Trip 1. Brought in a return and the employee put the shipping label over a piece of tape. Label ended up ripping, resulting in the package being returned to my apartment 2 days later Trip 2. Brought back package with obviously ripped label due to wrong placement and they tell me there is nothing they can do for me. No way to reprint or reprocess label. Now have to get a new return code from the seller and hope I can find a UPS location that knows what they're doing for my third trip. Waste of my time. Shouldn't take 3 trips to process a return and employees should be more useful when issue is clearly caused by them. read more

For a Long time now i've had a PO BOX at this UPS Store for the purpose of incoming/outgoing packages at a secure location. Past and Present Staff have always exceeded customer service and when I walk in the door they know my BOX number and name and go and gather my packages for me. So funny yet cool. The new owners "Seema" have always been super kind/friendly and know me by name. The Owners & Team always take good care of me. This is outside of the control but rates of PO BOX'S are too expensive. First they have lost my Amazon return and then after I've scheduled notary appointment with them, I came for my appointment just to find out that there is no one to notarize my document. Also noticed that they don't enforce COVID safety measures, not good. read more

I needed to ship some rapid covid tests to my step daughter down in LA. She needed them right away, as she couldn't find any nearby and her roommate had just tested positive. So I went to this UPS Store with 6 rapid tests I'd just bought and asked them what the quickest method was for shipping. This was on a Friday afternoon. They said that the only way we could guarantee delivery by the next day, a Saturday was to pay the "guaranteed Saturday delivery" rate of $118.70. Since this was really important, I decided to just go ahead and pay to ensure they got it the next day, even though that is a lot of money for a small box. The next day came and went and it was not delivered. Eventually it got delivered on Monday, a full 3 days from when I shipped it. So I went in to this UPS Store to ask for a refund of the shipping fees since they had assured me it was "guaranteed Saturday delivery". They told me at the store that they would file a claim with UPS and would notify me. They didn't notify me, so finally I called them. They told me that UPS had declined the claim. I was beside myself. How can you have guaranteed delivery, but no actual guarantee? They told me I had to contact UPS if I wanted to dispute the claim. So, I spent over an hour on the phone, getting sent round and round, over and over again, with them telling me that they couldn't even talk to me about the claim, because it was submitted by the UPS Store, not by me. You can't make this stuff up. So I went back to the UPS Store and they told me there was nothing they could do. They couldn't even explain why the claim was denied in the first place. Just unbelievably horrible service. I know that they are just a franchise and are not responsible for decisions made by UPS, but they took my money and told me it was guaranteed Saturday delivery and basically just washed their hands when UPS told them the claim was denied. Just sad that business owners don't care at all about their customers. All they needed to do was advocate on my behalf with UPS and at least try, but just telling me I had to call UPS, and then having UPS tell me they wouldn't even talk to me, and the UPS store basically just saying "sorry, there's nothing we can do", is about as lame as you can get. I will never go back to that store again. Regarding the response from Harry R., 1) I notice that you didn't mention how you told me first I had to contact UPS to dispute, which wasted a huge amount of my time only to have UPS tell me that only you could talk to them about my claim and then 2) You reference their policy about weather, but my shipment was from the San Francisco area to Los Angeles. There was no inclement weather between here and there and neither you, nor UPS could ever explain to me how weather was the cause of the delayed shipment. Of course, UPS wouldn't even talk to me and you never bothered to find that out on my behalf, even though I asked. Just the fact that you chose to respond here defending yourself instead of apologizing demonstrates that you don't realize what you could have done differently. That's just sad. read more

I rarely go to the UPS store as my husband is pro in returns kind of tasks. But I had to send some notarized documents urgently. I reached the store at closing hour in a huge rush, but staff was very co-operative. They didn't mind keeping the store opened 10 extra minutes for me. I came in to ship a dress to my sister in NYC for an event. Unfortunately the shipment didn't make it in time and it cost $180!!! I was so upset and called them.
