I have two nervous dogs that historically have a lot of stress when it comes to boarding, one of…read morewhom has a severe heart murmur. They just got back from their 5-night stay at OBKC, and I couldn't be happier. Because it's a smaller facility, OBKC's staff has more time to devote to each individual dog, which made me feel much more confident in leaving them there, especially with my older pup's health issues. The consistent routine each day, individual playtimes with staff, and constant access to clean, climate-controlled space and fresh water clearly kept my girls happy during their stay! You also have an option to spoil your pup with little frozen treats, and proceeds go to local charities. I received updates (with beautiful photos!) whenever I asked, and they took extra precautions to keep my older dog safe and comfortable. The pricing is very reasonable compared to other facilities, especially considering the personalized care. They came back to me clean and happy. One was even more excited to play with the staff on her way out than she was to see me! Scout and Cherry say thank you so much for taking such good care of them.

We know she's in good hands and the staff are always friendly, courteous, and ready to let us know how Cinnamon did during her stay. OBKC is the best!

Sabrielle and her staff truly understand and care about dogs. I have a very special little dog who…read moreneeds a lot of training and attention to help overcome her behavioral challenges and they not only understood what to do immediately, we've been making steady progress since we first met everyone. The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. The classes are incredibly valuable too. The results speak for themselves.

She had plenty of tips and techniques and it was nice having her visit the home for the sessions to see how he is in that environment. After several mixed purpose sessions I feel like we're on the path to success, maybe. We hope .

I left two messages and I waited and waited. So I decided to contact the mobile pet groomers who are more expensive but reliable and they return phone calls!!! So if you are considering using their services here is my advice. Run like your the last two monkeys boarding Noah's Ark and it's starting to rain! No no no!!! That's a hard no from me! Enter at your own risk ! You've been warned!

While I will give this place a 5 for dog training they deserve a 2 for dog daycare. After speaking…read moreto animal behaviorist (2 to be exact) after being told my dog has a high prey drive (what 8 month old lab doesn't) to find out my 60 pound dog should never have been allowed to be with smaller dogs. Not just the prey drive but larger dogs play rougher then smaller dogs. They can be stepped on etc. After interviewing different dog daycares I have found out that for most if not all have cams to check in through out the day. Also if there is an issue with your pup there is video evidence. I had nothing except for their word and honestly I feel my pups wasn't wanted they just wanted my money. The training was top notch and worth the money. I do have the best puppy ever and can take her to many places. She now has manners. But I do not recommend for day care. Lesson learned.
