I usually don't write reviews unless I come across something or in this case, someone who really exceeded my expectations. I came into UPS in Walnut today ready to ship my artwork. Matt, the store manager greeted me right away and was eager to help. He helped pack my paintings securely and gave me the piece of mind that they will make it to the destination safely. Matt's customer service, attention to detail and overall care for the customer should not go unnoticed. I had to mail a package and ai went into this UPS store just to do a transaction. From the moment ai walked in, I was immediately greeted and felt like they really cared. Also, suggested a packaging to send off that would ultimately save me money. All staff was so nice, I wanted to offer one, if not all a job where I work! Horrible place. Avoid it at all costs. I had to return an AT&T DVR and unfortunately they force you to go a UPS store. I was literally there for 45 minutes while the elderly couple tried to work the computer. At the end, the lady asked me to come back the next day because they couldn't figure out how to process the return. read more

I just walked out of there to get my fingerprinting done for my new job and walked in with the wrong form (it's what was given to me by my employer) and the guy who helped me was SUPER helpful. Well...this "girlie" as the gentleman on the phone refered to me was absolutely discussed with how I was treated over the phone. I went in on Friday at noon. Way before the deadline for next day service. I asked the staff if I could ship 1 box overnight and that I had an account. I was handed a red form in which the staff themselves instructed me what boxes to check. I even asked if my package would be delivered on Saturday morning which I was told yes. I used an account number. Well...what do you know. My package was send ground. Late to my client in Las Vegas. When I called the 800 number they instructed me to notify the shipping store that something was wrong with their machine and that the boxes for next day delivery were blank. Ok....I have the carbon copy so noticed I CHECKED THEM. I called the store to ask about this mistake. I was told that they don't hand out the red forms and that out of "CORTESY" to me they game me it. What?? Out of cortesy? Then he tells me that next day is Monday and not Saturday because they don't deliver on Saturdays. I told him I wasn't informed of such policy ( mind you I ship 3 to 4 times a week via UPS) and that "girlie" I'm going to wrap up this conversation very quickly" . What kind of service do you do there? I've been shipping for 5 years and although no one is perfect I have NEVER been downgraded to "girlie" it was disrespectful of a manager to call a paying customer that. I didn't ask for my money back all I asked was to why was I given that form and why was it out of "COURTESY "??? I have called and spoken to several UPS stores and corporate and they said that sometimes they want to charge you at the counter and if you use an account they don't like it because these franchises make no money that way. Even so...if I had been told I had to pay chash I would have since I needed the box over night or I would have taken it to FedEx or USPS. It was that urgent. I am beyond disappointed on the lack of etiquette. I will NEVER go back to this place and I advise all the "girlies" out there to beware of how you may be treated. They deserve no stars read more

I came into the store a couple days ago to do a few Amazon returns but when I arrived their system was down and they were trying to reboot it. I asked if I should come back at a later time but the manager, Sarthi Patel, told me that if I left the packages he would go ahead and ship them out when the system was up and running again, that way I wouldn't have to make a second trip down there. I trusted him and sure enough, within the hour I received a confirmation email stating that my packages were all sent out. Thank you Sarthi Patel! read more

If I could give less stars, I would. No consideration for the pandemic. Workers wear a mask to cover their mouths and when I told them their nose was exposed they said it was on purpose. I rarely use these types of stores. I am beyond grateful. The experience I had was by far the absolute best service I have gotten ANYWHERE. SARAH helped me. She has such a way with customers. I came to visit family. I live out of state. I needed to ship a package that was too big to take on the plane back home. And too fragile to load it with the cargo. I was short on time. Sarah tried so hard to accommodate every need. From helping find the right size of box to finding the lowest price. The only box that would fit was coming out to 100 dollars. Crazy right. She suggested I go to a uhaul store and find a lower price cylinder to fit the package. As I was leaving she ran out and found a smaller and more affordable box. She packaged the item so incredibly well . The shipping label for some reason. ALWAYS comes out wrong. This happens often with my address for some strange reason. But I didnt notice until I left. I called up the store. She not only corrected the error. She text me a picture showing the update. Amazing!! Thank you Sara. I hope you get a raise read more

I live in Diamond Bar but I am unable to receive packages because of package theft is prevalent in my neighborhood. I choose to have a mailbox at this UPS store because of the convenience but little did I know that the people would be so warm and kind. Mark and his nephew Matthew remember who I am, help me with all my packages, and treat me with such hospitality. They are very gracious and the store makes it easy for me to pick up my packages. I have been coming to this store for several years. Whether it has been to send a return item or to just ship mail, I have always found them so helpful and willing to assist me regardless of what I needed. Last month, I needed to ship an envelope to Sacramento to arrive next day. I had no idea as to the cost and I did not know exactly what to do. However, Sarah Hernandez, who was assisting me, suggested a couple of alternatives that could work that I was unfamiliar with. I was so happy that we found a solution and that my envelope could still arrive on-time and the cost was considerable less expensive that next day delivery. I appreciated Sarah's help. She made sure that everything was right including the return envelope and shipping labels that I needed to get back. The entire transaction worked just perfectly and everything was received on time at both ends. There is such a good feeling to know that there are still businesses that care about customer satisfaction and that you leave their business with a heart filled of gratitude. I've waited a couple of days to write this because I want to be fair but still this review although not a good one is honest. I needed a key for a caregiver at mom's house and I called this store and spoke with Cat or Kat, not sure of the spelling and was told yes they make keys. They had a really small selection and of the colored ones only sports keys. So I chose a key and gave her mine and she makes the key and pull out my card to pay at which I'm told "Cash Only" I say you know that would have been a good idea to tell me that first at which the girl says "I'm Bad" thank goodness I have cash on me. So 4.69 for a key and I have a five so 31 cents change. I get back to mom's and the key doesn't work. By this time I've had and I have a appointment in town, I don't have time for this. I call and am told that I'm to come back and they will make another key. I ask for my money back and comment that if you cannot do something competently than you shouldn't do it at all! I go back to the store and hand back the 31 cents and ask for my five back and she makes me wait because she's trying to figure out if the change is right because she can't count. I'm not sure she can read the receipt and I wonder how someone her age gets out of school and can't count Money. I don't know wether to be disgusted or feel sorry for this poor idiot of a girl. It was a busy and a bad day and I needed a professional to do their job and didn't get it and it left a job undone and wasted time I didn't have to waste. I would choose another location as this one is faulty. read more

This store is under new management. We were happy with the old crew but Mark, the new Manager, goes above and beyond to help his customers. He is personable and very eager to help make every experience a positive one. My husband goes in every day to pick up his mail. I go every few weeks. We are always greeted with a smile and a hello. The rest of the guys who work there are also friendly and professional. I recommend this store for any postal needs you have. Mark will do his best to help you.
