Confronted with out-front advertising and a menu card that, at first, suggested this might have changed to a Mexican restaurant, I wasn't excited about staying for breakfast. I changed my mind when I saw traditional breakfast fare listed (and served all day) and I'm glad I did. The meat-lovers omelette was terrific with a generous amount of ham, sausage and cheese. My companion was pleased by her chicken salad sandwich (the accompanying potato salad was pretty bland) and soup as well. A disappointment was the freshly made bread and the highly touted cinnamon roll. The wheat bread was dry and the cinnamon roll served cut in half with the frosting on the side, left it dry as well. Service was quick and friendly and price higher than expected but not out of line. I'd return but wish they still offered the fresh muffins I remember from years past.

Friendly staff and good selection to chose from. I got the blitz with blueberries, loaded home fries, and a specialty sausage. All so tasty!

Excellent food, fast service, nothing else in town open and they did awesome for not having to compete. Highly recommend them. Breakfast was great

Rustic atmosphere that one goes "up north" to experience. Greeted by homemade loaves of bread adds to the welcome. We had the Friday fish fry. They offer 3 types of reading and broiled. The light breading was perfect. Served with great frys, homemade bread and coleslaw, backed beans. $10.99 Our server was so patient with our one elderly family member who was very slow to decide anything Going there again for sure. Lake views are beautiful and outdoor seating enhances it We just had to comeback on our return trip. Once again we got so much great food for such a great price

Our server, Leah, was very pleasant and met our every need. I'm extremely picky about tartar sauce and she brought me out plenty to try and then when I loved it, more to enjoy with their excellent fries. I thought it was the best I've ever had in a restaurant. We all enjoyed our meal and my daughter loved her Fettuccine Alfredo especially. My walleye sandwich was incredible, too, especially since that tartar sauce was so phenomenal. One thing that really caught my eye was how hard the hostess was working. I don't think I've ever seen someone of her generation with such an amazing work ethic. It was kind of fun to watch her do her thing. If I had a company of my own locally, I would definitely be working to hire her. I didn't get her name, a d she looked awfully young to own the place. She acted as if she did, however. Amazing!

I had to knock it down a star because there were literally ZERO Covid precautions. We're from the city and used to wearing masks everywhere and we walked in with masks on and everyone looked at us like we were crazy. Not even the bartenders or servers were wearing masks even though there's a state mandate. Other than the safety aspect, it was genuinely a great time. Everyone was very friendly and there was live music and karaoke. It was definitely a small town dive bar feel and was an absolute blast. We were mostly there for drinks, but we did get the spinach and artichoke dip as a snack and it was delicious! There was also a really nice patio out back that had games.

If I would have seen this before eating I would have walked out. The men's restroom is across the hallway fron the kitchen. Cases of canned goods were at the end of the hall just a few feet away. The men's room was atrocious. A large open garbage can was there for used paper towels. It was only a quarter full yet half of the floor was covered with the used paper towels. Thw worst part of it is that in a corner of the room was a big puddle of urine. It smelled so bad in there. The mens room was obviously frequented by the half dozen drunk patrons at the bar. They didn't bother us or other patrons in yhe dining area but their banging beer bottles on the bar, extremely loud conversation and occasional chanting should have proved that their service should have been cut off. But the blonde bimbo bartender obviously saw nothine but more tips with more beers. I give this joints a Minus 5. Never again for the Outback on 51 in Woodruff WI.

The staff as attentive to our table and quick. The drink menu was big. The daiquiri and pina colada were from a smoothie machine and not super frozen so on a hot day it doesn't last long. Sat outside close to the dock, was a beautiful sunny day and not too hot. Wifey had a salad with grilled chicken. Looked very good and ended up as part of the clean plate club. Friends had pulled pork sliders which looked very good. Three small rolls with pork, cole slaw and a dressing. Fourth adult had fish tacos with side of fries. Fish portion was modest. One child had beef tacos, must not have been very good because only a half was eaten. Child number two had a corn dog and fries. Can't complain about the food, but the prices were a little high for what we received. Recommend as a great place to stop while on the lake but would not journey there for other meals.
