They didn't give my dog her medicine she needs to take everyday and the bag I had all of her things in was chewed through in multiple places. She had bloody mucus all over her. She was dying of thirst and she can barley bark probably because she was barking the entire time. Do not take your dog here!!! This a horrible facility ​

He waits and cries at the door waiting for Thunder. It's been a great experience for us. When we travel, we also reach out to Thunder to board our dog. It's a great circle of trust, entertainment & support for our dog & us. We've been working with Thunder for several years now. He's a great guy and has a gift for working with dogs. Thunder took my dog and my moms dog after a few aggressive fights between them. I have a very special little dog who…read moreneeds a lot of training and attention to help overcome her behavioral challenges and they not only understood what to do immediately, we've been making steady progress since we first met everyone. The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. After speaking…read moreto animal behaviorist (2 to be exact) after being told my dog has a high prey drive (what 8 month old lab doesn't) to find out my 60 pound dog should never have been allowed to be with smaller dogs. Not just the prey drive but larger dogs play rougher then smaller dogs. They can be stepped on etc. After interviewing different dog daycares I have found out that for most if not all have cams to check in through out the day. Also if there is an issue with your pup there is video evidence. I had nothing except for their word and honestly I feel my pups wasn't wanted they just wanted my money. The training was top notch and worth the money. I do have the best puppy ever and can take her to many places. She now has manners. But I do not recommend for day care. Lesson learned.

He gets fed lunch, fresh water, and a walk/play time. I love the daily "report card" we receive as well, as it lets us know how our little guy did during the day and gives us peace of mind while we're away. Amy is quick to respond to any questions we have, and I feel that she is a good and responsible business owner. Having this level of confidence is extremely important when it comes to things like this, as I'm sure any dog owner will understand. The walkers themselves do a great job, and I like how the system is set up -- instead of having only one person come out five days a week, there are two walkers who split days. This means that in the event a backup is needed you don't have to worry about a stranger coming to take out your dog. Again, it's a good peace of mind component of this operation. So, all in all, we're extremely happy with Dogs Love Running and would recommend them to anyone in the Elmhurst area.
