The Village Eatery is nice bistro nestled in the heart of Glendora, California. It is a neighborhood favorite, and offers a casual, friendly dining atmosphere that you will enjoy. It's indoor and outdoor seats were spacious and cozy. Their menu has a robust selection of food and drinks. We came to grab brunch after our hike at a nearby trail. I had coffee, water and orange juice; pancake and greek omelette x wheat roasts x potatoes. Drinks were deliciously refreshing; food was modest in taste and flavor. Service was slow to decent but can definitely be improved. Plenty of street parking. Prices were economically fair. Overall, their breakfast was banal but drinks were great.

Definitely get the avocado toast!! It comes with fruit. A side of their potatoes is a must!

The Sunday Brunch is one of the best in Glendora!! Don't sleep on their new avocado toast and hopefully soon the breakfast tacos! Also love their IG account!!!

Food was amazing I really enjoyed the passion fruit tropical tea. Service is great and friendly. Very cozy place and inviting atmosphere first time regulars, will definitely be returning. Can't wait to explore the menu. Monte Cristo is delicious. California Club was amazing and let's just say their portions are very generous.

Firstly, service was a little busy, but excellent in terms of anticipating needs and checking in with our party. The breakfast burrito was huge, but mostly due to the potatoes and not as much meat or eggs. The salsa was a very nice accompaniment. The other breakfast items looked good, so will definitely be trying something else the next time we come!

2 Eggs with Bacon Plate! I got the sourdough bread also! So amazing! These potatoes are TOO DIE FOR

After months of planning, I was naturally nervous, but Bill made the whole process so much easier. He was incredibly accommodating, patient with all of my questions, and always willing to work with me to make sure every detail came together. Most importantly, he was true to his word. Everything we discussed beforehand was delivered exactly as promised, which gave me so much peace of mind. The staff was just as amazing. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that everyone was having a great time. They kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes so I could relax and enjoy such a special evening with my family and friends. The venue itself was beautiful, clean, and created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the space, the service, and how well everything was organized. Seeing the look on my husband's face when he walked into his surprise party is a memory I'll treasure forever, and this venue played a huge part in making that moment possible. Thank you, Bill, and your incredible team, for helping create a night our family will never forget. I would recommend this venue without hesitation and would gladly host another event here in the future.

The service was extremely slow to start--we waited a while just for water and to get drink orders taken. We ordered the Ahi tuna appetizer, which was good, but the course pacing completely fell apart after that. Our salads took 25 minutes to arrive. Before I could even get the fresh ground pepper I requested, our main courses were rushed to the table while we hadn't even started our salads. The food quality was unacceptable for an upscale restaurant: Both my wife and I ordered our steaks medium-rare. Mine arrived completely leathery, dry as a bone, and thoroughly overcooked. I didn't eat a single bite of it. My wife's steak arrived medium-well, and her side of rice was completely dry. The bottle of red wine we ordered from their very small wine list was served warm. When we declined having the steak re-fired or free dessert, we finished our wine and asked for the check. The $62 inedible steak was still on the bill, so I asked to speak with the owner. When I calmly explained the issues, the owner became angry that I didn't want the steak redone and walked away mid-conversation. He eventually came back, removed the $62 steak, and told us he didn't want us back in his restaurant. To top it off, for an establishment charging fine-dining prices where guests dress up, the owner was wearing shorts and sneakers. One chance is all a restaurant gets to make a good impression. Lincoln House missed the mark completely. We will not be returning.

If on a tight budget, the Good Company (Covina) is a prime location for casual drinking or hangout. It's food is not bad, but you can taste its affordability. I arrived on Saturday (around 5:40PM). Customers walk to the counter and order. Staff (Omar) is friendly and hardworking. He's seen constantly moving and interacting with guests. My orders arrived quickly. The Cheeseburger Bun was ready in 5 minutes and 36 seconds. The Matcha Berry Affogato arrived at my table in 9 minutes and 20 seconds. The food's presentation is memorable. The Cheeseburger Bun ($6) includes wagyu ground beef, melted American cheese, thinly sliced pickle, and fried thin onion slivers. Eating it with the white bun reminded me of sloppy joe in a soft taco. This very wet, mushy meal is cheesy and oily. Still, it's filling and cheesy with a very affordable price-point. The Matcha Berry Affogato ($6) is a scoop of ice cream swimming in a lake of liquid matcha. The flavors are decent but not memorable. The ice cream was chill and not overly sweet. Unfortunately, the liquid matcha arrived almost lukewarm. It would have been much more refreshing if the entire dish came cold. The presentation is eye-catching, but it lacked any real taste. Still, it's a very affordable experience. Concerning ambiance, The Good Company (Covina) performs extremely well. The location is very clean and comfortable with upbeat & fun music. There's also one flatscreen tv in the corner with closed captioning english subtitles. The location is well-ventilated, and the furniture all look very new and well-maintained. Even though the location is small, the colors and decor make it feel spacious and comfortable. Overall, The Good Company (Covina) is a good, budget hangout location. The food has an attractive appearance but its taste is unfortunately comparable to premium fast food. If heading there, bring good company and you'll definitely have a good time. 4 out of 5

Amazing…read morebeers, delicious food, a cool hybrid restaurant setup, attentive staff with cool uniforms. The place was the sh*t. I've come here several times over the past couple years and it's more and more dead at the restaurant every time. The waitresses are absolutely dreadful. Every request is forgotten or takes 20 mins to arrive at the table. When we arrived we waited 20 mins for a waitress. We asked for some sauce, they forgot. We ordered a pizza, which was delivered to the wrong table. When we wanted to leave, the check took 20 mins as well. Now I have a crying baby and I'm waiting for them to try and split the check two ways and I eventually give up knowing that the task is too much for them to handle and just pay it all on one card. We had to track down the waitresses multiple times. It's like they have NO ability to anticipate the needs of their customers. "They ordered, pizza, maybe I should bring some plates". Nope! "They'll probably want their sauce before the food item is ICE COLD". Nope! Anytime we went into the restaurant the girls were on their phones. There were five tables in the restaurant tonight so there really was no excuse. I think this will be the last time I ever go to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the reputation of the old Congregation Ale House kept me coming back even when time after time, the service was abysmal, however, now that Congregation's former glory is thoroughly tarnished I can honestly say that I will not be coming back and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Quality like this cannot be tolerated. Travis, the former owner, would be ashamed of this fall from grace. R.I.P. Congregation Ale House

Wouldn't consider myself the biggest fan of BBQ and this certainly more of a craving that's once in a blue moon. For parking, it's located in a plaza with ample parking. Went close to noon on a weekend and needed a brief wait before ordering. There is ample seating inside and some had great natural lighting as well. Water, utensils, and to-go boxes are self-serve. American Express is accepted here. I was a bit peckish when visiting, so got a tray full of items such as Prime Brisket, spicy Mac & cheese, potato salad, coleslaw, cornbread, and the pickles (free). The spicy Mac & cheese had a good kick but was not too spicy. Coleslaw and potato salad were pretty solid options. The brisket and the cornbread were my personal favorites. Brisket was a savory profile that I expected and the cornbread had a good sweetness that added to the meal. However, you cannot go wrong with ordering any of these items. The brisket was ordered as 1 lb, while all the sides were single serving side. The portion size was well beyond two people and had a bit of leftovers. It could have been better to get 1/4 lb less brisket or one less side item. This was certainly a nice random discovery and I'd definitely come back again. Thumbs up from a casual BBQ fan!
