This place isn't really on yelp but maybe more reviews can help with that. Hubby found this place while we were just passing thru town. Definitely a "hole in the wall" kind of establishment. When we went it was a seat yourself style. There's a ton of tables and they were pretty busy. I ordered the French toast with sausage and hubby ordered biscuits and gravy with sausage and home fries. Both our meals were pretty good. Service was kind of slow but I think it was only because they were understaffed big time. I would probably give it another go for breakfast. Priced average for a breakfast "mom and pop" place.

The server was nice although my cup was empty about 30% of the visit. At the end he did put my refill in a to go cup on my way out. My grilled cheese was American cheese which would have been great if it had been melted. The bread was lightly toasted and golden. The fried okra was more than likely from the freezer but the fried squash was freshly fried and well seasoned. It was definitely the highlight of the meal.

Great to be able to get real local food like we grew up on instead of the standard menu available everywhere.

Mediocre food, surly waitress, dirty dining room but cheap prices. You might want to skip this one.

Very unsuspecting but great food. Kind people and prices are not terrible. Great for country cooking.

Good southern food and service. Certain food items can be a little greasy at times. Salads are amazing and fresh.

On a cold, rainy afternoon working in the area, I stopped by the Wagon Wheel for some good country cooking.

That's fine in normal cold weather, but at 22 degrees the overhead heaters just don't quite cut it. I think this part of the experience could use a little revision. My wife had pancakes with vanilla syrup and sausage. I ordered the classic breakfast with eggs, grits, sausage, and toast. Everything was very flavorful. My only complaint was that my food was lukewarm. It seemed like my food may have been finished and sat for a few minutes while my wife's pancakes were completed. On a cold morning, I would have preferred a hotter meal, the grits weren't warm enough to melt the butter, and the toast was cold, so I didn't even attempt to butter it. That said, even with the temperature issue, the food was still very tasty, and given how cold it was outside, I'm willing to let it slide. Everything arrived quickly, and the restaurant itself is very quaint, set in an old home that is very clean. On our first visit, they offered chocolate chip cookies to go, and they were excellent! They didn't have any this time, but we'll be back again to try our luck. To those about to nosh, I salute you!!

We DO NOT like to be rushed and unfortunately our waitress just kept interrupting our conversation and asking us to order. It was a Sunday afternoon and it was NOT super busy. Nobody was waiting for a table. This is why we have stopped coming here as much as we used to. So I had the cheese ravioli for my main- was really rushed into that decision and my boyfriend had the Reuben with fries... he was told that she would have to check with the kitchen AFTER she said that a special was shrimp and grits!!!! We were like huh???? Anyway one of our favorite spots unfortunately needs to reevaluate their staff. But we will be back and try to avoid this waitress's section at all costs!!!!

I liked their eclectic menu. I ordered the traditional Greek Platter with lamb. It was great! The others all raved about their food, especially the ones who ordered the Chicken Salad Croissant. This was a refreshing place on a very hot day, hi-lighted by an awesome friendly server.
