenge I gave Amy was packing and shipping an antique glass display case and the ancient artifacts dug up in the the Negev Desert. No problem for the UPS store on Tice Valley Blvd in Walnut Creek. They wrapped and bagged each item. Everything arrived safely. I will always take my packing to her. They are very reasonable and true experts. An added perk is that they have never made me wait. Finding this biz was the best thing about moving my mom. read more

THey don't understand that UPS has this store so that people can have a convenient location to ship UPS as well as other busness, copies etc. There used to be a very nice young woman who was replaced by two lazy and rude young men/ This seems to be why reviews are going down. I think that she left in the summer. The young woman got yelled at by the owner for helping a 95 year old lady by running down to the close by USPS and she told her "I don't pay you for that!" Now she seems to have hired two young men that either had the owner's horrible attitude or picked it up. I go to the Pleasant HIll store now and got a box there/ A friend told me that they were great when she switched. They have a captive audience. Lafayette I believe one also but unlike Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill they have meters. Maybe they will be replaced with a better store manager/owner who gets what customer servicei is and doesn't whine so much about owniing a business. Sell it then! Seems like all the competent women and men that worked there left so the elderly and frail are left to defend themselves. Please report rudeness t UPS in San Ramon. read more
