Honestly wasn't what I expected. For a Vino bar I was hoping for more of a selection of wine. This is more of a fast casual restaurant than a wine bar. Their online menu is also NOT the same as the one you get when you sit down! So don't bother looking at that before you go! Other than the atmosphere and the slow service the food was really good! We had wings which are huge and the burger was cooked to perfection with a fried egg on top which was AMAZING!

It's the third name change in four years, but if you were here before the name recently changed from Attilio's to The Winged Bear, you won't notice much of a difference in the interior space. Its exactly the same as of now. So is the menu -lots of pizzas, appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, grinders, Italian entrees, and salads. Our take-out order included a very nice Baby Spinach Salad for $10.95 (Baby Spinach with Grilled asparagus, red onion, bacon, toasted pine nuts, egg, raspberry vinaigrette). It was a big portion that tasted great and easily fed both of us. We went with a large pizza ($16.95) base and added on meatballs and green peppers for $2 a pop. We have so many great pizza shops in the area (E&D, Little City, Da Capo, First and Last) and the Winged Bear's pizza was certainly competitive with the heavyweight champs I mentioned. The pizza was gigantic with 8 very large slices. Plenty of sauce, plenty of cheese, plenty of toppings (the meatballs were very good). Maybe the crust was a teense thicker than what I've become used to, but let me be clear -the pizza was very good.

We tried the Big Mac, pepperoni, and ricotta bolognese pizzas from here for takeout and it was ok. They forgot the special sauce and lettuce on one of our pies and not too much pepperoni, but it's generally less expensive than other pizza joints in the area. Tenders were tasty but not very crispy to go too. Next time I think we'll try the grinders Or sandwiches instead.

Cute pizza box messages. Great mushroom and meat lovers pizza. Both are size small which is quite big for 2 people...no complaints there

Good customer service when delivering and consistently good pizza. This has been my go-to for delivery and they have not disappointed. We have also ordered their sandwiches and pasta. The quality and taste of those items were also consistently good as well.

My family had a Groupon so we thought we would try this place out. It was definitely a good choice. We ordered the meatball pizza and the cheese was so yummy and gooey. It tasted very fresh and the meatballs were scrumptious. We also had the Caesar salad and they were really nice big pieces of Parmesan grated on top of it and it was a portion that I fed myself my husband and my daughter. The waitress was very nice and she was attentive and we received our food promptly. We're definitely going to start using this place in town as one of our pizza rotation nights.

New name and some exciting new menu items. Don't get to get to the restaurant as often as I used to but they deliver so that is just fine by us. Happy to keep supporting local family owned businesses. I am really enjoying the new bbq and taco Tuesday items!

    "Shrimp" "Bacon" pizza

Ordered a large "shrimp" "bacon" pizza and it seems they were running out of the two principle ingredients. The base white pizza is still delicious -- my dad and I devoured most of it -- and while the economy may be tough, come on man!! While I'm here on Yelp, our last order had rotten avocados on it. Strike two and you're out, says my dad, and we'll be sticking with Little City.

Did you run out of toppings?

After several years, we decided everyone deserves a second chance. Apparently, so does disappointment. Today's visit started with a lengthy wait for drinks, which gave us plenty of time to admire the restaurant's impressive indoor climate control system set to "walk-in freezer." As we slowly lost feeling in our extremities, we waited for our food. And waited. And waited. The table next to us eventually gave up and asked for their food to go because it was taking so long. We thought, "Well, at least they'll get food." Plot twist: our food never came. On the bright side, if you're looking for a place to practice patience, intermittent fasting, and cold exposure therapy all at once, Plan B has you covered.

It was absolutely Chuck full of stuff, including chicken and eggs and bacon and all manner of stuff and was really terrific for the price. It came with a side of dressing of my choice. Highly recommend. The bacon cheeseburger was huge with a thick patty cooked, medium to medium rare and was delicious with toppings, ranging from pickles and onions. Perfectly done absolutely delicious. I chose a side of cut fries that were crispy on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside. For fries that were delivered to my house from the restaurant They survived the trip well. The seafood combo was half a dozen large fried shrimp, and one large piece of fried white fish. The batter was light and perfectly done and very tasty on all of the fish. It came with coleslaw as well as tartar sauce, and the tartar sauce was very good. Pretty area but I was honestly thinking it was going to be more quaint and romantic. It was not. The area is somewhat narrow which makes tables spaced close together and it's really not that private. But the space is nicely decorated and if you sit on the right side (which we did), you're right in front of the waterfall. I would try the dining room next time just to compare. Our server Anthony was professional, kind of and accommodating. We started with cocktails - I had a creative gin drink called Dot Dot Dot. My husband loved his Old Fashioned - he meant to ask what type of bourbon they used because he thought it was very good. With the tasting menu - many of the options apparently change regularly though based off other reviews it appears there may be similar options from time to time. We started with their Johnny Cakes which the waiter said the restaurant is known for. Another reviewer ranked them a 7.5/10 and I couldn't disagree more. They were one of the tastiest bites I've eaten in a while. Crispy, buttery and divine. I thought they were to die for. Served with creamy honey sesame butter which was also delicious. My husband doesn't eat fish so for his amuse bouche he had a little puff served with cheese, that was amazing. For his first course - he had the Ricotta Raviolis. They were as beautiful as they were delicious. My amuse bouche was a tuna tartare that was a perfectly balanced bite. I had the Tapioca custard as my first course. The bacon was a bit too smokey for my taste and overpowered the dish in my opinion. It could have used a bit more liquid but it was a unique few bites. For our mains, my husband's porcini risotto was rich, creamy, and full of earthy flavor. I had the bass with cauliflowerini, golden raisin-caper gremolata, Marcona almonds, and a cauliflower purée--thoughtfully composed and very flavorful. The final savory course was a crispy duck breast with port-poached pear, port reduction, and sweet potato purée, which was beautifully executed. Dessert was a pomegranate pavlova--crisp on the outside with that perfect soft, marshmallowy center. A delightful finish to the meal. Overall, the dishes were not only delicious but also thoughtfully composed and visually striking. It made for a memorable experience, and we're already looking forward to coming back--maybe in a different season to see how the menu evolves.
