We love coming to vesper. They have one of the best cocktail selection in the area; there is something for everyone. I always go for their gin based drinks and love the selection. The ambience is also on point.

Another quality spot in downtown Campbell, The Vesper features craft cocktails and shareable plates wrapped in casual, modern aesthetic. I enjoyed the Indoor Voices although it was a little sweeter than the description led me to believe, but the drink was well made so I had no issues. A highlight for food was the Burrata and Pesto Sandwich, flavor was top notch and a great vegetarian option that soaks up alcohol well. Also the Ahi Tuna Tostada was packed on with tuna so I was very impressed with that in addition to its taste. The Vesper checks all the boxes for a nice evening out or a happy hour stop after work, however nothing quite blew away my expectations for the price point. I would love to come back to experience their other cocktails, definitely worth checking out!

We stopped in for happy hour, but ordered from and outside the happy hour menu. Happy hour prices were decent, outside the happy hour not so much. We found the cocktail to be well made and enjoyed our bites. Service was casual and friendly, which made it a nice experience.

A friend and I decided to meet late afternoon on a Sunday and she picked this place. We met at 4:30pm and even at that early hour on a Sunday, parking was rough. Downtown Campbell generally has fewer parking spots than there are restaurants and shopping. The place was also quiet, just a few people but the bartender and server were responsive and courteous. They also had Happy Hour till 6pm and the prices were not that much lower than the regular menu but it's better than nothing. They have a great selection of mixed drinks and not many choices for white and red wine or champagne. I generally like champagne but not Brut and that is all they had so we decided to go with the house white and it was excellent! I was trying to find a bottle of that to buy but no one carries it! Putting that aside, we also ordered the pita bread with the bean dip. The pita was soft and fresh and paired well with the dip. We didn't order anything else to eat but they have a good selection of appetizers and entrees. I took one star off because the table that we were sitting at was sticky and gross.

I've been to this whiskey bar before the pandemic, and apparently they don't have flights of whiskey anymore? So I think they changed a bit, but I still love the environment! It has a dark, rustic, romantic vibe with a woody feel to it as if you're in a cabin or something The server we had was very helpful and turns out he was actually the bartender so he was able to make us a unique style of cocktail because my friend wanted to do something with tequila, but nothing sweet. She ended up getting a hiccup cure, with some added ghost pepper bitters For some spice! I got the ginger snap, with less passionfruit syrup since that's the sweet part. I like sour things but not overly sour or too sweet. Lol. The way he made both of our drinks were simply delicious and we asked him to make us a second round after the food came!! For food, my girl got the tostadas and she said they were perfectly spicy with so much Sriracha aïoli sauce. She could taste it in every bite so she was very impressed!! I got the ceviche and it was so sour and quenching my thirst since it was a hot summer day, that I asked for some red chili flakes at the bar. Luckily, they had a whole little jar and once I spiced up my ceviche, it had the perfect spice and sour contents that made my meal complete!! I will definitely go back again for a cocktails And probably other desserts because they had a tiramisu that looked delicious, but I was too full after the ceviche to eat anything else! Lol L-R: The Hiccup Cure (added ghost pepper bitters) and Ginger Snap (less passionfruit syrups it's too sweet!)

Great ambiance. Friendly servers and of course the best drinks in town. Variety, flavors and alcohol strength -- all good!!!

Lovely place in downtown Campbell for a cocktail and/or a bite. There's a plentiful cocktail/drinks menu, as well several options for food. They also have a small HH menu until 6pm. Interior is very modern yet classic, somewhat dimly light but not quite as dim as some other bars. Seems to be a lot of seating, with a upper level as well. Staff was friendly and attentive, though it wasn't busy when were there for HH. Our items came out quickly. The deviled eggs were good, and the chips & dip was pretty regular (the dip was very cold like it had just come out of the fridge). In my previous visit, it was pretty fast service as well (not during HH so it was busier) and the flatbread was pretty good (though this doesn't seem to be on the menu anymore). The food overall is alright, but the drinks were better. All in all, I would come back for nice cocktail!

The bar is a cute spot to sit and chat with some friends. The bartenders were attentive and consistently checked in if we needed anything else. The drinks came out pretty and were alright. I realized I'm not so much of a mescal fan but it was pretty. We also ordered ceviche that was ok in taste, but was on the saltier side.

Okay so I came here for lunch it's a cute space with a really nice bar area dim lights. I believe they have a second floor that was closed off maybe they open it when it's gets busier? The day I went wasn't too busy. There was only one waiter at the time he was attending the people inside and maybe like two outside. I think one more waiter would have been great . I really enjoyed the meatballs appetizer. I did get the raviolis I think they were a little bland and it needed more filling inside the ravioli. The drinks were ok for $18 which is the norm I don't expect to pay less or more that is about the ballpark now a days $14-$18 dollars. Like I was saying I don't mind paying that price but I do expect a good craft cocktail and a good portion would be nice not required if the drink is that good . I had a good time the ambience not sure if I would be back .

