I have been here twice and the first time we had a great server and while it took a while for food to arrive it was great service and we had our 12m daughter with us and were very pleased with overall care from the staff. From seating us (the wait was less than 10min) to the dining area suggested (inside for the little) , to the appetizers and entrees, it was great! The second time service out front was fine, a bit less enthusiastic but whatever, no wait, seated promptly but our server sucked. She seemed a bit oblivious to be fair. She brought me a 32oz cup of milk for my 12mo kid. Like huh? Okay... not helpful. My drink was so so, a bit watered down. App came fast which was great but the food order was wrong and when I mentioned I asked for the aioli on the side she seemed not to care. Asked if I wanted it redone... no, I want a plate of food I really can't enjoy. Smh. I go to take a bite and it's literally dripping with juices and just gross. I took one bite and I was done. I finished my drink and we left. Yes I tipped but really the service was horrible that night. So hit and miss for sure. Which is sad cause I was going to bring a group of 10 here and now I am not so sure I want to even come back. The menu is limited and for two people and a kid it runs about $75 with a tip. Outdoor and indoor seating. The patio is unique and such a good place for children and pets. They have a wide variety of drinks as well. The chicken nachos were amazing. This is one of my absolute favorite spots and I'm only writing this in hopes for improvement because I want to love it again. Ive been 3 times over the last month, all at off-peak hours, and the service was just terrible. We were waiting at least 20 minutes for anyone to come by while 4-5 staff stood around and talked. The first time I thought maybe it was anomaly but it keeps happening. I used to LOVE the food but the past few times it has not been great at all. The "join the waitlist" feature available really works. I invited 14 friends to join me after a play and our table was ready by the time we walked from the play to the restaurant. I like that they serve several locally brewed beers on tap. Service was top notch... even with 15 people. Separate checks wasn't a problem.. the food is good and the waffle fries are excellent! Always a good time coming here! We typically come on a weekday at night, because the lines during weekends are crazy long. But this spot is so cute, and relaxing. A great spot for a date, catch up with friends, or just grab a casual dinner. I've been back a total of 2 times within a week and everything was delicious. The burger is my absolute favorite! I'm typically not a burger girl, but I tried my boyfriend's burger once and I fell in love. It was honestly one of the best burgers I have ever had! Just your classic.. double meat, cheese, and lettuce. But the burger itself was so flavorful and juicy! Their waffle fries are soo good and you have to dip with their ranch! Overall this place is cool hang out. It's perfect for casual dining with a group of friends and because a large portion of the dining space is outdoors, so might find it a bit more kid-friendly. They actually used to have play areas for kids which I wish they would bring back. The food is pretty good. I'd give it a 4/5. They give nice size portions and everything always seems fresh. The cocktails tend to be a little sweet. But they make a decent margarita. The service is always good. Just make sure you get on the yelp wait-list if you go on the weekend. And again, keep in mind that most of the dining area is outdoors, so it can be pretty hard to get seated in the indoor area during busy times. This is a spot I always keep on my list. read more

Hubby and I came here after a long day at the Heard science museum, which is only about 10 minutes away from here! I found out that they offer a free queso dip and chips appetizer when you sign up for their email list which was awesome. They have a huge outdoor patio setting hence the name the yard, it's a nice backyard bbq vibe. We opted to sit inside because of the bugs however it was small so we asked our server if we could move to the patio and she gladly moved us.
