Once she received it, she said to print the label it would be $1.93. I said no problem. She asked, are you paying cash? I said no, debit card. She says well there is a $5 minimum purchase to use that card. I said thanks and walked out. First, it's illegal for a merchant to impose a minimum purchase on debit card transactions (FS 501.0117). So they are violating state law. Second, just the idea of losing a customer over a debit card transaction shows very poor business acumen and gives reason as to why these mom and pop locations are going out of business to the likes of the majors. They offer zero value to use their establishment. I gave 2 stars as the girl was polite, but avoid if you can.

I am the CMO for a global company. I stopped in here to send a package overnight (today is Friday 3/17) for arrival on Monday (3/30) morning delivery. Precursor - Prior to that I had asked (and graciously paid for) notary services of the documents. No problem. Services rendered, services paid for. Now we get to the shipping rates. The woman pulls up rates starting at $54 dollars for April 4th delivery and spanning $272 dollars for Monday delivery by 10am. Yes, you read that right. $272 dollars for an envelope. For Monday delivery, by 10am. That's the cost of shipping a small refrigerator freight on a truck. Obviously I was shocked. Asked her how that was possible. Her response was "yeah...you have to talk to the owner Harry, he controls the prices." Well Harry...here's your chance to retort. How is it possible in any world to send an envelope weighing a quarter of a pound...overnight to Alabama...an hour and 27 minute flight away from Ocoee....and have it cost $272 dollars? By the way, the girl behind the counter tried to validate this at first with a response that was "well that's the price of shipping these days". For what? A bison to Guam via boat? C'mon. For reference, Afterwards I called Patricia over at FedEx on West Colonial, who I also do business with. I gave her the contents, the weight, the address and the shipping expectations of delivery on Monday by 10am. Her rate via FedEx? $53 dollars. FedEx...a global shipper...$53.00 for Monday morning delivery by 10am. Harry's Mail Center...$272 dollars for Monday by 3pm. In the end I took it to the post office on Hiawassee. Express Mail with tracking. Arrival Monday by 3pm. Cost? $11.28 I work in an industry where media, print and costs are marked up...usually about 11% to make profit on running a business. If you do that math...thats a 413% markup. And some bullshit. You're flagged Harry. Not sure what kind of operation you think you're running, but it will be reported.

I went in as soon as I got the note (it was custom jewelry made from my mothers jewelry, as such it was irreplaceable, so I did not want it sitting in a random warehouse) There was one person in front of me being seen to and 2 people working (but only one working with that person). I still waited in line for 15+ min. When they did get to me they initially couldn't find my package. Nerve wracking. Very stressful. When I said something to the tune of "what do you mean you can't find it" clearly a little panicked, then she got the other person involved and she found it immediately...was there really a need to put me though that? So, while I did not use them of my own will, I don't think they would be my first choice as a shipper should i need one in the future.

The gal at the counter was very patient, helpful, and friendly. She patiently answered all our questions and provided us with what we needed to get our pieces of mail sent out.

Huge line that really didn't have a clear start or finish so everyone was kind of annoyed from the get go. Waited around for about 15 min before one guy finally started asking who in the line had amazon returns (he had been standing around for a bit not asking a growing line). After a few people did theirs and left I did mine and asked about my orinting project. He handed me a laminated email address and told me to email my project and and what I needed done. The wifi wasn't working (on either my computer or my phone so it was their wifi not my device) so I said if I left and emailed it in form home could I pick it up the next morning and he said it would be fine and to make sure I put all the details of what I needed in the email. I got home maybe 20 min later and did that. Clearly. In bullets. There was no way it was unclear. Went back the next day at around 2 pm (well after the opening time I requested in my email) waited in line only for them to ahve not even have opened my email. So they printed one out after not really ding more than a glance on regular paper and on two sheets and not the sizing I needed or the paper I specifically requested. So I basically was like yeah that's my project but it is not what I asked for. It's all in the email. so he finally actually looked at the email and was like we can't get this done today...52 4x6 cards. That's not a big order. Thats a very basic order. I have. a small card business and do this often. My office has not been set up at our new home yet so I could not take carte of it myself and it was too small an order for any real printshop int he area - believe me I tried. All this to say it is not remotely a big or complex order. they acted like i was asking for the moon and a rush job. thye tell me I have to come back again, the next day (so a full day after initial deadline requested (which as a reminder was approved by the first employee I encountered before leaving) I go back the next day. This is where it goes more downhill. I go in to pick them up. Dealt with the same guy. He hands them to me. I look them over and initially notice at a glance they did not print on cardstock though it it was in both the email and i verbally requested it the day before. he said that that was cardstock - again I have a paper business. It was not cardstock. So clearly they don't know what that it. Then they charged me an astronomical price of $72 (*for cardstock and color printing) which is well more than a job of this size should be priced. for reference at my normal printshop I have printed orders more complex and same day, and of a larger quantity for half that (in. a larger city no-less). I requested a discount for both time and because these were not printed on cardstck and they only gave me a 10% discount (said it was because the manager wasn't there?)...so the $72 was after the discount WHAT?! Are they insane? Pissed but needing the project done by that day latest I took them and left. When I got home I found them to be completely botched. Some were not printed strait. some were cut way too far down, and were then not centered. Some were cut at an angle. And it turned out they actually shorted me by three. And they didn't print them on the paper I ordered and paid for. It looked like a toddler but them. In fact I believe a toddler would have done a better job. I called to make a complaint to the manger who was not there only to be told by the assistant manger that they manager was the one who was responsible for the absolute joke of a print job. When I protested that this was not a "rush" order (that's what they called it) they then told me that they typically needs a week or longer so they can send it out...then mark up the price to a a laughable sum to have not even done the work? I went back (fourth visit in 72 hr) & demanded a full refund. which I thankfully did get. This it not a professionally level service & they should not be advertising it if they can't handle the most basic of orders. As a final insult, I dealt with 4 different employees, 1 gave me false information. 1 rolled they're eyes at me after they couldn't be bothered to open their own email by 2 pm, 1 didn't have a clue what whats going on despite having it explained to them multiple times & one just blatantly made stuff up & when they got caught they proceeded to completely change the story. Not to mention the manager whom I never personally dealt with, but they actually did the laughable job and thought it was fine...not once did I receive an apology from a single person. I recently just moved, and I had a package that was sent here and the gentleman behind the counter gave me such a hard time and an attitude about the fact that my ID didn't match the package I offered to show him my mortgage paperwork and he was a jerk about it today I went in and picked up a package, and the gentleman was extremely nice to me and understood my situation. This place is very hit or miss when it comes to their customer service.

They have a drop box inside for prepaid USPS items, and they are always quick and careful with my packages when I am mailing something out. They have stickers on the floor to help with social distancing, and yes, sometimes you have to wait outside until there is space inside. Masks are required. They have supplies if you need them, but I rarely use their items. I've never had an issue with something not arriving on time. As long as my items keep getting to places in a timely fashion, I'm happy to keep shipping from this location.

It made me feel uneasy and was honestly very distracting and aggravating. When I expressed concern, the only response I got from the owner was, "He doesn't bite." While I understand some businesses are pet-friendly, I'm not sure a shipping and mailing center is the best environment for a barking dog -- especially right at the front where customers enter. It didn't feel very professional, and it definitely made the experience uncomfortable. Would recommend considering a more neutral, welcoming atmosphere for customers who may not expect or feel comfortable around animals in a business setting.