    Some great whisky/bourbon selections

My go to spot for friendly service, good cocktails, and a good selection of whisky. Parking is usually easy to find and the prices here are pretty fair. Good crowd with a relaxed but busy energy. Highly recommend this spot.

Update: FYI Jim let me know he sold The Vesper in summer 2024. No wonder it's not as good! It's not affiliated w The Table, Lamella Tavern, or Shepherd & Sims anymore.

Came here on a Friday night with some girlfriends just to grab a drink, and it was poppin'! We didn't have a reservation but they sat us right away, which was a nice surprise. The vibe was lit and the energy was great. My friend ordered the Figure 8, and after trying a sip, I can say it was really good. Another friend got the Josie, and her drink was just as great. Our waitress was super attentive and really helpful in recommending drinks, which made the experience even better. I haven't tried the food yet, so I can't speak on that but it smelled amazing! Definitely planning to come back.

The root beer was fine, but my fiance and I weren't sure if it was anything special. The wings were good. They were coated in a healthy amount of sauce and had a decent crisp. My pizza was a good size and super cheesy. I liked the combination of toppings. The crust was flaky, but a little bland. I still enjoyed it overall. My fiancés burger and onion rings were good. We were seated outside and I did not get a chance to go to the inside. The outdoor is decorated with fake green plants and heat lamps are installed. It's comfortable. Some of the white chairs looked quite dirty, though. It was a birthday party with a white dress code, so I was a bit concerned. The cocktail menu is beautiful. We tried Butterfly Effect, Espresso Martini, Caffe Al Pistachio, and Thai Strawberry Thing. I found the Butterfly Effect refreshing, but I like my Espresso Martini the most because it's creamy and tasty. The alcohol bitterness was covered up well. If you like sweeter drinks, the Caffe Al Pistachio and Thai Strawberry Thing tasted like candy. The Caffe Al Pistachio did not look like the picture on the menu; there's no layer of pistachio foam on top. We ordered so much food! -Mexican Street Corn: nicely presented and tasted fine. It's a bit hard to cut into smaller pieces however. -Shrimp Ceviche: ok, good portion for a large party to share. The chopped shrimp was a bit too small for me. -Buffalo Cauliflower: Slightly like the Indian cauliflower dish but I love how chunky the cauliflower is and how soft the texture is. -Fried Chicken Sando: good sando, but hard to be bad with fried food. So it's a safe choice if you don't know what to order. -Loco Moco: We were asked how well we wanted the steak to be and our choice of egg; which seems strange to me to imagine having scrambled eggs on top. I like the dish in general; we doesn't like burger patty, eggs and gravy sauce. -Uncle Dave's Chili & Cornbread: Good chili, beany and tasty. The corn bread is also good in texture, dense but not crumbly. Any time there's an actual person's name on the dish picks up my curiosity and interest. -Jambalaya: The right amount of spiciness! The rice is soft, chewy and soaked up all the flavors. Good size and amount of shrimp. -Garlic Noodles with Salmon: The most popular dish on our table. Lots of chopped garlic making the noodles flavorful. Another safe choice if you don't know what to get. -Molten Chocolate Lava Cake: delicious, and the cake is baked just right. Soft in the inside, chocolaty and rich on the cake. -Ube Cheesecake: The most loved dessert with distinct ube flavor. -Churro Waffle: the waffles tasted chewy and it's a good portion with lots of fruit, ice cream, and chocolate sauce. It's a bit too sweet for me. The table provided forks and napkins but no knives. Some dishes came with a service spoon or knife, but we wish there were knives in the utensil holder so we can do more self help. One thing I am pleasantly surprised is the reasonable prices. Most entrees are under $20!

I thought some dishes were great; the wagyu burger was decadent. Other dishes were not that special. The scallops didn't taste too fresh (likely frozen) and combining them with hummus didn't quite work. The side of bread was practically insulting. $5 for stale table bread was a surprise. Dishes arrived very late; we were nearly forgotten when we tried to order, and then after ordering, we waited 40 minutes between appetizers and the main course. Not because they were cooking it; they just forgot we were there and when they brought out the dishes, the scallops were no longer just-cooked, and the burger had been sitting for a bit. No apology, just an acknowledgment it was late, and no discount (not even on the stale bread). They offered us wine, we said we didn't drink, and they just moved on. I debated a lot about how to review this. It's my personal experience that was disappointing, and I'm glad some reviews are very upbeat.
